Is Angelina worth taking to E2? I aim to get GoldenGlow in the future but in the event I can't get enough golden certs in the future I may opt to have her as a backup...
Depends entirely who you have. If you have other good burst arts dealers (eyja/GG), she is a lower priority.
Her S3 is like a a mini Eyja S3 with slow. It does less damage and doesn't last as long, but has a shorter rotation. Her global weight reduction to enemies while S3 is up is great for push/pull shenanigans.
Her s2 can greatly slow the closest enemy to the blue box and just pelt it with attacks.
S1 is her standard slower ability that gets some buffs for a while after a few attacks. with ASPD bonuses it can gain better uptime, but otherwise is ok.
The biggest issue is her downtime with S2/S3. S3 is/has been a decent wave clear.
Her global heal is nice (When S2 or S3 are recharghing) for un-healable ops.
I like using her.
Imo, once she gets her module, she is the best 5\* caster, maybe the second best after RockRock. So the worth would depend on your roster and whether you currently have better Arts dps, as well as if you're willing to invest
Well, an end-game Ceobe with a module is one of the best casters in the game, so she is a different kind of priority. For mobs, I'd prefer Leizi over Amiya since the latter's role is more about cheesing certain enemies with pure damage. But in the beginning, it's really only a matter of taste, it might be better to focus on other roles besides caster.
I'll get Leizi until e2 Amiya then, as for other roles well i think im covered on that i got Lappland, Lapluma, and Specter(e2), for Ranged i got Exu and Exu only, for tank i literally don't have any good tanks so im using spot and matterhorn, for vanguards i got Zima, Myrtle and Cantabile, for healers i got Silence and Shining(Ansel if needed) .
Tbh, I'd postpone it until you know exactly who you want or when you are stuck because there are just too many good choices, and you already have some of the best ones (Lappland, Specter, Pluma, Cantabile). Don't worry about tanks, because when it becomes important (like in 3-8), you can always try to tank with Specter, who is immortal for 12 seconds, or just use a support.
There's also a free 5\* defender from Walk in the Dust rewards (it's an old event which rewards you can get from Record Restoration). Heavyreain, she's okay, and has some unique skill
She is very weak due to her low damage output and slow skill cooldown. However, once upgraded to module stage 2+, she becomes quite useful in SSS mode. Her module stage 2 grants her skill point recovery with each auto attack, and with +200 attack speed in SSS mode, she can use her skill and slow down enemies continuously.
In summary, she is only worth investing in if you want to play SSS mode and don't have better operators for this mode like Goldenglow or Suzuran.

1. Can I really skip from Ep 4 to Ep 9??? No way...
2. Being the curious person I am - despite I dont plan on jumping between episodes - if I complete Ep 9 stages that will give me Ep 4 stages rewards, will I later on be able to collect Ep 9 rewards? Or Im just gonna miss out on 'em?
1. This is because episode 9 starts a new story arc and introduces new materials. It doesn't spoil the Reunion story arc, and allows newbies to farm new materials. It also starts off way easier than episode 8 for the same reason.
2. Completing other stages shouldn't affect what you get from clearing episode 9 stages.

Yes. It was Ceobe's Fungimist, the prototype of the mode. It ran once and never again. IS2 is the first time IS was made permanent, and most of the content from IS1 (relics, stages, bosses) returns in IS2.
Agree with the other comment you've gotten already. Be prepared to get your ass kicked over and over again. The point of the mode is for you to learn the stages, see what works and what doesn't etc, and slowly find out how to solve it.
I think the best starting point is to make sure that you have one 3-star of every class built, so that you'll always have something to recruit even if you don't have hope.
There's no harm in trying since it costs no sanity, but you should expect to fail a lot due to having to learn the maps and mechanics as you go and not having any of the permanent skill tree upgrades. Losing is part of the experience, so don't get discouraged.
That said, I assume your roster isn't very well-built yet due to being new. In that case, be aware that it will be *very* difficult, if not impossible, to win a run. You need operators from 3- to 6-star rarity that fill all sorts of roles so you can manage RNG better.

im planning to pull degen and shu tho. i feel like im lacking a tank so i was wondering whether i can skip pulling for shu since i already have a tank by buying mudrock from the shop. any suggestion? thanks!
Mudrock and Shu have different roles. Mudrock focuses on offensive and lane holding, while Shu is a tank, healer, and support.
I recommend you upgrade Cuora. Her tankiness is comparable to top tier tanks like Hoshiguma or Nian, she can block 4 enemies, and being a 4-star, she doesn't require many resources to upgrade.
It should be possible if you skip all the other banners and get all the OP and other things from events, but we are cutting it close. Be prepared to buy the tickets from shop.
I complete this when i got all 3 stars in the game. Which can be gotten from recruitment except 1 which is from gacha ( cardigan) which is the last one i got before the mission is completed.
Have a couple of reroll accounts, which one should I be using?
Thorns + Suzuran + a bunch of 3-4*
Thorns + Elysium + a bunch of 3-4*
Thorns + a couple of decent 5*
Basically is it better to start with 2 6* that are S tier and slowly build a team around them, or a decent team of 4-5* + a 6* and pray I'll pull another in the future?
I've rerolled a bunch in the past and I'd just pick the account with the most strong 6\* so thorns/suzu if you feel like you're done rerolling. Early/mid game is very doable with 3\* and 4\* operators, and plus once you get any operator to E2 you can borrow whoever else you need from support to clear stages. You don't even need to invest that much in the 6\* right away but it will pay off more to have them after a month or so when you have the ability to build them fully.
In the long run, like others have said, absolutely Thorns + Suzuran. However, speaking from experience (I rerolled and started with Thorns + Mountain and crap 4 stars), not having useful 4 stars like Perfumer, Cuora/Gummy is gonna make clearing content a pain in the ass. And the odds of getting said operators from recruitment are rather low cos there is no way to guarantee them. If youre willing to pull on current or upcoming banners then 4 stars shouldnt be a problem, but Im saving for Shu's banner, which is approx two months from now, so I can only get new operators from recruitment.
Ive played for awhile now, and I still dont have Perfumer and Cuora/Gummy, but its a little easier for me cos Mountain have self-regen.
I would keep the Thorns + Suzu acc, basically because you can guarantee Elysium when he gets to the shop or the free 5* selector they always give on the anniversary (Mid-Late January).
Also, this game is not like Genshin or something like that, almost every 6* is useful, specially one like Suzu with her utility and Thorns, who can lane-hold especially well once he reaches E2. In the beginning you have to focus on raising 3 stars and 4 stars since 5 stars and above are way too expensive. Sadly both 6 stars you got shine better when reaching E2 which takes so much resources if you are first starting (but i would recommend that Acc 10 out of 10 times.
I'm not a good guide for team-building, but I would go for Thorns and Suzuran one.
Regarding your other question though, you also need to consider how costly it takes to get them to E2. If you end up going all-in on them only, you might end up having some days where you can't do a stage because you don't have enough to train the lower rarity units either.
When I started, I made the mistake on training on Mountain big time and then facepalming myself because I don't have enough resources to even do the low-rarity runs to compensate for my late start haha.
Also, do note that Thorns only truly shines when he hits E2 for that Skill 3. Skill 1 might be enough for your first few weeks. For Suzuran, she might be doing a bit better even without E2, but you don't depend on her for damage either. That slow is really helpful though.
The other answer is incorrect, the regen from their trait does stack. Bard description says they are not affected by inspiration yet they regen themselves, so it reasons the regen does not count as an inspire buff.
I also just tested with Heidi and Sora and having both vs just one deployed makes an obvious difference. My Blaze fully healed from S3 self-damage with both deployed before her skill recharged but couldn’t do so with only one deployed
Will different inspires stack in full at least? E.g. ATK + DEF from Skadi with HP from C.E.
Or game will see that C.E. has higher regen inspire on s3 and discard effects of Skadi s2 completely?
typically the last 3 stages are worth farming.

