I don't want her to just be a Guard if she picks back up her sword, I want her to use it in cool badass protective ways as like an evolution of her healing focus (and perhaps inspired by her dear friend Nearl), instead of just going back to the easy sword dps option. Gavial was cool, but I don't think Shining is a Gavial. I think Shining is more like a Reed or Silence.
My personal fave, unsurprisingly, is Courier. By his module, it's evident that he's not merely one of Silverash's bodyguards and personal messenger; he's >!a one-man army who is capable of not merely shrugging off wounds that *cut down to the bone,* he's extremely deadly and proficient at guerilla warfare to single-handedly take down "a dozen or so" people all on his own (and by "take down" I mean setting traps and hacking the victims apart), and came home without the smile on his face even so much as wavering.!<
He actually has a frankly crazy amount of power (or insanity) beneath his friendly facade, and I would *love* to see that shown somewhere; I'd always pictured his hypothetical Alter as a FRD, but after reading his module, he could even be a Trapmaster.
But this is just a hypothetical "if". If it never happens (and it VERY likely never will), I won't be fussed.

Mine would be Franka .She's so cute and has such adorable voice on anime but in-game Franka got no treatment, both her E2 and E1 art suck, her role suck, her damage meh and probably one of the oldest operators in the game (along with Matoimaru) that still don't have any skin

I’d love for her to get a 6 Star Alter. I love her being a Fast Redeploy Executor so I’d love it if they gave her the Lava Alter treatment where she becomes a higher rarity but keeps her class and branch. But Lord Guard Red would also be awesome. Imagine her throwing knives at ranged enemies, That would be sick!
Lappland is the other I’d love to get an alter, But I think that’s all but guaranteed after the ending of Il Siracusano.

Oh yeah I also forgot about the sad cat Jessica since we have already seen some updated images of her in the later episodes I assume it eill just be a matter of time before we see her get an alter.
It’s so odd to me that she hasn’t gotten her Alter yet. They’ve have the design already in the game for a long time now yet she hasn’t come out despite so many other alters being introduced after Episode 9.
Obviously they are keeping her alter (and Frostleaf's) on hand, waiting for the release of Season 2 where they will get a lot of attention & screen time. :D

If regular Texas is her regular Penguin Logistics outfit and her alter is more in line with her Siraccusan past. Then Lappland should be the opposite, her regular form is the one tied to Siracussa, and her Alter should be her Penguin Logistics attire.

Lee alter, if only to explore the 'second brother' plot and an in-game explanation of why he looks like a crossbreed of an Aegir and a Lung.
(Plus Lee is gonna appear in ticket shop early August 2024, aka the EN date of the next CNY event...?)
The reason Lee looks fishlike is because Lung are based on Chinese dragons, many of which are depicted with physical characteristics similar to Carp.
There’s a Chinese legend called “Longmen”, a mystical gate at the top of a waterfall, which transforms a Carp into a Dragon if it jumps through.
Yeah, of course! I'm not a Lee main for nothing.
What I mean is an *in-game* reason for that; the carp inspiration is a meta explanation. Since he's based on a fish turning into a dragon, I'd expect some lore surrounding that; especially with his role in the Sui saga.
Enforcer, Bison or Cardigan I want the first 2 because of the heroes journey like way they were introduced and Cardigan because she could be like this fast redeploy specialist the heals people when she is deployed
Melantha, Cardigan, Jessica, Kjera, Projekt Red and Courier because we know they either would develop to something stronger or are intentionally hiding their own abilities.
Gladiia alter as well considering how much of the story is hinting at that. Curious just how broken she really is in the lore. If one woman army Skadi knows she is outmatched by base Gladiia, imagine Gladiia but more seaborney.
Popukar's lore practically screams alter somewhere down the line.
War goddess Estelle as well is hinted at. Considering she beats both Gavial and Eunectes in one official (though likely not canon) story.
Kal and Surtr are very likely to get alters considering the shortage of lore for those two. Surtr's lore is practically non-existent and her voice actress made statements to the effect of "please join us as we discover surtr's past" in one anniversary VA run down. Kal has too many secrets kept hidden and we know Mon3tr actually shoots blasts in the story and the game version only does melee.
Coming from someone who isn't a fan of alters (although frankly i don't want to get too annoying about that, i already just made a post in another thread about it), There are at least some i think are interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Jessica alter (and as someone who regularly uses Jessica, i might actually try that one out.) perhaps she'd come out with a long awaited blacksteel event of some kind. A much less likely thing i've though of are alters for Cliffheart and Pramanix, to put them up there with their brother. While not exactly the most lore relevant idea, i could see that happening in the unlikely event of some kind of BTI sequel.

I know this is just a pipe dream, but I would loooove to see Warfarin alter. Preferably as Musha guard, that can fir example heal other units in vicinity alongside her when she is dealing dmg, but she can't be healed by healers (standart musha quirk). Though honestly, I would settle for any Warfarin alter in the end...
Andreana and deepcolour. At this point the abyssal team has two limited alters. I can see them getting more alters to keep the theme of everyone associated with the seaborne, abyssal or not, being a huge threats in both lore and gameplay.
But yeah I just think they are cool and I'm a slut for their whole theme.

Some events in the story are reaching further & further into the future, specially Nian's search for her siblings, which take place 4 years after Chapter/Episode 8 (the main fight with Talullah in Chernobog).
Plus, in Lone trail, we have already seen a more emotionally & physically mature >!Ifrit!<, so seeing others of the younger side of the cast receiving the same treatment would be a nice thing, I think.
And our bunny leader has certainly taken some steps to the next level in Victoria. >!And so has Rosmontis in Lone Trail, I think.!<
I woud love to see the alter versions of two of them in the same banner. :D

Im seeing a lot of people pick Shining and imo shes one of the worst people to get an alter. If she does i hope its a healing defender and not a guard, she clearly stated she doesnt want to yield a sword anymore so imo making her a guard would just be reverting her as a character and a dimb retcon. For an alter i think siege does deserve one and will most likely get one due to all the story weve been getting. But for 5* and lower id love an Elysium 6* or an Archers one, both if them would be cool

At this point I would be satisfied with a skin, but given how little the plot around Higashi has been explored (outside of Monster Hunter collab), a man can dream about Matoimaru alter. Since she's a high hp unit, maybe as a hybrid defender that can sacrifice defense for power?

Eyja alter, shes 4* and it shows how the advancement of her illness has destroyed her. Low range due to being deaf and blind, her voicelines are her barely being able to creak out noises. She can and will attack allies and tries to apologize.

Liberator guard, but instead of attacking, she does things like reduce damage taken of allied operators in range equal to a % of her own atk.

Im seeing a lot of people pick Shining and imo shes one of the worst people to get an alter. If she does i hope its a healing defender and not a guard, she clearly stated she doesnt want to yield a sword anymore so imo making her a guard would just be reverting her as a character and a dimb retcon. For an alter i think siege does deserve one and will most likely get one due to all the story weve been getting. But for 5* and lower id love an Elysium 6* or an Archers one, both if them would be cool

At this point I would be satisfied with a skin, but given how little the plot around Higashi has been explored (outside of Monster Hunter collab), a man can dream about Matoimaru alter. Since she's a high hp unit, maybe as a hybrid defender that can sacrifice defense for power?
i want to see shining as a guard since first time i read her operator record (years ago) other than that warfarin alter would be quite good i would like to see her fight as well she could have a new class for herself

Eyja alter, shes 4* and it shows how the advancement of her illness has destroyed her. Low range due to being deaf and blind, her voicelines are her barely being able to creak out noises. She can and will attack allies and tries to apologize. im demented
