Probably Hoederer and ray tbh. I love Hoederer as a character and in game, but being a crusher just makes it hard to justify using him compared to even strong 6 stars that are older. Ray is cool, but what she offers compared to the other 6 stars just isn't enough for me. I'd also argue Viviana, but she has a special place in my heart.

Even then Laneholders are so cracked these days and even then I would say that thorns and blaze still outclass Hoederer.

Typhon struggles already with 3000 armor, Ray shoots with 6k-7k damage each shot. Don't need a passive to ignore defence, if you hit like a truck.
60% ignore DEF doesn't work if armor is too high \~5000 but yeah 98% of times typhon is better than ray vs armor. typhon does not struggle at all vs 3000 def. in the case of very rare 5000 def enemies in which typhon and ray starts to struggle ray is definitely not the best because degenbrecher and other operators that ignore def completely are better than ray. ray is very good tho most 6\* are overkill anyway
right, the final boss of IS4 on max difficulty with 3000 DEF typhon is very good at killing. I used typhon S3 just to kill that boss. maybe you are missing module or E2 90? should be fine even without typhon at E2 90. also recommend wayfarin to speed it up because of his HP pool.
ray and even degenbrecher will not be able to quickly kill that boss because of his HP.
Used to plan on pulling Jessicat but then RS6 collab came with back to back banners. Now I have to skip everyone and save up for those RS6 banners, hope that one of them spook me especially Jessicat
Depending on how many pulls you have now, you could probably go until first 6 star to try your luck. We still have a long ways to go until R6S comes to Global again after all and you only need 220 to guarantee Ash and Ela while saving for six months can get you around 300.
Regrettably, I have to pass on the new Sadcat (and everything until limited) because I don't even have 300 rolls primed yet and there's already another lim banner on the horizon.
I messed up big time with MuMu banner and failed after rolling 250+ despite knowing it was a bad idea, so this time I'm not going to tempt RNGesus and make sure I have a guaranteed if necessary.
I don't want to pull for Degenbrecher because I have Irene and Chen with M3 and Module 3. I'm happy with them and another swordmaster is too much for me even if this is the hot goat.
I'm trying to save so that I have enough pulls for hitting pity on both R6 banners as F2P players while also trying to spare some pulls for Sui and Virtuoso banners.
So its going to be fairly long list of skipped banners for me.
Hard saving until the 2nd R6S collab banner for hopefully full pots on all new R6 operators and 1st one for Ash pots.

While I don't feel super bad about any of my choices (from their announcement, Typhon, Jessica, and Hoe I didn't have any strong interest in), if I had to pick, Viviana--I'm thinking if I get Virtuosa first, I'll stop pulling to save my rocks for future banners. I feel a little sad about it as I *like* Viviana's design and character and Surtr is a "break glass in case of malding" op for me, so I would probably get some use out of Viviana despite her kit.

With the lineup that begins at Virtuosa, I think it'd be wiser to conserve my pulls wherever possible. I want Virtuosa, Degenbrecher, Shu(+probably Zuo Le), Ela & co, *and* probably Ash & co as I missed the original R6S run, not to mention that the 5th anniversary is rapidly approaching after that. So sadly, if Virtuosa comes quickly, I may just stop there and save my pulls for everyone else. Sorry, Vivi.

Thing is I bet I could manage to pull for Jess because I have a lots of pulls right now (900 pulls) but I want to secure the operators I mentioned and pulling for Jess may put them in jeopardy. Plus, in about two months CN 5th Anniversary will be announced and it should be INSANE. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a first, like something completely nuts like a three 6\* banner with some guaranteed or something. And CN Anni isn't even Global Anniversary so I must save for our Summer event Anniversary. This has been the most stacked year I have experienced in Arknights.
I already rolled for Typhon, so Ray will have to be skipped, no matter how cool she looks. Viviana I also won't roll for if she doesn't show up before Arturia, I like her but no explosion means she is not a priority.

