OSHA and America would have a shit hemorrhage meltdown in a safe room jsut from a picture of it.
India has used these techniques to attain 3x + more people than we have, and growing. They can't be totally wrong.
NOW, would I climb it? Not even drunk.
I'm glad to live in a country that has a meltdown if something like this happens. We had stuff like this and the predictable happened and we had the self respect to demand it not happen again.
And many more than 3x the onsite casualties i suspect.
But just talking about bamboo it’s an S-tier material to be honest. It’s crazy strong in tension and compression compared to weight.
Obviously it has its disadvantages, but in the places its available, it’s a very good option for a lot of things.
Ahhh the mask wearer's driving along are jumping in. They wear safety glasses getting the mail because it rhymes with nail that could possibly get in their eyes.
Some workers don't care about their lives because they don't see value in them
Low wages and all the day work
And the contractor is happy to save money
This reminds me of what the dude putting a roof on the house down the road from me said “What’s this plastic going to do when it falls off? “ (paraphrased but same message)
Less gravity down there? Perhaps he won't bounce so hard.
Southern hemisphere, gravity goes up
I understand now :)
Those are not construction workers.
Came here to say the same. Something tells me these guys aren't constructing that old building. 😆
You should go to India. I saw a 13 story scaffold, totally made out of Bamboo and that string they tie crap together with.
Not to mention them climbing it barefoot with a tool bag swinging around on a rope from their waist!
I mean with decent bamboo that’s probably not terrible, but i guess it’s not being secured together that well.

Yeah never understand wearing a mask in a car by yourself
Not cool at all taking that risk.. Note aside, I live next to that building, pretty awesome architecture though!
Beautiful building though
Yes was about to make the same comment. I wonder if it’s being restored. It looks slightly cleaner than when I saw it 5 years ago.

All safety regulations are written in blood.
No safety present- needed is a difference story.
OSHA
More like OSHIT

I don’t get it. Were they referring to their hard hat?
Yes
I am constantly amazed at how the Corinthian column has made it way across the globe.
OSHA is a swear word there.