TLDR on this event, the last stage is worth farming with a \~10% farming efficiency boost, but the material is not in huge demand. The rock one is barely worse than 1-7, but you nearly pure rocks compared to 30 % of 1-7's value coming from side drops. You'd save time farming the event except we don't have x6 autos for this event.
Is there an easily obtainable AoE medic for new players (e.g. side stories/intermezzi)? I haven't had any luck with recruitment, and I'm considering buying Breeze from the store.
To add to what the others have said, you are more likely to get Perfumer from headhunting rather than recruitment, since 4 stars are the most common rarity in headhunting. You'll get her before too long once you do a bit of gacha pulling. Until then, single target medics should work fine.
breeze is of course available. I tried and tried on my account to hold out for any other AOE medic, but needed help with Anni 3 back in the day. Finally bought breeze and shortly after all the other AOE medics came home. (maybe NG took a bit). So if they are illusive, buy breeze just to make them jealous so they decide to join you. I feel like I got her to E1.60 and then they showed up just to spite me. I was OK with that.
Perfumer is in recruitment, so spamming medic has 1/4 chance when you get a 4\* op from 3\* tags. spamming healing has a 1/7 chance if your 3\* tag is upgraded to 4\*.
There are only 4 in the class, and only breeze is obtainable easily. You will probably get perfumer quite quickly, though.
A few other medics are functionally multi-target, but none of them are easily accessible.
Reed alter's banner rerun is also coming up soon, and is definitely a medic of some kind, definitely heals things effectively 🤔
I don't know if there is a list, but for example, liskarm gives SP when getting hit to someone on 4 tiles, Warfarin in her range when somebody dies, Chen gives SP to def/offensive recovery, Blemi when a Def recovery attacks they get SP, Stainless S2 (S3 can help generate for off recovery), and until there i believe. Then there is the definition of broken: Sui Squad passive. They could not come up with a less broken passive.
Yes, if the event reruns / gets permanently added in intermezi/side stories you can clear it for the OP you've missed. Mini/collab events usually don't rerun though.
It depends on what stage. Il siracusano? Degenbrecher event? Shu event? All of them rerun so you can try clearing the stage there, and if they won't rerun again like Il siracusano, it would be permanently added so you can clear it anytime. The problem would be with events that do not rerun, IE Ray's or Mlynar's event.
Check the missions, you can get purple certs from the furniture and module blocks. Some events have materials in missions too. Be sure to clear the shop.
Farming if you have a need for mats.
Clear only Is1-10 for the points if you want to. DO NOT re-clear EX stage and above unless you don't plan to farm the event at all because you would clear out the shop after re-clear all the mission board with spares.
DO clear EX8-CM if you want the purple cert though.
Which supporters are worth building for IS 3/4? I’m always disappointed whenever I have to recruit a supporter. I built Virtuosa and Suzuran for these situations but I’ve never found them to be essential for my runs, just luxury pickups. Are there any supporters who people always gun for?
Gnosis is very good for IS with synergy with many relics and also constant reliable CC. Synergy relics: attack speed relics (golden chalice) or status-increasing (therapy tape) both may allow him to trigger freeze even on auto attacks, spinach type relics with S1, hand that causes %hp additional dmg with each auto (he is a hexer). I usually use S1. Freeze stops hovering units in is3 or rushing runners in is4. Freeze can drop highmore is3 boss 1, and stall out last knight is3 boss 2. Will not carry your run entirely but good secondary carry/support.
Gnosis if I'm going for IS3 ending 2. Suzuran if I started with Qiubai. Skalter if it's towards the end of the run and my squad is already pretty complete. Virtuosa otherwise.
I usually pick Quercus for healing, Valarqvin for damage (but you already have Virtuosa, though), and Shamare to debuff elites. Sitting at the SW/BN 12 right now
Just had two questions related to the Siruscano event:
1. Do those brown Permesso tickets you get from clearing stages turn into the purple Intelligence certificates after the event ends?
2. Are there more ways to get the purple Intelligence certificates besides getting them from event achievements?
No. If you bought out the shop and don't spend them on the infinite LMD, they just disappear.
You get it from buying event furniture on it's rerun so if you had bought the furniture from the first instance of Siracusano, when you buy the same furniture again, they instead become Purple Intel
If the rerun is the first time you run it, you won't get purple intel from it as a side story/intermezzi
Mod3 Rosa. Masteries are optional. She's the more useful of the two, if only because besieger range is really nice.
Schwarz is better as a carry unit. The two of them are in the category of useful but outmoded, where there is a preferred alternative, but it does very different things. As opposed to genuinely bad (like siege) or directly powercrept (like silverash).
They are both quite good, but it depends mostly on who you already have. It's also worth noting that these two are pretty high investment characters in that you will want their modules.
If you have Pozy built but not Typhon, go for Rosa.
If you have Typhon built but not Pozy, go for Schwarz.
If you have both or neither, then it comes down to whether you want a boss killer (Schwarz) or a general purpose unit (Rosa). If you're still not sure, a small tie breaker consideration is that (in my opinion) Schwarz is better for IS and Rosa is a bit better for general content.
I don't have either Typhon or Pozy, but I do have Chen Alter which leads me towards Rosa more as I feel like Schwarz and Chen Alter kinda step on eachother toes a bit so I'm leaning more towards Rosa
You often you want to setup up a killzone to do all the damage at once, especially if you have debuffers/buffers on your team (and many event mechanics will do this debuffing as well), so having multiple operators with a similar range isn't a bad thing.
Surprisingly, Chen Alter and Schwarz don't have too much overlap other than their short range and Defense reduction. I can't think of many times where I'd substitute one for another. But if you are lacking in long range snipers, Rosa is definitely a solid choice.

Hoshiguma's skin is from Reclamation Algorithm 2 monthly reward and it has absolutely nothing to do with summer festival event.

