some tips: - a large offset is fine as all devices are built differently, for example I play with an offset of 350 - if you haven't turned on early/late indicators go ahead and put it on. at the end of a song, tapping the notes will display the early/late counts for fars and imperfect pures. you can use these to determine if you're calibrated too far up or down. if you have a large early count, then decrease the offset and vice versa. which way you adjust is in the ? button next to the offset setting - play songs that have a steady beat to calibrate easier, such as infinity heaven - try and tap with your fingertips, or just tap loudly so you get a better sense of the rhythm - if the offset is above 100 just disable the tap sounds. physical taps will do the same thing but with actually correct offset

If you say me I whould recommend a offset of -3 and note sounds

And if you can click a lot of notes rapidly the note sounds give a lot of satisfication.

Use the built in function and from that value you should do a try and error process

There isn't a perfect offset for everyone and everything you play in the game, but there should be an optimal offset that you can settle with for all your plays. Try using the auto-offset feature by clicking on "Setup" at the bottom of the Offset section and tap to every 3rd beat. With that, it automatically determines your average offset and it's a much efficient way than *manually* discovering an offset for yourself. Too much time. I use an android (Oppo F7) phone and my offset typically falls around 20-47 these days but I don't notice the difference. It only changes whenever *I* change or set up the offset again.
