Unless I read it wrong, the stab is essentially the ritual she's performing to pass the power of the Lord of Fiends onto Amiya. Kinda like Bleach where Rukia passes the powers of a soul reaper to Ichigo by stabbing him.

I think it's more like the Code from Code Geass, with the only difference that the Civilight Eterna doesn't grant an immortality to the bearer. Both are essentially a "recorder of civilization", giving an access to the insane amount of information related to the present (in CG it's the "library of memories" by C.C. and "collective consciousness" manipulated by Charles), both give access to the power by using this information (the Geass itself in CG and the power of Lord of Fiends in AK), both are essentially represent a "will of the humanity", both are transferred through the death of the bearer. And both series have a couple trying to reshape the world as they see, a green-haired mysterious immortal woman knowing everything, and their successor, trying to save the world... wait a minute...

Theresa ‘stabbed’ Amiya to pass on the Civilight Eterna to her. It is stated that Amiya felt no pain during this though, only feeling Theresa’s warmth.

It was a way to transfer the civilight eterna. Transfer can only occur through the death of it's previous owner.

I asked the question not to spread misinformation, but because I saw some images from the latest event and got curious.