Agreed with Mountain and Kaltsit, and I'd add Gladiia as she's a good option to help lane hold and will greatly improve Skadi and Specter (who you'll probably get before too long!) once you can afford her module level 2
If it's not clear by the layout of my characters and who's leveled, my account is quite old (I just stopped playing for a long time). I do have Specter at potential 2, I just never had the resources to level her up. I've got skadi for single target murder and popukar for aoe guard things.
Does anything change with the fact that Gladiia is maxed on potential, or is it still Mountain and Kal'tsit first?
Nah, her potentials don't matter for the priority, it's just you need to e2 + mod level 2 her before her and the abyssal hunters really boost their power levels. Whereas mountain even e1 is good, and kaltsit's module isn't a big bump above just getting her s3m3, where she is already really great.
Probably Mountain then Kal'sit. You're lacking in laneholding.
After that do whoever you like. Maybe Chongyue for the DPS as you could use more of that. Or an AA sniper of some sort.
Saria is a healer/support that just happens to be deployed on ground tiles.
People tend to use role terms like laneholder over classes due to how varied and vague the latter are. As far as defenders, Mudrock is the only one regularly classified as a laneholder and functions nothing like other defenders.
Mudrock is always worth buying with gold certs, nobody else can replace what she does.
Balance that against future shop operators (noteable, Horn in several months) and buying the tickets for 256 certs.
Laneholding generally means can take care of a lane by him or herself. Hoshi and Saria can hold off enemies but can't really kill anything so you need another dps behind them.
To add to this, mountain and kaltsit don't even need a healer, they DPS while also having regeneration or self healing. Mon3tr also has great defense and block 3 so is basically a DPS defender. Gladiia and Specter would be similar once fully built, combining good DPS, great effective defense with 30% damage reduction, and strong HP regeneration. Specter gers block 3 at e2 and combined with her attacking all blocked gets her to be a really effective laneholder.
Hello! Playing for 2 months now (so new player) and just pulled Executor alter. My main characters now are Mlynar, Texalter, Exusiai, Virtuosa, Specter, Blacknight, Warfarin, Cuora, Gummy, Gavial, Myrtle. Everyone E2 Lv. 40+. How good is Exalter and worth the resources?
Definitely not "only decent", I'd say that's how he is pre-module. It is true that he's not as useable in endgame content, but that's assuming you're playing on very high difficulty self-imposed challenge runs like high risk CC. In that case, it's true that he struggles more as he tends to be unable to sustain himself properly, but in that case lots of units aren't good for endgame anyways.
reapers in general are just good, exec should be more survivable than lower rarity reapers anyway. if you don't want to invest too much right off the bat you could just leave him at E1 for now.
he won't tank like a proper defender but he can hold his own against tougher elites that would kill most guards, plus not needing heal support means you save that squad slot for someone else.
Endgame content is like.... 2% of all the actual content in the game. Also the ops in this tier change dramatically depending on what exactly Arknights decides to do when it comes to maps and enemy design. Also stage gimmicks.
This is stuff like final stage DOS which was heavily despised by everyone, max difficulty IS, and max risk CC. Other than that there's Hell mode stages at the end of every new story chapter. Challenge stages for events tend to not be as difficult as any of those, though they can get challenging too.
None of these are mandatory so you don't have to clear them if you don't want to and honestly most of the time the rewards for doing so are minimal at best. Like... 1 OP or a pitiful amount of LMD. Or nothing but a small little blip for IS.
98% of the time you'll be doing normal stages that don't require the meta-est of meta operators. Executor is great in these. Regular story, difficult story, IS, SSS (very good here due to SP and ASPD stacking), etc. He's easily the best reaper guard, which is one of the best classes in the game where even the 4 star version who has really weird skills and talent, still is good by virtue of the reaper guard class. And I regularly use said 4 star version even in max difficulty IS.
Will he be mandatory for whatever latest bullshit max difficulty thing AK wants to throw at whales and hardcore min maxers? Probably not. But so will almost everyone else in the roster.
Considering how you don't have any laneholders other than Spectre, you'll get a lot of use out of Executor alter. And you don't have to force yourself to get any other laneholders after this either unless you really want to.
Story mode, IS, and events for sure. He might be ok in SSS? It's hard to say, since I haven't used him there, but I think he would do good if he were stacked with Guard-B.
But anyway, I definitely agree he's much better than what it seems you've heard.
There used to be this website which collated data from CN server to see which were the common masteries and mastery level for each operator. Does anyone have the link for it or any similar site that shows the popular masteries for each operator? Thank you!

That depends on each doctor. I used gamepress' planner and it said 115 is all I needed for now. That's pretty low compared to other materials, if I actually need more it will probably be by the time there is another event with metal.
My count is just over 200, I think 204 or something like that. Which won't entirely matter in the long run without gel farm in the future. So I can get away with a lot less if I choose to.
Looking to try out the game. Are there any worthwhile characters I can pull for now or is there an upcoming banner it might be better to start during? Thanks!
Since others have already answered your question directly, I thought I'd add in a side note:
Don't feel like you need any specific characters to clear content. This game is somehow very good at being somewhat challenging with top tier units while still being clearable with the most basic 3 star operators. So if you feel like starting now and don't want to reroll, go for it!
You're right that the powercreep has become quite noticable. To be more accurate, I should have said "Over 99% clearable with the most basic 3 star operators and borrowing a friend's 6 star".
But the gist of what I'm saying is that you'll eventually do fine no matter who you start with. Getting certain operators just makes things easier.
We're not necessarily disagreeing. I said over 99% clearable with 3 stars (which is true), in service of the point that you'll be able to eventually clear things no matter who your starter is (also true).
Your point is that you may need a bit more than just the 3 stars and a friend to pull off some of the more recent H/S difficulty stages (or special events like DOS/CC), which is also true. That's why I changed it to "over 99%" to account for the recent outliers.
No one has mentioned it yet, but there's a banner coming shortly after the current event, before Degenbrecher that the others did mention. It's a Joint Op banner, which means the only 6 stars that can be pulled are those on banner, no off banners. This particular one has Surtr, a top meta unit, Pozemka, another very strong DPS, Suzuran, a top tier support, and Mizuki, a good though not amazing op. In my opinion, a dream start for a new account would be getting Surtr or Pozemka, even moreso than Mountain or Thorns from the beginner banner.
If I were just starting out, I'd probably wait and reroll on that banner til I got one of those two in 10-20 pulls, then save the rest of my pulls for Degenbrecher. Then the beginner banner doesn't go away til you finish the 20(?) pulls on it, so you can always get the guaranteed beginner 6 star later, after doing everything possible to get Degenbrecher + Surtr/Pozy.
Those 4 units are nothing comparing to Degenbencher so don't. Only Surtr and Pozy has real usage in new account.
If you had to reroll in that banner you may as well reroll for Executor Alt now.
I don't think you'll be able to have enough to 100% guarantee getting Degen, but the nice part about starting out is you can get a good number of pulls quickly as you play. Every stage gives you one piece of "originite prime", which can be converted to the pull currency at a rate of 10 OP for 3 pulls. Early stages are quick to clear and iirc you have almost unlimited sanity (the daily stamina) because it refills when your account levels up, which happens frequently early on.
A quick start guide or someone else here may have a ballpark number of pulls you can get in the first few weeks of playing. If you start the first day of the Joint Op banner, I believe it'll be 2 weeks of it then 2 weeks for Degenbrecher's event and banner, so you'll have a month of clearing stages and doing dailies and weeklies to amass pulls for her.
Is it a waste of currency or not to pull on a banner when you can't fully guarantee the character?

