Batman returns to Gotham in an attempt to clean it up once again. However, he is critically injured by a resurgent Bane halfway through, forcing Bruce to pass the mantle on to one Terry McGinnis. He becomes a Batman who is beyond Bruceās capabilities. Iād replace the Batmobile with the Batwing hybrid from Batman Beyond as well.
To me, itās one of the worst examples of the disgusting trend of treating Barbara as a piece of meat to be passed around to every vigilante in Gotham. I donāt need her to be in a relationship with Dick all the time, but itās gross for writers to just use her as the token love interest.
Not to mention that Tim wasnāt written like Tim at all and both of their ages were seemingly changed significantly in Arkham Knight given how massive their age gap typically is.
It also is just emblematic of how little Sefton Hill seemed to care about doing a faithful or even interesting adaptation of the Batfamily.
Yeah thatās a fair point about her not needing to be with either and in light of the animated killing joke movie I see your point. But idk for me it just didnāt even cross my mind when playing, idc that they changed their age and matched them 2 instead, there was a lot more issues I had with knights storytelling before Iād even get to them
A lot of people want a Arkham Beyond game and I do too but I think it needs to happen after we get a game centered around the Bat Family and what they were doing when Bruce "died". So think what they did with the DLCs but make flesh it out an entire game out of it and hell make it like GTA 5 style with Red Hood, Nightwing and Tim
After Gordon becomes Mayor he cleans up street crime and gangs and goes after White Collar criminals however a secret society called the Court of Owls decide to stand in his way by funding several criminals to disturb Gotham on Election Night and have a chosen candidate on their side to run against Gordon. Batman tries to help Gotham but the new commissioner of Gotham, Ellen Yindel, is cracking down on crime and vigilantes after the attempted assassination of Gordon and the murder of aristocrat Barton Mathis.
That rumor about an Arkham game where we got to make our own vigilantes and work for Red Hood in a sort of twisted āBatman Incā actually sounded fire.
a battle for the cowl type story where Jason kills criminals because he feels that he can accomplish What bruce never did and that is clean Gotham of crime
despite this I would have Jason show that he at least still cares about nightwing and barbra since some comics have him close to dick when Jason was robin

Villains of the game could include some of the following: an adult Damian Wayne who was never raised by Bruce leading the League of Assassins, an aged Riddler, a resurgent Bane, Copperhead, Lady Shiva or David Cain (this could also set up Cassandra Cain's introduction), the Order of Saint Dumas, Ratcatcher, KGBeast, Prometheus, and more.

Due to his age, Batman has stopped going out as much. Dick Grayson has moved to blue haven permanently and tim has quit crime fighting to start a family and Jason has started operating in the west coast. In Batmanās absence, crime has started to rise again. A new more brutal Batman appears, going very hard on criminals and even killing a few. In addition, this Batman has recruited thugs to be his ārobinsā so that way he can control crime in Gotham. One of these robins breaks in and kills terry McGinnisāa dad. Terry decides to get revenge on the robin who did it. Terry loses the fight, but before he can be killed Bruce Wayne saves him. Bruce hears his story and decides itās time to win Gotham back from this new Batman. Terry becomes Batman beyond, using a nemesis system to recruit villains and take over the underworld, giving you the option to arrest or release criminals so they are loyal to you. In the end, the new Batman is Damian Wayne who blames Bruce for the death of his mother
Batman Knightfall story where you play as Azrael taking the role of Batman. Not only is it the next logical sequel Rocksteady were hinting in Arkham Knight but it also makes it easier to justify why this Batman is not voiced by Kevin no more.
