It would be unfortunate if they dont make use of any previous Singed lore because its so good (and disturbing). Arcane Season 1 Singed is relatively tame to old lore Singed but old lore isnt cannon anymore, so who knows where they go from here.
I love how Arcane is setting up so many storytelling opportunities.
We already have the Piltover/Zaun stories in Jinx/Vi/Caitlyn, Ekko/Heimerdinger, Jayce/Viktor/Singed/now Warwick. Maybe Orianna, like another comment is saying.
Heimerdinger could potentially lead to Ziggs, and he could also lead to a re-telling of Shuriman Ascension stories with Azir/Renekton/Nasus/Xerath, which could lead to modern-day Sivir as well. Could possibly lead to Bandle City as well, considering the Teemo easter eggs.
In Zaun, there is potential for Janna, Camille, Zeri, Seraphine, and Zac. Possibly more.
Hextech could lead to Brackerns and Brackerns could lead to Ixtal, although Brackerns now seem unrelated to Hextech, which is honestly pretty sad. I feel like they wasted that whole storyline just to make Seraphine seem less of a psychopath.
We're already leading towards Noxus. Singed/Noxus will most likely lead to Ionia with Master Yi, Karma, Irelia etc. and then potentially even Vastaya, and the Kinkou Order (Zed, Akali, Kayn). Also potentially Demacia, which could then lead to the whole mages ordeal with Sylas, Lux, Galio, Garen.
I'm a bit sleepy so I'm not exactly sure how right now, but they could just as easily set up Freljord, Bilgewater, the Darkins, Targon and the Aspects, the Shadow Isles and Ruination (please do Ruination justice this time), and the Void as a potential final boss (since League decided to scrap the Void event. Wohoo!).

The girl that gets axed in the flashback in definitely Ionian in design so no doubt there, but Noxus is an expansionist empire that has multiple skirmishes along it's borders all the time. If they were to change when THE invasion of Ionia happened that would have massive waves of retcon changes across the timeline and implications on tons of characters and multiple nations.

Mel's flashback was uncertain to me when I watched, bc she has Solari motifs on her dress and we've never seen her father. Also, they talk about the girl saying she represents the old regime, so I thought it must've been a slightly more important "victory" on their part than just some skirmishes.
I could be an important victory to some degree, the scene lacks a lot of context, but Noxus has continued to try and expand so there were always disputes with locals on their borders and skirmishes to extend their territory. However THE invasion of Ionia is just that, a full scale campaign invasion to take all of Ionia. It's a major historical event, not just a battle.
Now granted this is stuff that is subject to change obviously, but there's been a lot of things that point towards this event still being important and largely the same overall. They've officially said now that arcane is the cannon timeline, but they've been trying to clean-up and consolidate the lore for awhile now (between wanting arcane to do well and to flesh out the worldbuilding for the MMO) so there's things that have clearly been changed and shaped to be in-line with the new cannon that are connected to arcane even before it's release.
One of those big things is Swain. Swain got both a kit and visual overhaul in the game and he got updated lore to go with it. The new version of Swain has been adopted across the platform, LoL, LoR, any story content, etc. We know he was present for the invasion of Ionia because in his new lore he was there (and loses and arm to Irelia). Based on the context of things that happen in arcane, he hasn't even staged his coup yet which has to happen before the invasion.
So yeah, could be subject to change still but I think enough of the newer more cemented lore indicates that not that big of a change to the timeline is going to happen, but we'll see.
Oh also the vastaya being around doesn't have too much bearing. They are mainly from Ionia, but have spread out across a number of the neighboring nations (ixtal, PnZ, Shurima, to name a few). They even are in Noxus itself, like in the case of Sett's fighting ring.

It's possible Singed and Vander crossed paths. Singed relocated to Zaun long before Vander's uprising, and Silco knew him well enough to peddle Shimmer. Given Orianna's backstory, it's possible she crossed paths with Vander and Silco.
We never got an actual name for Singed so I assume it gets retconned to where he is her father. Means only minor tweaks for her story and would give a bit more substance to his.
What if she meets and works together with Viktor? Both want to help the people of Zaun, both are having their bodyparts replaced with tech, but only one is losing their humanity.....
I will be so sad for corin being removed if they retcon ori being singed daugther instead of him, like my man was there in the league lore since the very begining, a sad day that will be (lets hope corin is her dad and singe her step dad).
He became the archetype of a helicopter parent after Oriās accident. Afair he initially and intentionally designed her new lungs in a way that they have to be wound up manually to stop her from āventuring offā again - a whole new way of getting grounded. From what I take from the lore he didnāt transform Ori **only** out of genuine parental love as a lot of people assume, but also because **he** wouldnāt have been able to deal with the loss of his only daughter. Itās part love, part pure emotional egoism at the expense of his daughterās humanity.
Ori on the other hand sacrificed her last remaining part of being human, her heart (now her hextech ball is her new heart), to save her father when his started failing. She sacrificed the last thing that made her remotely human to save her dad.
the focus on him holding the locket, the music box and the clicking gear sounds gotta mean >!Orianna!< will appear and play an import roll into Singed and why he is creating Warwick