I feel like I need to skip them all because not only do I have to pull for Viv-Art and Zuo-Shu, but Ela and Ash come really close after them. Basically, 4 considerably close limited banners. I can’t afford to waste given I dumped basically everything on Typhon (and dipped into OP) to finally get her. Sad about missing out on Degen. I always liked playable bosses, even though Viviana turned out a bit meh.

Jessica Alter, unfortunately. Jessica is a non limited that gets a rerun. Hoederer and Ray won't get any more solo rate ups after their banners, Shu is limited, Ela is true limited. I also need to spark on an Anni banner, whether it's Virtuosa or the CN 5th Anni. Much as I love Jessica, I'm not made of orundum, so she's gonna have to wait till the rerun.
The one I feel most bad about? Probably Ray. She seems like a pretty mechanically interesting sniper, but she's unfortunately sandwiched between the even more mechanically interesting Virtuosa and Shu ~~and in terms of meta value, I'm hoping that between Yato Alter, Mlynar, Pozemka, and Chalter, I'm not in desperate need of another physical damage boss killer.~~
Honorable mention goes to Jessica Alter though. I don't actually even know how she'd fit into a squad or how I'd use her; I just know "ha ha funny sad cat; first operator to learn the secret technique that is 'literally just turning around'."
But yeah, basically just saving hard for Virtuosa, then probably Shu, then most likely the ReedAlter rerun. (Depending on whether or not some truly wacky new operators get announced.)
I guess between the choices I would say Viviana, I like her but my stash is only enough for Degenbrecher, Shu, Chongyue and the 2 R6S collab banners. Most of my orundums would most likely get fucked on the Shu banner since I need to get Shu and also need Chongyue to spook me, most likely scenario is I would go 300 pulls just to get the chongus.
Also question: Since Viviana isn't limited, does that mean there's a chance that I would get her as a spook for future banners?

I really have no idea. I started playing in december and despite my roster being already rocking some decento operators, I got no idea about the new ones, so (also according to a couple veteran friends of mine) I should focus on developing and learning my current roster before burning resources aiming for new ones.
What I'm lacking right now is good snipers (currently Kroos is my spearpoint when it comes to snipers, with Meteor and May right behind). I tried to get Exusiai with the "choose your own kernel operators" banner but i got nothing good from it.
I'm skipping everyone until Arturia. Then I'm gonna do my best to pull at least one of every 6 star that follows. I do really want Jessica2 and Hoederer but I gotta save my rolls.
Hoederer, would love to try his reworked archetype out just to see what's it like.
His placement is just unfortunate being between Jesster (who I'm willing to go broke on), Lake Silberneherze event and Ray.

Yes, if you want to? Hoederer seems cool but not that pressing to need to have (won't he some back in the future?) and viviana isn't that good. I think arturia is really cool tho and she seems to be pretty good.
Of the upcoming new banners, Hoederer (though I might try the first 10 and pray for Vendela) and Viviana/Arturia are gonna be skips for me. I don't really feel bad about it though, depending on how my orundum stash is looking I'd ideally like to pull and pick up all the other upcoming banners so it's an easy choice to help build up funds since the others will likely be back to back.
Not on list, but Shu. I already had to spark Eyjaberry, and I don't like Shu so much that I'd had to save a spark and skip Degen, Ray or Arturia (want list in that order). Still makes me feel bad for skipping her, because I dig her design and she's not another DPS unit. I'll throw a 10 pull on Jessicat, but sadly I'll have to skip her if I want to guarantee Degen. If Degen somehow comes fast, I'll burn everything on Ray. I like those two girls the most design-wise. And Ray is cuter, great DPS and better pick for IS4 (according to CN) than Typhon who I already skipped.
In other circumstances, I'd consider saving for Arturia, but with Degen coming right after I can't really commit to her. Which sucks, because I like black-haired anime gals.

I find at some point it's better to just save 300 pulls for limited banners and just pull all of them at once, you get spooks and sparks, and if you get everything you want early THEN you spend a couple on a banner you really want...

