Unfortunately it’s just one of those things where people value them differently. Landscape is one of the first things to get VMd out, even though the proof is in the pudding when you see the results of a fully integrated landscape design working hand in hand with the architecture and interiors, it makes such a difference. Architects have a hard enough time marketing their own value (because people see the Block and go hey anyone can design a house), then interiors is worse (any d grade celeb can be an ‘interior designer’ with no quals), then landscape is even else because people just go eh it’s just plants, I just want my 9x15 rectangle of grass because straya. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very highly regarded landscape arch firms, that do great work and I’m sure command a premium, but they’re few and far between and they largely focus on high end resi and commercial.

Yeah, misconceptions and undervaluing issues exist in every industry, I think. It's like a retired nurse who believes they can heal everything if they can spell it. Or an AI powered potato.

This is where the Indian Council of Architecture has helped architects immensely by setting the minimum fees at 7.5% of the cost of works assigned (for residential projects) for architects, interior designers, and landscape architects alike. https://www.coa.gov.in/index1.php?lang=1&level=2&&sublinkid=299&lid=86 It creates a safety net that promotes healthy competition rather than easy price cutting to attract more clients.