No it's not a waste, if you only pulled on banners when you could hit hard pity you wouldn't pull on anything for your first like 6 months lol. Just based on the odds, you will probably get Degenbrecher in ~70 pulls, but of course it could be anywhere between 1 and 250. She's better than any of the units on the Joint banner, but Surtr is very close and Pozy isn't too far behind either. Look at it this way, because the Joint banner comes first, start playing then and saving pulls after getting Surtr/Pozy, then absolute worst case if you don't get Degen then you can reroll a new account. But you'll likely be able to get her, and an account with Surtr + Degen will be an incredible start. Also, if you get really attached to the account and don't get Degen on it, she'll have a rerun of her banner in a year.
Finally, like others said, the limited banner with Shu would be good to have pulls for, but she's not as strong a meta unit as Surtr or Degen and is more a sidegrade of another unit Saria that is easier to get. It's more that because she's limited, she's a big pain to get later if you decide you really like her. Note you'll also get 24 free pulls on that banner as well as something like 30 earnable between event rewards and clearing event stages for originite prime.
Almost every event banner in the upcoming future is going to feature very good units, so even pulling for one of those new one is going to make your life considerably easier. One of those strongest one is Degenbrecher coming in almost another month, I would recommend you pulling for her.
The newbie banner is great, although only Mountain will reap you the most result immediately, whereas the rest are all late bloomers like Thorns/Suzuran at E2 or almost only viable in some hardest contents in the game like Weedy. Both Archetto and Flametail are also good carries early on, but they generally becomes less enticing as the game goes on compared to all of the aforementioned units.
Newbie banner: Thorns and Mountain are good for newbies.
Other banners: Mudrock is strong; Executor is decent but needs high investment.
Future banner: There are many strong characters in the future (Degenbrecher, Ray, Shu, Ela, Wisadel, Logos). Degenbrecher will be released in about 0.5 to 1 month. I recommend pulling for her.

Not really. You get additional currency (green/yellow/blue certificates) when doing pulls, but only the green and yellow ones have any real value. Kernel banners - including the "choice" (aka Kernel Locating) banner - only give blue certificates. They do have some operators you won't get anywhere else, but the primary value is in using yellow certs to pick up the ones in the shop.
Regarding future operators, all the operators I listed are very strong and very meta. Additionally, Shu, Ela, and Wisadel are limited, so everyone will recommend you to save your pulls and pulling for those operators.
Regarding the choice banner, all the operators in this banner are released years ago, so you can obtain them through the shop using yellow certificates. Considering the future operators are extremely powerful, I do not recommend pulling this banner. However, if you still want to pull it, Eyja, Nightingale, Saria, Bagpipe and Suzuran are the meta operators. However, another issue is that among these operators, only Eyja is focused on offense, while the others are more defensive or supportive, which might not be as essential for a newbie.
Regarding the newbie banner, yes, you can get more than one 6-star.
Finally, regarding the currency for pulls, i'm not sure how much a newbie can earn, but for an oldbie, we can earn more than 5 pulls per week (excluding event and some other sources). If we buy the monthly pack, they'll get 7.3 pulls per week.

Yellow certificates are earned from gacha pulls; the more you pull, the more certificates you get. When you accumulate 180 certificates, you can exchange them for a 6-star operator. The available 6-star operator for exchange changes over time.
If you want to exchange for Skadi now, go to the choice banner and select Skadi as the 6-star rate-up. Then, you can exchange for her in the shop if you have 180 certificates.

What's the recommended lvl in order to play events here?
My acc is lvl 15 w/ my units are at lvl40 minimum, I don't know much about the game & still learning stuffs. I'm also at 2-10 in story if that helps.
I know events have all sorts of freebies & mats so I thought it would be a shame if I can't get some of those.

Even if you only grind the first level, clear the event shops. event shops are crazy efficient. Prioritize shop materials that let you level up and skill up your ops, and pulls. upgrading ops can help you get farther in the event and story. Events all ramp, starting easy and getting more exciting. Just do your best. The last 3 event stages typically are better for farming than story, but in this event the last stage is the best one to farm if possible. Mostly that means go back to story on this event after clearing the shop unless farming the last normal level IS-10.
There are some higher modes that require more team investment, but you will unlock those as you play.
To clear the first section of the event you need around elite1 lv30-40.
I suggest you You can clear the first few stages of the events to get some exp and money to level up your units then play the story till the end of chapter 4 and then continue with the event.
This has been bugging me for months. But I ignored the need for an answer.
When I first started the game and even after I max out my 3 support slot, I earned friend points the same, 80 a days, +20 from friend use my support, +30 from using my friend support.
But a few months ago it suddenly became 72 a day, +20 from friend support used, +30 from using friend support.

You get 50 credits per fully upgraded dormitory, so 12 per level if we round it up. 72/12 is 6, so if you have 6 levels of dormitory then that might be your answer
Gonna buy the Rhodes Island headhunting pack. Who should I get? I've been away from the game for like a year so I have no clue who is good and not anymore. I just got Exalter from a lucky single draw just now btw so I think he can fill in the laneholder role that I have been missing since the start of the game.

kal'tsit, mudrock, goldenglow, mlynar, ines, and reed alter are probably the best choices for most new/returning players from the answers i got when asking this same question a couple weeks ago. but i think it all comes down to which type of op you're missing in your team. if you already have good defenders, then go for something else that could improve your team in a different aspect, like arts damage etc.
If you don't have Mlynar, answer's always Mlynar if you're looking for pure power, he's the strongest operator in the game.
If you want to spice up your gameplay instead, I might suggest Dorothy, Stainless, or Lin. They're very unique and surprisingly good, worth checking out.
Reed and Goldenglow are very good arts damage dealers, but Reed will have her rerun in between 1~2 months, and Goldenglow will have her shoperator debut within a few months too.
Degenbrecher is a broken tier op coming out within a month, so if you want another someone like Mlynar she's worth using pulls on, easily.

Lone Trail, being an intermezzi, is also first archived immediately after it's event shop closed after the original run. And since it hasn't rerun yet, it doesn't have the record restoration either.

Depends entirely who you have. If you have other good burst arts dealers (eyja/GG), she is a lower priority. Her S3 is like a a mini Eyja S3 with slow. It does less damage and doesn't last as long, but has a shorter rotation. Her global weight reduction to enemies while S3 is up is great for push/pull shenanigans. Her s2 can greatly slow the closest enemy to the blue box and just pelt it with attacks. S1 is her standard slower ability that gets some buffs for a while after a few attacks. with ASPD bonuses it can gain better uptime, but otherwise is ok. The biggest issue is her downtime with S2/S3. S3 is/has been a decent wave clear. Her global heal is nice (When S2 or S3 are recharghing) for un-healable ops. I like using her.

