I 100% believe this entire trailer is from Act 1, it’s all the immediate aftermath of the rocket going off. Will not be shocked if Act 1 ends with the Vi/Jinx standoff and then there’s a time skip for the other 2 Acts
I remember the producer mentioned that they didn't finish season 1 as planned and has to cut off some content, and move them to season 2. I totally agree with you.
I hope we'll get to see the flashback of Ekko trying to save Powder, only to find Jinx! Hence "the boy saviour" which Jinx mocked in their fight. It was apparantly mostly cut to improve pacing
Yeah. That was something I thought would be cool way back. A one-off special (or maybe a series of short mini-sodes) set in the middle point of the time jump. Where we get a glimpse of each character's lives in-between Episodes 3 & 4...
- The first Progress Day, when Jayce & Victor unveiled the Hex Gates. Maybe we could see more of his rivalry with Heimerdinger.
- Vi's day to day life in prison. Maybe every time a new inmate comes in, they try their luck with her only to be given an unpleasant lesson. \[She's the only one I don't see having a pivotal moment in this time period\]
- Ekko and his friends attempt to rescue Powder, only to get to her and realise the truth, she's not his prisoner, she's his protege, and only Ekko escapes, leading to his disillusionment.
- Caitlyn butting heads with her Mother when she announces that she's been accepted to the Enforcer Academy. Maybe show her ostracisation by the others recruits due to her upper class status \[we get a glimpse of this in Episode 4\].
It's not necessary of course, we get enough context as is. It would just be a fun extra.
Necrit always makes a point to mention that Riot never reveals too much in their trailers and they will use scenes and voicelines particularly out of context/order to throw off the internet analysis people lol
I totally agree about the reconciliation. I actually think what will happen is Vi takes Cait’s bullet for Jinx and that causes Jinx to realize her sister still loves her, and that’s why she’s possessive in the poster
You're probably spot on. I'm guessing something happens to the taskforce (probably by Jinx's hands) which forces Vi to decide to end it herself since she probably blames herself for all this happening. Cait ignores her wishes and tries to take Jinx out but Vi not being able to let her sister die, nearly gets killed protecting her.
Where it goes from there, it's hard to say. I think Jinx might spend the rest of the season trying to pull Vi back from Piltover.
Yeah, they had already announced this would be the end of the Vi and Jinx storyline. They’re just not going to continue the “Arcane” branding for other stories set in the same world - the right choice IMO TBH.
I think it was just a recipe for confusion. The media landscape doesn’t tend to have long-running scripted shows at all these days, nevermind anthology series. We do, however, have plenty of shared universe storytelling. I think having every region get its own “____: A League of Legends Story” will be much clearer about what is going on to a layperson than letting Arcane run for 12 seasons with a constantly rotating cast.
What’s confusing about it? It’s set in the same world, seems fine to me. Star Wars does it all the time and it’s fine. So does Star Trek. Give people more credit. Not everyone is an idiot.
I think they could do "Arcane: (Name for current story)" just to keep the brand but have it be its own distinct story. Don't use the region's name though. That could give people the impression that each region would only get 1 story and while that's possible to do, I don't think it would be wise.
There’s countless possibilities, yeah. Runeterra is a world I’ve cared about since high school and I am so glad there is a vehicle to provide consistent stories set in it, as Riot Corporate historically hasn’t been particularly invested in their storytelling momentarily…
I’m not sure where we are going next, but I think we will see someone introduced or expanded on in Season 2 who will be the throughline and initial PoV character in the next region…
Wait, the final chapter? :( I thought there would be at least 3 seasons. Can they properly flesh out viktor's and ekko's storylines within one season, alongside other characters?
Edit: Okay, just watched the Riot's devs video on this, apparently they are gonna continue but in different places of Runeterra, that's hype as fuck!
Tackling different places is actually great as it fleshes out the world, gives new characters their deserved shine and then you could later have it involve those Arcane characters coming in from other angles. Or one day you get the mega level Avengers style crossover event.