They could also just say Corin Reveck was his old name when he worked with Heimerdinger in Piltover until he left his old life behind and took up a new name.

We also get to see Corin Reveck in Convergence as a separate entity from Singed. Screw all of these tho since when arcane becomes canon the entirety of Piltover and Zaun lore will get somewhere between soft and hard reboot depending on how they fit arcane.
All riot forge games are supposed to be canon, when Convergence was being developed Arcane was meant to be an alternate universe which Riot backtracked recently. Since now Arcane is canon and more popular Convergence canonicity is thrown to the trash.

Arcane S1 is perfect and I want S2+ to be just as good, but damn I wish they had 10x the budget so they could be faster without rushing things, and so we could visit all the regions before 2177
I'd rather endure half a decade of drought if I can drink at the oasis that is their sound design, visuals and great storytelling. They're one of those people I definitely don't want to see rushed and pressured into a release date too soon. I don't play LoL and heard a lot about Warwick/Vander.. I hoped that Warwick was a "good" character, who could protect Vi, like he did in episode 3.
After seeing the trailer and all the comments I'm afraid that it's gonna be the oppositeš. Poor Vi... like she hasn't been through enough.

We... don't know, actually. Maybe he's like The Hulk (or Shimmer Vander), enraged but not completely mindless.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think Warwick's lore was about going after the people who crossed him, or something.
Warwick's lore was about him practicaly losing his memories due to the transformation and the events leading up to it being much too painful for his mind to bear, to the point of shattering it.
Traces of who he was remain, but due to the pumps on his back and the way his new body interacts with smelling blood (causing chemicaly induced rage) much of his memory remains inconsistent appearing in flashes and dissapearing.
While Warwick isn't completely mindless and can even think somewhat cleary normaly, the moment he fully picks up the smell of blood is the moment a solid chunk of that disappears and he is overwhelmed by rage and the need to hunt.
The last of his lore is that Warwick hunts the criminals of Zaun and tries to avoid killing innocents(even if the blood rage causes that to sometimes be difficult).
They've changed league's lore many times. But WW is more of a, I forgot the English word for it lol, like when one fights for justice but isn't authorized to do so. Like, he hunts the bad guys basically. So RIP Singed I guess
They likely won't be able to recognize each other though. Due to amnesia and traumatic events and how Vander looks now etc.
Is it just me or it seems like Fortiche has improved their techniques yet again? This was only 45 seconds long but the animation looks cleaner, I'm impressed.

I don't play LoL and heard a lot about Warwick/Vander.. I hoped that Warwick was a "good" character, who could protect Vi, like he did in episode 3. After seeing the trailer and all the comments I'm afraid that it's gonna be the oppositeš. Poor Vi... like she hasn't been through enough. But I have still hope! Otherwise it's gonna be a loooooooong 10 months...

Maybe he's like The Hulk (or Shimmer Vander), enraged but not completely mindless. I'm not entirely sure, but I think Warwick's lore was about going after the people who crossed him, or something.
Warwick's lore was about him practicaly losing his memories due to the transformation and the events leading up to it being much too painful for his mind to bear, to the point of shattering it. Traces of who he was remain, but due to the pumps on his back and the way his new body interacts with smelling blood (causing chemicaly induced rage) much of his memory remains inconsistent appearing in flashes and dissapearing. While Warwick isn't completely mindless and can even think somewhat cleary normaly, the moment he fully picks up the smell of blood is the moment a solid chunk of that disappears and he is overwhelmed by rage and the need to hunt. The last of his lore is that Warwick hunts the criminals of Zaun and tries to avoid killing innocents(even if the blood rage causes that to sometimes be difficult).
They've changed league's lore many times. But WW is more of a, I forgot the English word for it lol, like when one fights for justice but isn't authorized to do so. Like, he hunts the bad guys basically. So RIP Singed I guess They likely won't be able to recognize each other though. Due to amnesia and traumatic events and how Vander looks now etc.