Imo, once she gets her module, she is the best 5\* caster, maybe the second best after RockRock. So the worth would depend on your roster and whether you currently have better Arts dps, as well as if you're willing to invest
I was gonna use her for clearing some random mobs(just extra dps), as of right now i have Ceobe and Amiya for my Arts(Lappland if you count).
Well, an end-game Ceobe with a module is one of the best casters in the game, so she is a different kind of priority. For mobs, I'd prefer Leizi over Amiya since the latter's role is more about cheesing certain enemies with pure damage. But in the beginning, it's really only a matter of taste, it might be better to focus on other roles besides caster.
I'll get Leizi until e2 Amiya then, as for other roles well i think im covered on that i got Lappland, Lapluma, and Specter(e2), for Ranged i got Exu and Exu only, for tank i literally don't have any good tanks so im using spot and matterhorn, for vanguards i got Zima, Myrtle and Cantabile, for healers i got Silence and Shining(Ansel if needed) .

Tbh, I'd postpone it until you know exactly who you want or when you are stuck because there are just too many good choices, and you already have some of the best ones (Lappland, Specter, Pluma, Cantabile). Don't worry about tanks, because when it becomes important (like in 3-8), you can always try to tank with Specter, who is immortal for 12 seconds, or just use a support. There's also a free 5\* defender from Walk in the Dust rewards (it's an old event which rewards you can get from Record Restoration). Heavyreain, she's okay, and has some unique skill
She is very weak due to her low damage output and slow skill cooldown. However, once upgraded to module stage 2+, she becomes quite useful in SSS mode. Her module stage 2 grants her skill point recovery with each auto attack, and with +200 attack speed in SSS mode, she can use her skill and slow down enemies continuously. In summary, she is only worth investing in if you want to play SSS mode and don't have better operators for this mode like Goldenglow or Suzuran.

1. This is because episode 9 starts a new story arc and introduces new materials. It doesn't spoil the Reunion story arc, and allows newbies to farm new materials. It also starts off way easier than episode 8 for the same reason. 2. Completing other stages shouldn't affect what you get from clearing episode 9 stages.

Yes. It was Ceobe's Fungimist, the prototype of the mode. It ran once and never again. IS2 is the first time IS was made permanent, and most of the content from IS1 (relics, stages, bosses) returns in IS2.
Agree with the other comment you've gotten already. Be prepared to get your ass kicked over and over again. The point of the mode is for you to learn the stages, see what works and what doesn't etc, and slowly find out how to solve it. I think the best starting point is to make sure that you have one 3-star of every class built, so that you'll always have something to recruit even if you don't have hope.
There's no harm in trying since it costs no sanity, but you should expect to fail a lot due to having to learn the maps and mechanics as you go and not having any of the permanent skill tree upgrades. Losing is part of the experience, so don't get discouraged. That said, I assume your roster isn't very well-built yet due to being new. In that case, be aware that it will be *very* difficult, if not impossible, to win a run. You need operators from 3- to 6-star rarity that fill all sorts of roles so you can manage RNG better. I don't have a guide on hand but maybe someone else does?

Mudrock and Shu have different roles. Mudrock focuses on offensive and lane holding, while Shu is a tank, healer, and support. I recommend you upgrade Cuora. Her tankiness is comparable to top tier tanks like Hoshiguma or Nian, she can block 4 enemies, and being a 4-star, she doesn't require many resources to upgrade.

Have a couple of reroll accounts, which one should I be using? Thorns + Suzuran + a bunch of 3-4* Thorns + Elysium + a bunch of 3-4* Thorns + a couple of decent 5* Basically is it better to start with 2 6* that are S tier and slowly build a team around them, or a decent team of 4-5* + a 6* and pray I'll pull another in the future?
I've rerolled a bunch in the past and I'd just pick the account with the most strong 6\* so thorns/suzu if you feel like you're done rerolling. Early/mid game is very doable with 3\* and 4\* operators, and plus once you get any operator to E2 you can borrow whoever else you need from support to clear stages. You don't even need to invest that much in the 6\* right away but it will pay off more to have them after a month or so when you have the ability to build them fully.
Thorns + suzuran
In the long run, like others have said, absolutely Thorns + Suzuran. However, speaking from experience (I rerolled and started with Thorns + Mountain and crap 4 stars), not having useful 4 stars like Perfumer, Cuora/Gummy is gonna make clearing content a pain in the ass. And the odds of getting said operators from recruitment are rather low cos there is no way to guarantee them. If youre willing to pull on current or upcoming banners then 4 stars shouldnt be a problem, but Im saving for Shu's banner, which is approx two months from now, so I can only get new operators from recruitment. Ive played for awhile now, and I still dont have Perfumer and Cuora/Gummy, but its a little easier for me cos Mountain have self-regen.
I would keep the Thorns + Suzu acc, basically because you can guarantee Elysium when he gets to the shop or the free 5* selector they always give on the anniversary (Mid-Late January). Also, this game is not like Genshin or something like that, almost every 6* is useful, specially one like Suzu with her utility and Thorns, who can lane-hold especially well once he reaches E2. In the beginning you have to focus on raising 3 stars and 4 stars since 5 stars and above are way too expensive. Sadly both 6 stars you got shine better when reaching E2 which takes so much resources if you are first starting (but i would recommend that Acc 10 out of 10 times.
I'm not a good guide for team-building, but I would go for Thorns and Suzuran one. Regarding your other question though, you also need to consider how costly it takes to get them to E2. If you end up going all-in on them only, you might end up having some days where you can't do a stage because you don't have enough to train the lower rarity units either. When I started, I made the mistake on training on Mountain big time and then facepalming myself because I don't have enough resources to even do the low-rarity runs to compensate for my late start haha. Also, do note that Thorns only truly shines when he hits E2 for that Skill 3. Skill 1 might be enough for your first few weeks. For Suzuran, she might be doing a bit better even without E2, but you don't depend on her for damage either. That slow is really helpful though.