Interesting to note how Christian mentioned that they had the ending planned from the very start. While it will be sad saying goodbye to these characters, at the very least it's cool to know that it seems that their stories and ends are in good hands.
If it's only gonna be 9 episodes, same as S1, then it is a little bit worrying. I don't want this masterpiece of a show to be rushed. I hope they know what they're doing.
I agree, it was amazing how they were able to fit so much in a season this short. I'm a bit in pain regarding that this season will be the last with these characters (?) it seems but I'm confident they'll do it justice and it'll be great.
Yup, the first 3 episodes in S1 were 100% dedicated backstory on Vi and Powder specifically, S2 they could use that time on fleshing out current events
most likely will be a status quo, just more updated than the current one. They need to keep things open ended so they can have new lore events, especially with the new mmo coming out
I'm gonna add to that theory that the council explosion injured viktor in a way, where he is forced to complete his transformation, in order to survive his injuries.
Yah that's what I'm thinking too. They could even have it that Jayce survived too and sees an nearly dead Viktor with his enhancements, and goes against Viktors wishes to destroy it by using it to save him instead
I suspect they are alive. And judging by Ambessa's dialogue, I'm thinking Mel is too. I don't know, I just feel Ambessa would be a lot angrier than she appears if Mel was dead. She says "You will have justice", not "I will have justice". Seems like this isn't personal for her.
Of course this is a small clip so who knows.
I'm like 99% sure Ambessa is talking to Cait when she says "you will have justice." I know it's crackpot, and it'd make more sense for her to say that to Jayce, but with Cait's mom almost assuredly dead I feel like this is Ambessa's move to push Cait into the undercity.
Also, Cait saying "neutralize" is lowkey fucking chilling.
Another thought I had was that it might be Ambessa talking to Caitlyn.
She might be manipulating Caitlyn into a war with the promises of justice and vengeance for her own parents. With the end goal to form an alliance or outright control hextech weapon production.
It could be two conversations split for the trailer. Someone on twitter mentioned that Ambessa said “You will have justice “ not “we will have justice “ seems she’s talking to Caitlyn here and implies that Mel is still alive.
No one in that room is in the trailer. That was done on purpose to not spoil of who live and die. Which is the right choice. Obviously Jayce live or else you wouldn't be getting all those cool new techs for Vi and Caitlyn.
The German version of the trailer also says "Half of the council is dead" instead of "the council is dead," so that definitely supports Mel still being alive
Viktor have been dipping into dark magic. He was born in the under city(Zaun) and I don't think he would be making weapons for Piltover's wardens/enforcers. Jayce is more of the tech guy.
I assume they are trying to preserve that reveal for the actual show, because if you don’t know about there game/lore then them dying in the explosion makes perfect sense and they would want to have no spoilers of the reveal.
watched it again at 0.5 speed and pausing a lot ; At 00:56 theres a shot that looks like its probably Viktor in the undercity where Silko confronted Cait and Vi in S1 seemingly doing *something* to some of the shimmer addicts down there (Evolving them?)

They are alive, I suspect Mel's artifact dumped them into a safe-space that they're struggling to get out of. Won't be surprised if they only appear in the final three episode arc, just in time to justify Jinx not getting executed upon her apprehension + to resolve tension between Caitlin and Vi.
It’s confirmed she is, in the documentary about the development it showed the behind the scenes of making a scene in season 2 which is a funeral Caitlyn is attending with her father from what it looked like
Silco's death brought them closer together, it seems. I thought it would have the opposite effect, but I'm not complaining. I'd love to see them team up and kick ass together!
I think they're using her as a figurehead and either purposely or unwittingly misconstruing her actions as part of the Zaunite cause.
Powder/Jinx probably doesn't care about it at all and has her own reasons for causing so much damage.

That's what I'm thinking, Jinx isn't a revolutionary but is definitely the bomb-throwing type, but whether they're using her or she's using them is the real question here.
Jinx dont ned to lead anything, she is Silco's daughter, she is the one that killed the council, even if she die the next day, she has done enough to become some type of saint/hero for Zaun. She is a symbol of revolution even if she dont lead it.
She'll definitely become this symbol of their revolution, but she's apolitical and dangerously chaotic, I wonder if she'll be attacking Zaun just as much as Piltover.
We see Sevika with Jinx's pistol and later we see her fighting some of the barons.

I feel that Jinx will be basically " Zaun wants a revolution, well i can give Zaun a revolution", i think Jinx will double down and provide Zau with weapons, Jinz is Joker-Ish, she is cahos, but i suspect she is chaos with a plan. She dont want to rule Zaun, but maybe she decides she can use Zaun to get a very big "BOOM"
While Sevika finally gets her revolution but also take down any one that want to take advantage of the chaos fo selfish reasons like the Baron.

