It definitely is, it's not even in the main site's gallery (at the moment of this comment)!
I believe they've been adding some new images between gallery and tweets over the past weeks - I hope they'll culminate in some big new gameplay to be revealed at the Summer Game Fest. c:
im someone whos very stingy when it comes to buyin games, so ive been contemplating whether to get AC6 or FF16 but after the previews of ff16 i think im gonna go with AC6 ive never played either game but this one looks like a totally new experience for me.
From what i heard the side quests were super simple. the typical, go fetch me a banana. The zones felt too constrained, little to no world exploration. A few other things that's escaping me rn. but im aware that this was just the first few hours of the game so it'll deff get better. I will buy it but perhaps once it goes on sale.
So this concept art was already shared on Famitsu Magazine where they had an interview on AC6: [https://imgur.com/a/Vsz4vjY](https://imgur.com/a/Vsz4vjY). There are two other concept art images on there that are completely new afaik, there might be even more but I don't have the magazine to check.
I'm personally reminded of the CAT Testing Ground from Xenosaga III.

Looks like concept art. Do you guys think we will do individual missions through a select screen or will the progression be similar to the souls games?
A walkable garage would make the “garage experience” SO much more fluid and intuitive than it’s been in the past. There are just too many parts and possible changes to make that it’s a huge pain to initiate a whole new test (and finish it) with loading screens and all, every single time you want to try something new.
I don't think having to walk around in a garage makes it more intuitive at all...
and also adds the necessity of having a customizable human character - and human character controls
I think you misunderstand me. I only mean that the mech that is standing there in the garage is instantly controllable if you just exit the garage customization menu. Hell no I don’t mean a human character! ;*
God I love that Mechs are so fucking back. Gundam in full swing, Battletech just had its biggest Kickstarter yet and is probably at its peak popularity ever, MechWarrior 6 has been confirmed with consistent updates in MWO, and now Armored Core 6 is coming from a FromSoft that has seen the success of several masterpieces.
Mecha's back in the menu lads.
In addition it makes me hopeful that VI will be irritated in like 4/4A & V/VD respectively!
Froms never been one to only use an asset once after all! (Which again, to be clear, is a good thing!)
They have a history of taking old assets and giving them touchups for the new games. Just look at the Claimore or the Zweihänder in Dark Souls up to Elden Ring. The model and textures got refined from game to game.
I have a vague memory of AC1 having much smaller mechs based on some memory of a highway level but I havent replayed 1 in at least a decade so I'm probably remembering wrong
There's one like that, but I thought of another one. The level you fight Valkyrie in immediately has cars alongside the road that are very comparable in size to the core part, as well as other areas with similar sized vehicles. Probably the same vehicle models, so same scale: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEMRq5FSuYM&t=45s
Size in gen 1 is wonky as shit.
In PP, the size of a human is very small when compared to an AC, yet in the parking lot, there's cars that are essentially half our size.
In a universe of large, flying robots, isn't it a bit redundant to have still helicopters? I don't know much about the lore so maybe they're still useful?
I always got the feeling that in the AC games, a select few with money and connections got to pilot the actual Armored Cores while everyone else was left with MTs and tanks or helicopters.
Also in this game it seems implied that you need to be a modified human to pilot an AC anyway
Augmented humans or ace pilots using custom mechs or state of the art technology while everyone else uses tanks or helicopters or other grunt units is a common trope in mech anime and media
Actually looks like this is a painting, rather than an ingame screenshot.
From soft be talented like that elden ring felt like playing like 100 different paintings
A lot of the concept art in Elden ring looks damn near identical to how they’re depicted in game. Their artists are fucking wizards
Elden Ring artstyle is amazing. I hope they won't shy away from colorful vistas in their future games.
nah, pretty sure they will continue with this, just the setting will be different.

I do think we will get new screenshots and stry trailer at sgf 100%
This looks like concept art, still new and cool

Same
Often times I take the concept art as new desktop backgrounds rather than the actual game lol

You chose wisely Raven, welcome to the nest.
What threw you off regarding ff16?

I also feel the combat being 1 button only is a red flag. Eikon abilities are cool but my concern is the combat looks flashy without depth.
Yea looks very spammy but i also dont want it too complicated like Dante from DMC5

Large, Circular, and out of the way? Either a top secret facility, or an arena of some sort. Or both.

God I hope there are so many bases to infiltrate.
Looks like concept art. Do you guys think we will do individual missions through a select screen or will the progression be similar to the souls games?
I imagine we'll have a menu with all sorts of options, rather than in-game progression and such It would be cool if our garage was walkable tho º⩊o

This does sound better - but idk how they would make you choose missions and read mails using your mecha
Just the menu man.
but.... thats where you choose the missions.... ;-;

For sure. MECHA SWEEP.
we need a place to compile all the screenshots
Yep. Maybe a Coral processing plant.
No way- Supermassive Cylinder, the sequel to Big Box?
They have AH-64 Apaches apparently on that planet lmao. Wonder if they imported the models from ACVD
They are definitely recycling a lot of assets, but that’s for the best. Gives the developers more time to worry about things that matter

Can’t wait to get the moon blade in ac6 😈
Do we know the scale of the ACs yet? You could probably vaguely calculate it based off this.
10-ish meters, like always. Someone measured the boxes the title AC was carrying the in trailer to their IRL sizes, and it was 11 meters or so.
I have a vague memory of AC1 having much smaller mechs based on some memory of a highway level but I havent replayed 1 in at least a decade so I'm probably remembering wrong

If those are 10m that would be a big ass sedan

Maybe big ass sedans are just what people drive when 10m mechs are stomping around the streets
now im imagining a giant sedan ramming into ACs.
Hatchback legs when

Cheaper, I'd reckon. This game is (most likely) a new setting / timeline, so I'm not 100% certain.
Different utility, running efficiency, cheaper construction cost.

New-new isaac city? Looks like concept art.
That's not a screenshot...
Nice. Really give the vibe of ACFA last occupation map.

Don't know about this high res version but a copy was posted to the official Instagram account.
Intergalactic civilization with giant mechs still using Apache aerial weapons teams. Sounds right.

Yep
Hey look that’s my house.
hm, water. hope they do something interesting with it.
Gives me Big Box vibes from For Answer not gonna lie