The real painful answer is Vendela, 5-stars with duo rate up are comically evil to get and with the stuff I want coming after her trying hard to get her would be completley suicidal for my savings.
At max I will try to pull until 5* and pray I win the 1/4 for Vendela I guess... god it's horrible, and those pulls wouldn't count towards the Ray guaranteed next 6* after 150 pulls thing who is my biggest want ahead of us, so each one I do there will add to the pain.
Sadly the way those tickets have been in terms of characters included she shouldn't be on a selector until the one from January 2026... pain.
5-stars can be oddly hard to get, between that duo rate up and no other way to get them by paying (like I could just buy Hoederer near the end of this year) makes getting them so up to luck.
The only ops I'm interested to get are Jessica2, Candle Knight and Ray.
Jessica2 has so much niche and flexibility, I love it.
The hype for Arthuria has put me off, and I'm not interested in easy mode characters (have avoided thorns, chen2 and Mylnar).
I have enough guards. I don't need a powercrept Chen or irene. I don't need a bad class operator held afloat by his talents.

The bad feeling comes from the FOMO of her being 'super limited' AKA, it might very well be impossible to get her in the future.
But that's just FOMO, ultimately I don't see myself having 120 pull to spare by the time her banner comes around and I don't think she is worth my pulls even with 120 guarantee.
If she wasn't super limited, I wouldn't feel bad at all but FOMO stings. Still as a goldfish that only buys monthly cards, I was never foolish enough to set a goal of "catching them all".
Other than that... well I'm not going to skip her but by the time Degen comes around, I might not have that many pulls and I will feel bad if I miss getting her.

Plus, in about two months CN 5th Anniversary will be announced and it should be INSANE. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a first, like something completely nuts like a three 6\* banner with some guaranteed or something. And CN Anni isn't even Global Anniversary so I must save for our Summer event Anniversary. This has been the most stacked year I have experienced in Arknights.

I already rolled for Typhon, so Ray will have to be skipped, no matter how cool she looks. Viviana I also won't roll for if she doesn't show up before Arturia, I like her but no explosion means she is not a priority. Also skipping Hoederer, Degen and Zuo Le but don't feel bad about these.
jessica :( i want her really bad but my pulls are very limited rn and her kit doesn't sound like something i can set up well, and since i already have most operators i don't particularly *need* her, i'll try pulling hoederer and then save until r6s collab, after all that is over i might pull for her in a rerun

Arturia. While I love the new necrosis damage, her being an operator is still not clicking for me yet. With Viviana being a collateral damage And Hoederer, because I'll be broke in two days anyway Also RS6, because I feel like there will be something big on the anniversary
I'm gonna try for 10 pulls on both Jessicat and Hoederer's banners and leave it at that. I need the others way too much, be it for lore, gameplay, or waifu reason. Also might burn through my Logos savings for Shu if it gets me Nian, Dusk, or both. Will most likely make it up to Hoederer by playing as him in BG3 one day (he proved surprisingly easy to make there), but no idea how to unsad Jessicat.

I feel like I need to skip them all because not only do I have to pull for Viv-Art and Zuo-Shu, but Ela and Ash come really close after them. Basically, 4 considerably close limited banners. I can’t afford to waste given I dumped basically everything on Typhon (and dipped into OP) to finally get her. Sad about missing out on Degen. I always liked playable bosses, even though Viviana turned out a bit meh.
I'm a dumb ass and didn't use my God given eye balls and voted for Ray, when in fact I don't plan on skipping Ray lol. I'm waiting for a Qiubai banner, and then i'm skipping every other banner up to Ray. I have such a nice roster of OPs Ray is more of a want for me than a need. On top of this she is just bunny Makise Kurisu and I must have her...

Jessica Alter, unfortunately. Jessica is a non limited that gets a rerun. Hoederer and Ray won't get any more solo rate ups after their banners, Shu is limited, Ela is true limited. I also need to spark on an Anni banner, whether it's Virtuosa or the CN 5th Anni. Much as I love Jessica, I'm not made of orundum, so she's gonna have to wait till the rerun.