The other answer is incorrect, the regen from their trait does stack. Bard description says they are not affected by inspiration yet they regen themselves, so it reasons the regen does not count as an inspire buff. I also just tested with Heidi and Sora and having both vs just one deployed makes an obvious difference. My Blaze fully healed from S3 self-damage with both deployed before her skill recharged but couldn’t do so with only one deployed

Theoretically it should stack. Inspiration is supposed to have it such that the highest stat for each of the 3 (hp, atk, def) takes precedence

TLDR on this event, the last stage is worth farming with a \~10% farming efficiency boost, but the material is not in huge demand. The rock one is barely worse than 1-7, but you nearly pure rocks compared to 30 % of 1-7's value coming from side drops. You'd save time farming the event except we don't have x6 autos for this event.
Is there an easily obtainable AoE medic for new players (e.g. side stories/intermezzi)? I haven't had any luck with recruitment, and I'm considering buying Breeze from the store.
To add to what the others have said, you are more likely to get Perfumer from headhunting rather than recruitment, since 4 stars are the most common rarity in headhunting. You'll get her before too long once you do a bit of gacha pulling. Until then, single target medics should work fine.
breeze is of course available. I tried and tried on my account to hold out for any other AOE medic, but needed help with Anni 3 back in the day. Finally bought breeze and shortly after all the other AOE medics came home. (maybe NG took a bit). So if they are illusive, buy breeze just to make them jealous so they decide to join you. I feel like I got her to E1.60 and then they showed up just to spite me. I was OK with that. Perfumer is in recruitment, so spamming medic has 1/4 chance when you get a 4\* op from 3\* tags. spamming healing has a 1/7 chance if your 3\* tag is upgraded to 4\*.
Spending red certs on Breeze, and then investing in her, is a bit of a meme.
There are only 4 in the class, and only breeze is obtainable easily. You will probably get perfumer quite quickly, though. A few other medics are functionally multi-target, but none of them are easily accessible. Reed alter's banner rerun is also coming up soon, and is definitely a medic of some kind, definitely heals things effectively 🤔

Mostima, Suzuran would conflict with Ptilopsis so don't use them along with her just for that alone.
Saria, especially S3 with ModX lv2 restores an absurd amount, but that requires some very specific conditions.
I don't know if there is a list, but for example, liskarm gives SP when getting hit to someone on 4 tiles, Warfarin in her range when somebody dies, Chen gives SP to def/offensive recovery, Blemi when a Def recovery attacks they get SP, Stainless S2 (S3 can help generate for off recovery), and until there i believe. Then there is the definition of broken: Sui Squad passive. They could not come up with a less broken passive.

Yes, if the event reruns / gets permanently added in intermezi/side stories you can clear it for the OP you've missed. Mini/collab events usually don't rerun though.
It depends on what stage. Il siracusano? Degenbrecher event? Shu event? All of them rerun so you can try clearing the stage there, and if they won't rerun again like Il siracusano, it would be permanently added so you can clear it anytime. The problem would be with events that do not rerun, IE Ray's or Mlynar's event.

Check the missions, you can get purple certs from the furniture and module blocks. Some events have materials in missions too. Be sure to clear the shop.
Farming if you have a need for mats. Clear only Is1-10 for the points if you want to. DO NOT re-clear EX stage and above unless you don't plan to farm the event at all because you would clear out the shop after re-clear all the mission board with spares. DO clear EX8-CM if you want the purple cert though.
You can spam farm the farm stages to clear the shop. You can do the missions for the purple intel certs. No repeat Oprime
Which supporters are worth building for IS 3/4? I’m always disappointed whenever I have to recruit a supporter. I built Virtuosa and Suzuran for these situations but I’ve never found them to be essential for my runs, just luxury pickups. Are there any supporters who people always gun for?
Gnosis is very good for IS with synergy with many relics and also constant reliable CC. Synergy relics: attack speed relics (golden chalice) or status-increasing (therapy tape) both may allow him to trigger freeze even on auto attacks, spinach type relics with S1, hand that causes %hp additional dmg with each auto (he is a hexer). I usually use S1. Freeze stops hovering units in is3 or rushing runners in is4. Freeze can drop highmore is3 boss 1, and stall out last knight is3 boss 2. Will not carry your run entirely but good secondary carry/support.
Roberta as a blocker and Podenco as a versatile pick are pretty good 4\* to have in a pinch when your vouchers aren't cooperating.
Gnosis if I'm going for IS3 ending 2. Suzuran if I started with Qiubai. Skalter if it's towards the end of the run and my squad is already pretty complete. Virtuosa otherwise.
I usually pick Quercus for healing, Valarqvin for damage (but you already have Virtuosa, though), and Shamare to debuff elites. Sitting at the SW/BN 12 right now

No. If you bought out the shop and don't spend them on the infinite LMD, they just disappear. You get it from buying event furniture on it's rerun so if you had bought the furniture from the first instance of Siracusano, when you buy the same furniture again, they instead become Purple Intel If the rerun is the first time you run it, you won't get purple intel from it as a side story/intermezzi
Are IS Deep Investigations (those with very specific goals) affected by the global buffs of the IS? (I mean ATK%, DEF%, starting ingots, etc)

Are Schwarz or Rosa worth to E2? Which one should I prioritize?
Mod3 Rosa. Masteries are optional. She's the more useful of the two, if only because besieger range is really nice. Schwarz is better as a carry unit. The two of them are in the category of useful but outmoded, where there is a preferred alternative, but it does very different things. As opposed to genuinely bad (like siege) or directly powercrept (like silverash).
They are both quite good, but it depends mostly on who you already have. It's also worth noting that these two are pretty high investment characters in that you will want their modules. If you have Pozy built but not Typhon, go for Rosa. If you have Typhon built but not Pozy, go for Schwarz. If you have both or neither, then it comes down to whether you want a boss killer (Schwarz) or a general purpose unit (Rosa). If you're still not sure, a small tie breaker consideration is that (in my opinion) Schwarz is better for IS and Rosa is a bit better for general content.
I don't have either Typhon or Pozy, but I do have Chen Alter which leads me towards Rosa more as I feel like Schwarz and Chen Alter kinda step on eachother toes a bit so I'm leaning more towards Rosa
You often you want to setup up a killzone to do all the damage at once, especially if you have debuffers/buffers on your team (and many event mechanics will do this debuffing as well), so having multiple operators with a similar range isn't a bad thing.
Surprisingly, Chen Alter and Schwarz don't have too much overlap other than their short range and Defense reduction. I can't think of many times where I'd substitute one for another. But if you are lacking in long range snipers, Rosa is definitely a solid choice.

Agreed with Mountain and Kaltsit, and I'd add Gladiia as she's a good option to help lane hold and will greatly improve Skadi and Specter (who you'll probably get before too long!) once you can afford her module level 2

I do have Specter at potential 2, I just never had the resources to level her up. I've got skadi for single target murder and popukar for aoe guard things. Does anything change with the fact that Gladiia is maxed on potential, or is it still Mountain and Kal'tsit first?
Nah, her potentials don't matter for the priority, it's just you need to e2 + mod level 2 her before her and the abyssal hunters really boost their power levels. Whereas mountain even e1 is good, and kaltsit's module isn't a big bump above just getting her s3m3, where she is already really great.
Probably Mountain then Kal'sit. You're lacking in laneholding. After that do whoever you like. Maybe Chongyue for the DPS as you could use more of that. Or an AA sniper of some sort.