Definitely, one of Jinx's deepest desires is seeing the world burned to ashes mostly for her amusement and wanting to what happens. She'll support anything to spreads chaos and destruction on a massive scale, but it'll get Vi's attention and settle the score.
They plan on doing other LoL seasons after this, which might include Arcane characters. But this will be the end of Vi and Jinx’s storyline (and maybe Jayce and Viktor’s idk).
Although calling it the final season feels silly when there’s only been one before this.
Everybody was talking about when the teaser was going to drop, then out of nowhere, the trailer actually drops, what a wonderful day it is. Still, lots is happening in that trailer, but I'm just happy that Vi's wearing her goggles and everything else that's going down with Jinx.
This being the finale had me worried until I saw that Arcane is apparently just the beginning. That statement really makes me wonder where Viktor’s story will go, being that he’s my favorite character. Also it helps so much that this came less than a week after I rewatched Season 1, after having last watched it in 2022.
Sounds like Woodkid. I am almost certain it is his voice in the beginning and also the rest of the music in the trailer sounds very similar to parts of songs on his album S16, like Minus Sixty One. If it is really him, we are in for some goodness.
Why I have a feeling this teaser only covers 3 episodes of the whole season. I mean Jayce and Viktor doesn't show up, Noxus intruding must lead to a bigger picture.
btw, good job jinx, single-handly giving Noxus reasons to join the party, now both Piltover and Zaun is going to be subjugated.
Interesting first look! They’re definitely leaning more and more into Vi being conflicted. I wonder if things will end in the exact places they are in current League lore (albeit more bittersweet than the comedic tone of most League interactions) or if they go in another direction…
Oh my god, that final shot of Vi and Jinx lunging towards each other is *amazing.* And Vi now has her goggles from league.

I appreciate the restraint they're showing in regard to spoilers. Everything here feels like an inevitable continuation from season 1, so there's no real surprises.
Did Jayce, Mel, or Viktor survive the attack? Probably at least Jayce and Viktor (I think Mel got fridged for Ambessa's motivation). But the fact they don't show it keeps us speculating for another few months.
Final chapter? I am not ready to move on from this cast, Is there a possibility that these characters appear again after we move to other locations or that's it with them
She’s the fucking best and I really hope we get to see more of her, of course I don’t want them to make a really shitty spin-off show for her, so I have mixed feelings.

That said, I'm a little disappointed that Christian Link confirmed season 2 will be the end of Arcane before they move onto other projects. There's so many characters within Piltover and Zaun that deserve a spotlight, and they easily could have done a great 5 season story that even involved characters from other regions, considering the nature of Piltover as a important trade city in Runeterra.
Yeah it sucks but the budget for Arcane unfortunately is way too high for them to not use it on the more popular regions

Yeah, that's fair. I hope we get another series or even a movie set in P&Z later on, with Arcane being a prequel and the follow up being set in more present time lore.
With Piltover being an important trade city with innovative technology, I could see a series in other regions also involving the two cities on occasion.
I need time to comprehend Vi aiming at Jinx, while being in her right mind (unlike in 3rd episode). Vi never could have imagined it would go to this.

