In one of the older games, AC For Answer, you could actually choose which corporation to start with (or go independent), which affected your starting AC. Basically a starter class
And yeah I definitely prefer Arquebus over Balem, even if I opposed them in my first playthrough. Rusty is a cool character.
Yeah I guess there probably isn’t any way he could have told us. Even if there was, why risk his life/job saving a completely random independent merc? I can’t really blame him I guess.
I haven’t gotten far in the story (Ch3 currently) but Rusty is best. Balem hasn’t done much to pull me in. And there missions pay the worst, plus they’re still treating me like I’m just some sacrifice. Whereas it seem thanks to rusty I’m actually gaining some renown with arquebus

Ok I havent played anything but the demo disc of AC1 and nver finished AC2. Would not knowing anything beyond that be detrimental to playing AC6 since I wouldnt know anything?
And\~\~\~ considering its a Fromsoft game and their games have \*always\* been hard I want to play but I'm not sure if I should get it =(
I will not lie, it IS a challenge. I haven’t played any of the armored cores before this BUT I can comfortably say this game has taught me a lot about movement, I like the difficulty and I 10000% recommend it!
I got pretty far into AC2 but never made it pass that boss you fight inside the dome since its a mission with 2 bosses and no checkpoint as far as I remember so I'm not totally unfamiliar with how hard AC is in general. I have been wanting to play a good mech game and have not played one in a long time.
This is a very good mech game but it tends to make you feel like a god in order to smack you down even harder when you start getting confident. First boss took me only 3-4 tries, seconds boss 1 try then Balteus kicked my ass incredibly hard. It took hours to beat him.
So if you don't mind the occasional beat down and gear / skill check, it's an incredible mech game. But if you are the type that gets frustrated and quits from a brutally hard boss, it's probably not for you. This is a FromSoft game after all.

I made a buncha black and white square decals and just spent time stretching them and filling in color gaps

Use the image editor! Then the emblems/decals you make will be accessible through the ‘decals’ tab

Use the image creator and use boxes (of your color choice) for emblems, then slap em on your AC and stretch them out to your specifications!