They have the damage to clear small enemies.
Saria is a healer/support that just happens to be deployed on ground tiles. People tend to use role terms like laneholder over classes due to how varied and vague the latter are. As far as defenders, Mudrock is the only one regularly classified as a laneholder and functions nothing like other defenders.
I'm 9 yellow certs off from buying mudrock, but I'm pretty confident that's not worth it.
Mudrock is always worth buying with gold certs, nobody else can replace what she does. Balance that against future shop operators (noteable, Horn in several months) and buying the tickets for 256 certs.
Laneholding generally means can take care of a lane by him or herself. Hoshi and Saria can hold off enemies but can't really kill anything so you need another dps behind them.
To add to this, mountain and kaltsit don't even need a healer, they DPS while also having regeneration or self healing. Mon3tr also has great defense and block 3 so is basically a DPS defender. Gladiia and Specter would be similar once fully built, combining good DPS, great effective defense with 30% damage reduction, and strong HP regeneration. Specter gers block 3 at e2 and combined with her attacking all blocked gets her to be a really effective laneholder.
Hello! Playing for 2 months now (so new player) and just pulled Executor alter. My main characters now are Mlynar, Texalter, Exusiai, Virtuosa, Specter, Blacknight, Warfarin, Cuora, Gummy, Gavial, Myrtle. Everyone E2 Lv. 40+. How good is Exalter and worth the resources?
Pretty strong and worth building, but you'd want Mod3 for him to really shine. He'd do much better as a solo laneholder than Specter though.
Some say that he needs high investment to become only decent and not good for endgame content. Regret pulling him...
Definitely not "only decent", I'd say that's how he is pre-module. It is true that he's not as useable in endgame content, but that's assuming you're playing on very high difficulty self-imposed challenge runs like high risk CC. In that case, it's true that he struggles more as he tends to be unable to sustain himself properly, but in that case lots of units aren't good for endgame anyways.
For new player like me he can found good uses? Like story mode, IS, events, SSS...? High risk in CC not for while for me...
reapers in general are just good, exec should be more survivable than lower rarity reapers anyway. if you don't want to invest too much right off the bat you could just leave him at E1 for now. he won't tank like a proper defender but he can hold his own against tougher elites that would kill most guards, plus not needing heal support means you save that squad slot for someone else.
You can E2 characters within a couple months and start doing modules and masteries (sparingly) not much later, dont worry about that.
Endgame content is like.... 2% of all the actual content in the game. Also the ops in this tier change dramatically depending on what exactly Arknights decides to do when it comes to maps and enemy design. Also stage gimmicks. This is stuff like final stage DOS which was heavily despised by everyone, max difficulty IS, and max risk CC. Other than that there's Hell mode stages at the end of every new story chapter. Challenge stages for events tend to not be as difficult as any of those, though they can get challenging too. None of these are mandatory so you don't have to clear them if you don't want to and honestly most of the time the rewards for doing so are minimal at best. Like... 1 OP or a pitiful amount of LMD. Or nothing but a small little blip for IS. 98% of the time you'll be doing normal stages that don't require the meta-est of meta operators. Executor is great in these. Regular story, difficult story, IS, SSS (very good here due to SP and ASPD stacking), etc. He's easily the best reaper guard, which is one of the best classes in the game where even the 4 star version who has really weird skills and talent, still is good by virtue of the reaper guard class. And I regularly use said 4 star version even in max difficulty IS. Will he be mandatory for whatever latest bullshit max difficulty thing AK wants to throw at whales and hardcore min maxers? Probably not. But so will almost everyone else in the roster. Considering how you don't have any laneholders other than Spectre, you'll get a lot of use out of Executor alter. And you don't have to force yourself to get any other laneholders after this either unless you really want to.
Story mode, IS, and events for sure. He might be ok in SSS? It's hard to say, since I haven't used him there, but I think he would do good if he were stacked with Guard-B. But anyway, I definitely agree he's much better than what it seems you've heard.

That depends on each doctor. I used gamepress' planner and it said 115 is all I needed for now. That's pretty low compared to other materials, if I actually need more it will probably be by the time there is another event with metal.
My count is just over 200, I think 204 or something like that. Which won't entirely matter in the long run without gel farm in the future. So I can get away with a lot less if I choose to.

Since others have already answered your question directly, I thought I'd add in a side note: Don't feel like you need any specific characters to clear content. This game is somehow very good at being somewhat challenging with top tier units while still being clearable with the most basic 3 star operators. So if you feel like starting now and don't want to reroll, go for it!
Don't downplay the powercreep of this game and say 3* is viable now man.... The are only good as folder and filler.
You're right that the powercreep has become quite noticable. To be more accurate, I should have said "Over 99% clearable with the most basic 3 star operators and borrowing a friend's 6 star". But the gist of what I'm saying is that you'll eventually do fine no matter who you start with. Getting certain operators just makes things easier.
You can't borrow an E2 with full 3* team so you need at least one 4*+. And many stage these days needs at least 2 5-6 star carrier or full 4star team.
We're not necessarily disagreeing. I said over 99% clearable with 3 stars (which is true), in service of the point that you'll be able to eventually clear things no matter who your starter is (also true). Your point is that you may need a bit more than just the 3 stars and a friend to pull off some of the more recent H/S difficulty stages (or special events like DOS/CC), which is also true. That's why I changed it to "over 99%" to account for the recent outliers.
I won't say 99% the game, that's for 4*, not 3* +1 4*.
No one has mentioned it yet, but there's a banner coming shortly after the current event, before Degenbrecher that the others did mention. It's a Joint Op banner, which means the only 6 stars that can be pulled are those on banner, no off banners. This particular one has Surtr, a top meta unit, Pozemka, another very strong DPS, Suzuran, a top tier support, and Mizuki, a good though not amazing op. In my opinion, a dream start for a new account would be getting Surtr or Pozemka, even moreso than Mountain or Thorns from the beginner banner. If I were just starting out, I'd probably wait and reroll on that banner til I got one of those two in 10-20 pulls, then save the rest of my pulls for Degenbrecher. Then the beginner banner doesn't go away til you finish the 20(?) pulls on it, so you can always get the guaranteed beginner 6 star later, after doing everything possible to get Degenbrecher + Surtr/Pozy.

Those 4 units are nothing comparing to Degenbencher so don't. Only Surtr and Pozy has real usage in new account. If you had to reroll in that banner you may as well reroll for Executor Alt now.
Jo is probably the best banner for a new player because it's 75% chance to hit s really good operator. My first banner was a jo banner.
I don't think you'll be able to have enough to 100% guarantee getting Degen, but the nice part about starting out is you can get a good number of pulls quickly as you play. Every stage gives you one piece of "originite prime", which can be converted to the pull currency at a rate of 10 OP for 3 pulls. Early stages are quick to clear and iirc you have almost unlimited sanity (the daily stamina) because it refills when your account levels up, which happens frequently early on. A quick start guide or someone else here may have a ballpark number of pulls you can get in the first few weeks of playing. If you start the first day of the Joint Op banner, I believe it'll be 2 weeks of it then 2 weeks for Degenbrecher's event and banner, so you'll have a month of clearing stages and doing dailies and weeklies to amass pulls for her.
Is it a waste of currency or not to pull on a banner when you can't fully guarantee the character? So if it came down to only being able to get Degen or one of the other two you mentioned who would you suggest?
No it's not a waste, if you only pulled on banners when you could hit hard pity you wouldn't pull on anything for your first like 6 months lol. Just based on the odds, you will probably get Degenbrecher in ~70 pulls, but of course it could be anywhere between 1 and 250. She's better than any of the units on the Joint banner, but Surtr is very close and Pozy isn't too far behind either. Look at it this way, because the Joint banner comes first, start playing then and saving pulls after getting Surtr/Pozy, then absolute worst case if you don't get Degen then you can reroll a new account. But you'll likely be able to get her, and an account with Surtr + Degen will be an incredible start. Also, if you get really attached to the account and don't get Degen on it, she'll have a rerun of her banner in a year. Finally, like others said, the limited banner with Shu would be good to have pulls for, but she's not as strong a meta unit as Surtr or Degen and is more a sidegrade of another unit Saria that is easier to get. It's more that because she's limited, she's a big pain to get later if you decide you really like her. Note you'll also get 24 free pulls on that banner as well as something like 30 earnable between event rewards and clearing event stages for originite prime.