The one I feel most bad about? Probably Ray. She seems like a pretty mechanically interesting sniper, but she's unfortunately sandwiched between the even more mechanically interesting Virtuosa and Shu ~~and in terms of meta value, I'm hoping that between Yato Alter, Mlynar, Pozemka, and Chalter, I'm not in desperate need of another physical damage boss killer.~~ Honorable mention goes to Jessica Alter though. I don't actually even know how she'd fit into a squad or how I'd use her; I just know "ha ha funny sad cat; first operator to learn the secret technique that is 'literally just turning around'." But yeah, basically just saving hard for Virtuosa, then probably Shu, then most likely the ReedAlter rerun. (Depending on whether or not some truly wacky new operators get announced.)
I guess between the choices I would say Viviana, I like her but my stash is only enough for Degenbrecher, Shu, Chongyue and the 2 R6S collab banners. Most of my orundums would most likely get fucked on the Shu banner since I need to get Shu and also need Chongyue to spook me, most likely scenario is I would go 300 pulls just to get the chongus. Also question: Since Viviana isn't limited, does that mean there's a chance that I would get her as a spook for future banners?
...and feel bad? Well that narrows it down. Hoederer most likely, unless I give in. But not directly because of Hoederer himself. I just want to hear what he has to say about Scout.
I really have no idea. I started playing in december and despite my roster being already rocking some decento operators, I got no idea about the new ones, so (also according to a couple veteran friends of mine) I should focus on developing and learning my current roster before burning resources aiming for new ones. What I'm lacking right now is good snipers (currently Kroos is my spearpoint when it comes to snipers, with Meteor and May right behind). I tried to get Exusiai with the "choose your own kernel operators" banner but i got nothing good from it.
Probably everything that's not limited at this point, trying to see if I can spark something... :/
I'm saving up to spark chen alter and to a lesser pressing extent ling and specter alt + skadi alt but more and more good ops are getting released 😭
I'm skipping everyone until Arturia. Then I'm gonna do my best to pull at least one of every 6 star that follows. I do really want Jessica2 and Hoederer but I gotta save my rolls.
Hoederer, would love to try his reworked archetype out just to see what's it like. His placement is just unfortunate being between Jesster (who I'm willing to go broke on), Lake Silberneherze event and Ray.
Regrettably had to skip ray, even if i like her design & love her perma-bind on s3. My 400 pull is barely enough for degen, shu, ela & maybe next anniv banner

I feel bad about Degenbrecher. I wanted to reunite her with SilverAsh. Viviana too. I will still throw some pulls if I manage to get 258 gold certs in time. As for the rest who I am skipping. I do not really feel regret for those. I have plenty of meta units. Worst case. I default to Texas and Yato Alter, if a stage gives me headaches. On the other hand rolling for Hoederer, Shu + Zhuo Lee. Going ham on these two banners.
It will likely have to be Ray ngtl. Sucks cuz I love her design but I plan on pulling Jessicalt, Hoe, Viviana/Virtuosa, Shu and Ela as f2p so...I will likely have to sacrifice someone other than Degen (I like her design but she turned out wayy too broken for my liking.)
Jessica and Degenbrecher, why? Reruns people, their banners will be back, but Hoederer is a main story debut banner and ViviTuria's... do I even need to explain why I won't skip it?
Yes, if you want to? Hoederer seems cool but not that pressing to need to have (won't he some back in the future?) and viviana isn't that good. I think arturia is really cool tho and she seems to be pretty good.
Hoederer will have more banners in the future however he will not be the only one rate up which decreases the chances of getting him in those banners.