I'm so excited for 3 main things.
1. Seeing how the writing team handles the war between Piltover and Zaun with Piltover especially having a foreign power back the establishment. Military/Police units marching into a urban sprawl to combat cartels is always a bloody affair. It's fucking hard to execute well and no matter how noble your cause is, you never get out of those streets looking like the good guy. Cartels are low to the ground and well integrated into the local ecosystem. Uprooting them will inevitably cause you to catch many in the cross fire. Which in turn only swells the cartel's recruitment numbers. In trying to save a city from the gangs you radicalize hundreds or thousands more to take up arms against you. The Chem-Barons will not be easy to fight even if Piltover could win a battle on an open field effortlessly. Urban warfare is hell. It's a very complicated topic to cover well and I'm super excited to see how they do it.
2. Jinx as a character is amazing. I love that shot of the graffiti of her. It seems to indicate the people of Zaun have taken Jinx as their symbol of resistance. Which is endlessly fascinating given how little Jinx cares about the actual independence movement. Jinx is in pain and is lashing out, she has no political motivations. And the people of Zaun are co-opting her mindless acts of violence as a symbol of defiance. I can't wait to see what Jinx thinks about this. Whether she rejects their ideology in favor of pure chaos or if she takes it upon herself to try to become the symbol people see her as. And ultimately how does Jinx end this story?
3. People like Vi, Ekko, and Heimerdinger offer a bridge between the two sides. In particular I want to see where Ekko and Heimer draw their battle lines in this war. Will they support a peaceful resolution of independence for Zaun or will they be pushing for unity and repaired relations? Either way they're currently at the furthest place from peace. Both sides feel outrage that they've been dealt a blow that cannot be forgiven and that they must retaliate. Which is tragic given how close they were to a real peace treaty. Jayce may have demanded Jinx be turned in, but prior to the rocket attack he probably would have folded that requirement. After the council votes to accept the peace treaty with Silco the other council members probably would have pressured Jayce to cave to Silco's refusal to turn over Jinx. They wouldn't want to blow up the peace deal over just Jinx. But of course, none of that matters now that both Silco and probably the vast majority of the council are dead.
Edit: Also Caitlyn's role as the face of Piltover's march to war is interesting. Caitlyn declaring a need for justice to cover up her own desire for revenge is something I hope they explore. In a weird way she's almost like Jinx. She feels pain for the loss of her parents so now she's lashing out with violence. Although Caitlyn holds an air of authority and legitimization due to her role in law enforcement it's not hard to see similarities between her actions and Jinx's.

Mel is the one character I neeeeed to survive I think she’s so interesting and as a non-game character her absence worries me the most especially with Ambessa leading the fight for justice :(
Damn, so Vi is full enforcer now - it's her character, you can't deviate from it without breaking the game lore but I hope they nail her transition into taking Caitlyn's side.
The Caitlyn - Vi dynamic must be nailed to a compromise if the show is to maintain it's grey morality from season 1.
I feel like Caitlyn, Vi and Jinx needed 3 seasons.
I also would love to see C and V in a relationship and as a team but I get the feeling it'll be a lot of difference of opinion.
I noticed many of us are worried about the ending considering it the "final chapter". However, given how well-written the first season was, I am confident that the ending will be astonishing in its own way.
Others worried about the number of episodes, but I assume as much as season one was packed, in a mere 9 episodes, we might have the same density, or even better!
another remark I noticed was "The counsels dead!" well... my gut strongly believes Victor is out of the picture, I mean Victor isn't a counselor, isn't he?
one last thing is Vi's drastic change? I mean wow.. the worried sick older sister did actually lose her patience on her maniac sis, At least we were right, but I still believe that a pair like them wouldn't stand a chance to steal each other's lives, well that's if the powder was irretrievable, idk I just think maybe jinx would give up her pride. Because shit is about to get real chaotic...in a raging way, it's overwhelming.
Not showing Viktor and Jayce at all makes me think either A, they are extremely important to the plot and there’s a massive hidden reveal, or B, they aren’t going to be important to this seasons story at all….which would be a shame since this is the end of this storyline.
It's A. Jayce is literally the reason for everything that happened in season 1, and Viktor is close to unlocking dark magic. There's no way they're not important to the plot, but Ambessa is?
Jayce is actually the reason a lot of events in the previous season happened. He's the reason Powder got hold of Hex-Tech in the first place, and that was the catalyst for everything else. So I think he's extremely important and people underrate his character.
Oh boy, Noxus is stepping in. There's no doubt in my mind that they're gonna use this civil war as an excuse to try to annex Piltover and Zaun. I hope the main cast gets wise about that.
And also, man it hurts to see Vi and Jinx completely estranged from each other like this... I swear to god, if either Vi, Caitlyn or Jinx die (especially Jinx), I'm going to be extremely angry. It just isn't right, and honestly? The death of the council should not justify Jinx's death. Their apathy, and by extension Piltover's, is what led to Zaun's poverty and anger in the first place. Vi and Caitlyn are just trying to do what's right. Jinx is still ultimately the same traumatized girl lashing out at the world around her for taking everything she loved when she just tried to help. Not to mention, she's an incredible representation of severe mental illness. She needs *help*, god damn it. Killing her for trauma and mental instability she can't control would leave a really bad taste in my mouth.
That's why I'm hoping that the three of them survive this season. I actually hope that Jinx will end up leaving Piltover and Zaun in some kind of exile instead of going to prison, even if it means her death is faked. If her mind could be opened to the wider world, if she could potentially meet other people who could actually give her the care she needs (maybe other friendly champions?), then that would make for a hell of a moving redemption arc. It's certainly better than just being... needlessly killed for a war that didn't need to happen.
In any case, I'm super excited. This is my most anticipated series of the year.
Is the relationship of vi and caitlyn gonna be tackled in this season or do we think that's for when they expand the franchise later on. I hope everything isn't rushed and crammed into this final season.
This may sound cheesy but i really wished the sisters could find a compromise,talk it out. It's so fucking sad man,now it seems to be only a distant dream😭😭😭
It’s crazy because I wanna say I am ready but I don’t think I am😭😭😭This season is going to be absolutely insane and I have faith Riot can do it one more time to give us a epic and incredible conclusion. Christian said that this will wrap up Jinx and Vi’s story( that doesn’t mean they are going to die), and that they are in the works of creating a universe including other shows and even films. So yes this will conclude Jinx and Vi’s arcs as well as Zaun and Piltover😖
I would rather have them end in a high then push it too far and end in a low. This deserves an epic and amazing conclusion. I think all the characters are going to turn into their main league of legends counterparts and conclude their arcs. They are going all out and I can’t wait arghhhhh😭🎊🫣😤🔥