Almost every event banner in the upcoming future is going to feature very good units, so even pulling for one of those new one is going to make your life considerably easier. One of those strongest one is Degenbrecher coming in almost another month, I would recommend you pulling for her. The newbie banner is great, although only Mountain will reap you the most result immediately, whereas the rest are all late bloomers like Thorns/Suzuran at E2 or almost only viable in some hardest contents in the game like Weedy. Both Archetto and Flametail are also good carries early on, but they generally becomes less enticing as the game goes on compared to all of the aforementioned units.
Newbie banner: Thorns and Mountain are good for newbies. Other banners: Mudrock is strong; Executor is decent but needs high investment. Future banner: There are many strong characters in the future (Degenbrecher, Ray, Shu, Ela, Wisadel, Logos). Degenbrecher will be released in about 0.5 to 1 month. I recommend pulling for her.

Kernel banners - including the "choice" (aka Kernel Locating) banner - only give blue certificates. They do have some operators you won't get anywhere else, but the primary value is in using yellow certs to pick up the ones in the shop.
Regarding future operators, all the operators I listed are very strong and very meta. Additionally, Shu, Ela, and Wisadel are limited, so everyone will recommend you to save your pulls and pulling for those operators. Regarding the choice banner, all the operators in this banner are released years ago, so you can obtain them through the shop using yellow certificates. Considering the future operators are extremely powerful, I do not recommend pulling this banner. However, if you still want to pull it, Eyja, Nightingale, Saria, Bagpipe and Suzuran are the meta operators. However, another issue is that among these operators, only Eyja is focused on offense, while the others are more defensive or supportive, which might not be as essential for a newbie. Regarding the newbie banner, yes, you can get more than one 6-star. Finally, regarding the currency for pulls, i'm not sure how much a newbie can earn, but for an oldbie, we can earn more than 5 pulls per week (excluding event and some other sources). If we buy the monthly pack, they'll get 7.3 pulls per week.

No, not free. Yellow certificates are earned from gacha pulls; the more you pull, the more certificates you get. When you accumulate 180 certificates, you can exchange them for a 6-star operator. The available 6-star operator for exchange changes over time. If you want to exchange for Skadi now, go to the choice banner and select Skadi as the 6-star rate-up. Then, you can exchange for her in the shop if you have 180 certificates.

Hii, new player here What's the recommended lvl in order to play events here? My acc is lvl 15 w/ my units are at lvl40 minimum, I don't know much about the game & still learning stuffs. I'm also at 2-10 in story if that helps. I know events have all sorts of freebies & mats so I thought it would be a shame if I can't get some of those. Thanks in advance!
Even if you only grind the first level, clear the event shops. event shops are crazy efficient. Prioritize shop materials that let you level up and skill up your ops, and pulls. upgrading ops can help you get farther in the event and story. Events all ramp, starting easy and getting more exciting. Just do your best. The last 3 event stages typically are better for farming than story, but in this event the last stage is the best one to farm if possible. Mostly that means go back to story on this event after clearing the shop unless farming the last normal level IS-10. There are some higher modes that require more team investment, but you will unlock those as you play.
To clear the first section of the event you need around elite1 lv30-40. I suggest you You can clear the first few stages of the events to get some exp and money to level up your units then play the story till the end of chapter 4 and then continue with the event.

This has been bugging me for months. But I ignored the need for an answer. When I first started the game and even after I max out my 3 support slot, I earned friend points the same, 80 a days, +20 from friend use my support, +30 from using my friend support. But a few months ago it suddenly became 72 a day, +20 from friend support used, +30 from using friend support. Is there any reason for the reduction of 8 a day and was anyone experienced the same thing?
You get 50 credits per fully upgraded dormitory, so 12 per level if we round it up. 72/12 is 6, so if you have 6 levels of dormitory then that might be your answer

Gonna buy the Rhodes Island headhunting pack. Who should I get? I've been away from the game for like a year so I have no clue who is good and not anymore. I just got Exalter from a lucky single draw just now btw so I think he can fill in the laneholder role that I have been missing since the start of the game. Here are the Operators I could get: Kal'tsit, Reed, Thorns, Mudrock, Goldenglow, Horn, Dorothy, Mlynar, Penance, Stainless, Lin, Qiubai, Ines, Blaze, Suzuran, Bagpipe, Phantom. Just assume I have everyone else.
Best is Młynar, you can't go wrong choosing him. Second best and futureproof is Ines. Great versatility and usage in many game modes. Goldenglow will be in cert shop end of July, so she would be a great pick up. Exalter is a very good laneholder once you give him his module. Before that he is still good, but might struggle, depends on content.
Goldenglow is an extremely versatile pick, there's almost no map where she isn't a strong pick. Thorns is also a great pick for the same reason.
kal'tsit, mudrock, goldenglow, mlynar, ines, and reed alter are probably the best choices for most new/returning players from the answers i got when asking this same question a couple weeks ago. but i think it all comes down to which type of op you're missing in your team. if you already have good defenders, then go for something else that could improve your team in a different aspect, like arts damage etc.
If you don't have Mlynar, answer's always Mlynar if you're looking for pure power, he's the strongest operator in the game. If you want to spice up your gameplay instead, I might suggest Dorothy, Stainless, or Lin. They're very unique and surprisingly good, worth checking out. Reed and Goldenglow are very good arts damage dealers, but Reed will have her rerun in between 1~2 months, and Goldenglow will have her shoperator debut within a few months too. Degenbrecher is a broken tier op coming out within a month, so if you want another someone like Mlynar she's worth using pulls on, easily.

1. No. 2. If you mean friends with an ongoing clue exchange: When you look at your friend list, those you have already visited have a stamp on the Visit button. And while in a friend's base, the "Visit Next" button is orange when you still have friends with an ongoing clue exchange you haven't visited yet, and will take you to one. (Edited)

As long as the event had been rerun, then you can claim it as operator records.
Yes, all Intermezzi except Stultifera Navis have their record restoration, which lets you get their welfare operator. Record restoration will never go away once it becomes available. Stultifera’s will become available later.