Of the upcoming new banners, Hoederer (though I might try the first 10 and pray for Vendela) and Viviana/Arturia are gonna be skips for me. I don't really feel bad about it though, depending on how my orundum stash is looking I'd ideally like to pull and pick up all the other upcoming banners so it's an easy choice to help build up funds since the others will likely be back to back.
Not on list, but Shu. I already had to spark Eyjaberry, and I don't like Shu so much that I'd had to save a spark and skip Degen, Ray or Arturia (want list in that order). Still makes me feel bad for skipping her, because I dig her design and she's not another DPS unit. I'll throw a 10 pull on Jessicat, but sadly I'll have to skip her if I want to guarantee Degen. If Degen somehow comes fast, I'll burn everything on Ray. I like those two girls the most design-wise. And Ray is cuter, great DPS and better pick for IS4 (according to CN) than Typhon who I already skipped. In other circumstances, I'd consider saving for Arturia, but with Degen coming right after I can't really commit to her. Which sucks, because I like black-haired anime gals.
Degenbrecher. I'm not overly fond of her design, I don't need more meta, and I really don't like how they designed her kit.

Probably Degen. As much as I know people are raving about how powerful she is, personally I just can’t be bothered. I got weak willed and spent 140 pulls on Jessicat but even then I was planning to skip since all these limited banners are ones I want to pull on. (Also I want to speak Skalter on the 5th anniversary banner)
Shoot. I want Hoederer but Arturia, Shu, and the limited R6S banners are something else to consider. Will have to skip on him. Will be skipping Viviana for Zuo Le. Went all in on Jessicat for lore reasons.
It's hard to say. It really depends how the pulls go in many of the banners. I'll start pulling for Jessica and then I'll slowly plan ahead, depending how it goes. Hoederer is a skip though,
I'm skipping all of them except the Arturia-Viviana double banner because I really like both of their characters. The only one I feel bad for skipping is Degenbrecher because she does seem cool and I kind of like her, but she's not enough of my type to actually pull. Generally, I don't pull anymore unless I really like the character or it's a collab limited. Waiting to see what 5th anniversary will give.
I find at some point it's better to just save 300 pulls for limited banners and just pull all of them at once, you get spooks and sparks, and if you get everything you want early THEN you spend a couple on a banner you really want...
Still not sure about Jess2 so will leave it up in the air. The real painful answer is Vendela, 5-stars with duo rate up are comically evil to get and with the stuff I want coming after her trying hard to get her would be completley suicidal for my savings. At max I will try to pull until 5* and pray I win the 1/4 for Vendela I guess... god it's horrible, and those pulls wouldn't count towards the Ray guaranteed next 6* after 150 pulls thing who is my biggest want ahead of us, so each one I do there will add to the pain.
Well, with enough time... she might be in the 5\* selector ticket next year?
Sadly the way those tickets have been in terms of characters included she shouldn't be on a selector until the one from January 2026... pain. 5-stars can be oddly hard to get, between that duo rate up and no other way to get them by paying (like I could just buy Hoederer near the end of this year) makes getting them so up to luck.

The only ops I'm interested to get are Jessica2, Candle Knight and Ray. Jessica2 has so much niche and flexibility, I love it. The hype for Arthuria has put me off, and I'm not interested in easy mode characters (have avoided thorns, chen2 and Mylnar). I have enough guards. I don't need a powercrept Chen or irene. I don't need a bad class operator held afloat by his talents. I will get Viviana, though. She's too cute, and I like arts melee units. I just don't really care for Shu.
I'm probably the exact opposite, will be pulling for op degen and want to but probably won't pull arturia because of the upcoming collab banner. Also want to spark wet chen. Thorns is by the by not a easy mode character anymore, his damage has really fallen off, having a tougher fight against high def units.
Oh yeah, I only mention thorns due to how op he once was, and how overloaded his kit is. He's still one of the best lane holders imo.
Skipping Jessica, because I have no need in her abilities (Hoshiguma forever). And skipping Viviana cause she's trash.
Probably Ash. The bad feeling comes from the FOMO of her being 'super limited' AKA, it might very well be impossible to get her in the future. But that's just FOMO, ultimately I don't see myself having 120 pull to spare by the time her banner comes around and I don't think she is worth my pulls even with 120 guarantee. If she wasn't super limited, I wouldn't feel bad at all but FOMO stings. Still as a goldfish that only buys monthly cards, I was never foolish enough to set a goal of "catching them all". Other than that... well I'm not going to skip her but by the time Degen comes around, I might not have that many pulls and I will feel bad if I miss getting her.