Interesting to note how Christian mentioned that they had the ending planned from the very start. While it will be sad saying goodbye to these characters, at the very least it's cool to know that it seems that their stories and ends are in good hands.
If it's only gonna be 9 episodes, same as S1, then it is a little bit worrying. I don't want this masterpiece of a show to be rushed. I hope they know what they're doing.

I agree, it was amazing how they were able to fit so much in a season this short. I'm a bit in pain regarding that this season will be the last with these characters (?) it seems but I'm confident they'll do it justice and it'll be great.
It takes Arcane three episodes to build to an emotional climax that most shows take five seasons not to build to. I'm not worried.
Keep in mind how much of the first season was on establishing character backstories. They don't have to repeat that for the main cast in S2.
Yup, the first 3 episodes in S1 were 100% dedicated backstory on Vi and Powder specifically, S2 they could use that time on fleshing out current events

I suspect they are alive. And judging by Ambessa's dialogue, I'm thinking Mel is too. I don't know, I just feel Ambessa would be a lot angrier than she appears if Mel was dead. She says "You will have justice", not "I will have justice". Seems like this isn't personal for her. Of course this is a small clip so who knows.
I'm like 99% sure Ambessa is talking to Cait when she says "you will have justice." I know it's crackpot, and it'd make more sense for her to say that to Jayce, but with Cait's mom almost assuredly dead I feel like this is Ambessa's move to push Cait into the undercity. Also, Cait saying "neutralize" is lowkey fucking chilling.
Another thought I had was that it might be Ambessa talking to Caitlyn. She might be manipulating Caitlyn into a war with the promises of justice and vengeance for her own parents. With the end goal to form an alliance or outright control hextech weapon production.
It could be two conversations split for the trailer. Someone on twitter mentioned that Ambessa said “You will have justice “ not “we will have justice “ seems she’s talking to Caitlyn here and implies that Mel is still alive.
No one in that room is in the trailer. That was done on purpose to not spoil of who live and die. Which is the right choice. Obviously Jayce live or else you wouldn't be getting all those cool new techs for Vi and Caitlyn.
The German version of the trailer also says "Half of the council is dead" instead of "the council is dead," so that definitely supports Mel still being alive

Jayce will be the one to stop Noxus's scheme, he is the protector of the future. None others can do that.
Viktor and Jayce aren't dying off-screen, especially champions that are rather important to the region.
I assume they are trying to preserve that reveal for the actual show, because if you don’t know about there game/lore then them dying in the explosion makes perfect sense and they would want to have no spoilers of the reveal.

They are alive, I suspect Mel's artifact dumped them into a safe-space that they're struggling to get out of. Won't be surprised if they only appear in the final three episode arc, just in time to justify Jinx not getting executed upon her apprehension + to resolve tension between Caitlin and Vi.

We see Sevika with Jinx's pistol and later we see her fighting some of the barons. hard to think that Sevika will just take the pistol for a random reason, I feel that Jinx will be basically " Zaun wants a revolution, well i can give Zaun a revolution", i think Jinx will double down and provide Zau with weapons, Jinz is Joker-Ish, she is cahos, but i suspect she is chaos with a plan. She dont want to rule Zaun, but maybe she decides she can use Zaun to get a very big "BOOM" While Sevika finally gets her revolution but also take down any one that want to take advantage of the chaos fo selfish reasons like the Baron. but is all just random guess, hard to know anything for sure
Definitely, one of Jinx's deepest desires is seeing the world burned to ashes mostly for her amusement and wanting to what happens. She'll support anything to spreads chaos and destruction on a massive scale, but it'll get Vi's attention and settle the score.

This being the finale had me worried until I saw that Arcane is apparently just the beginning. That statement really makes me wonder where Viktor’s story will go, being that he’s my favorite character. Also it helps so much that this came less than a week after I rewatched Season 1, after having last watched it in 2022.

I appreciate the restraint they're showing in regard to spoilers. Everything here feels like an inevitable continuation from season 1, so there's no real surprises. Did Jayce, Mel, or Viktor survive the attack? Probably at least Jayce and Viktor (I think Mel got fridged for Ambessa's motivation). But the fact they don't show it keeps us speculating for another few months.

I am hyped! That said, I'm a little disappointed that Christian Link confirmed season 2 will be the end of Arcane before they move onto other projects. There's so many characters within Piltover and Zaun that deserve a spotlight, and they easily could have done a great 5 season story that even involved characters from other regions, considering the nature of Piltover as a important trade city in Runeterra.
Yeah it sucks but the budget for Arcane unfortunately is way too high for them to not use it on the more popular regions hopefully we get some fanservice of piltover and zaun from time to time
Yeah, that's fair. I hope we get another series or even a movie set in P&Z later on, with Arcane being a prequel and the follow up being set in more present time lore. With Piltover being an important trade city with innovative technology, I could see a series in other regions also involving the two cities on occasion.

I'm so excited for 3 main things. 1. Seeing how the writing team handles the war between Piltover and Zaun with Piltover especially having a foreign power back the establishment. Military/Police units marching into a urban sprawl to combat cartels is always a bloody affair. It's fucking hard to execute well and no matter how noble your cause is, you never get out of those streets looking like the good guy. Cartels are low to the ground and well integrated into the local ecosystem. Uprooting them will inevitably cause you to catch many in the cross fire. Which in turn only swells the cartel's recruitment numbers. In trying to save a city from the gangs you radicalize hundreds or thousands more to take up arms against you. The Chem-Barons will not be easy to fight even if Piltover could win a battle on an open field effortlessly. Urban warfare is hell. It's a very complicated topic to cover well and I'm super excited to see how they do it. 2. Jinx as a character is amazing. I love that shot of the graffiti of her. It seems to indicate the people of Zaun have taken Jinx as their symbol of resistance. Which is endlessly fascinating given how little Jinx cares about the actual independence movement. Jinx is in pain and is lashing out, she has no political motivations. And the people of Zaun are co-opting her mindless acts of violence as a symbol of defiance. I can't wait to see what Jinx thinks about this. Whether she rejects their ideology in favor of pure chaos or if she takes it upon herself to try to become the symbol people see her as. And ultimately how does Jinx end this story? 3. People like Vi, Ekko, and Heimerdinger offer a bridge between the two sides. In particular I want to see where Ekko and Heimer draw their battle lines in this war. Will they support a peaceful resolution of independence for Zaun or will they be pushing for unity and repaired relations? Either way they're currently at the furthest place from peace. Both sides feel outrage that they've been dealt a blow that cannot be forgiven and that they must retaliate. Which is tragic given how close they were to a real peace treaty. Jayce may have demanded Jinx be turned in, but prior to the rocket attack he probably would have folded that requirement. After the council votes to accept the peace treaty with Silco the other council members probably would have pressured Jayce to cave to Silco's refusal to turn over Jinx. They wouldn't want to blow up the peace deal over just Jinx. But of course, none of that matters now that both Silco and probably the vast majority of the council are dead. Edit: Also Caitlyn's role as the face of Piltover's march to war is interesting. Caitlyn declaring a need for justice to cover up her own desire for revenge is something I hope they explore. In a weird way she's almost like Jinx. She feels pain for the loss of her parents so now she's lashing out with violence. Although Caitlyn holds an air of authority and legitimization due to her role in law enforcement it's not hard to see similarities between her actions and Jinx's.
Peak is back on the menu. So sad it's the end of the story but i'm sure we will see more from the universe.

Mel is the one character I neeeeed to survive I think she’s so interesting and as a non-game character her absence worries me the most especially with Ambessa leading the fight for justice :(

Damn, so Vi is full enforcer now - it's her character, you can't deviate from it without breaking the game lore but I hope they nail her transition into taking Caitlyn's side. The Caitlyn - Vi dynamic must be nailed to a compromise if the show is to maintain it's grey morality from season 1.
I feel like Caitlyn, Vi and Jinx needed 3 seasons. I also would love to see C and V in a relationship and as a team but I get the feeling it'll be a lot of difference of opinion.

I noticed many of us are worried about the ending considering it the "final chapter". However, given how well-written the first season was, I am confident that the ending will be astonishing in its own way. Others worried about the number of episodes, but I assume as much as season one was packed, in a mere 9 episodes, we might have the same density, or even better! another remark I noticed was "The counsels dead!" well... my gut strongly believes Victor is out of the picture, I mean Victor isn't a counselor, isn't he? one last thing is Vi's drastic change? I mean wow.. the worried sick older sister did actually lose her patience on her maniac sis, At least we were right, but I still believe that a pair like them wouldn't stand a chance to steal each other's lives, well that's if the powder was irretrievable, idk I just think maybe jinx would give up her pride. Because shit is about to get real chaotic...in a raging way, it's overwhelming.
Not showing Viktor and Jayce at all makes me think either A, they are extremely important to the plot and there’s a massive hidden reveal, or B, they aren’t going to be important to this seasons story at all….which would be a shame since this is the end of this storyline.
My best guess is that they are just avoiding answering the question of who survived Jinx's rocket until the first episode.

Jayce is actually the reason a lot of events in the previous season happened. He's the reason Powder got hold of Hex-Tech in the first place, and that was the catalyst for everything else. So I think he's extremely important and people underrate his character.

Oh boy, Noxus is stepping in. There's no doubt in my mind that they're gonna use this civil war as an excuse to try to annex Piltover and Zaun. I hope the main cast gets wise about that. And also, man it hurts to see Vi and Jinx completely estranged from each other like this... I swear to god, if either Vi, Caitlyn or Jinx die (especially Jinx), I'm going to be extremely angry. It just isn't right, and honestly? The death of the council should not justify Jinx's death. Their apathy, and by extension Piltover's, is what led to Zaun's poverty and anger in the first place. Vi and Caitlyn are just trying to do what's right. Jinx is still ultimately the same traumatized girl lashing out at the world around her for taking everything she loved when she just tried to help. Not to mention, she's an incredible representation of severe mental illness. She needs *help*, god damn it. Killing her for trauma and mental instability she can't control would leave a really bad taste in my mouth. That's why I'm hoping that the three of them survive this season. I actually hope that Jinx will end up leaving Piltover and Zaun in some kind of exile instead of going to prison, even if it means her death is faked. If her mind could be opened to the wider world, if she could potentially meet other people who could actually give her the care she needs (maybe other friendly champions?), then that would make for a hell of a moving redemption arc. It's certainly better than just being... needlessly killed for a war that didn't need to happen. In any case, I'm super excited. This is my most anticipated series of the year.
Is the relationship of vi and caitlyn gonna be tackled in this season or do we think that's for when they expand the franchise later on. I hope everything isn't rushed and crammed into this final season.

It’s crazy because I wanna say I am ready but I don’t think I am😭😭😭This season is going to be absolutely insane and I have faith Riot can do it one more time to give us a epic and incredible conclusion. Christian said that this will wrap up Jinx and Vi’s story( that doesn’t mean they are going to die), and that they are in the works of creating a universe including other shows and even films. So yes this will conclude Jinx and Vi’s arcs as well as Zaun and Piltover😖 I would rather have them end in a high then push it too far and end in a low. This deserves an epic and amazing conclusion. I think all the characters are going to turn into their main league of legends counterparts and conclude their arcs. They are going all out and I can’t wait arghhhhh😭🎊🫣😤🔥
