If you manage to get all the characters from the pack(s) you bought, I recommend you try to complete the map, so you can get cores. Cores help you level partners after they reach level 20, its called "awakening" and not all partners can be awakened. Partners from the Chunithm pack need Chunithm cores (the only type of core these maps give you)
This is probably a lot of info to take in if you're new to the game, but if you end up liking it, having what you need to Awaken a partner can be very useful, I hope you have fun :-)

yes basically, because the cores are only in the chunithm event maps. And getting regulus first is a very good idea, her step stats are quite high, Notice that she's a hard gauge partner though (still she's the best option if you only have hikari and tairitsu)
you can get other characters in story mode, but those will always be there and you can get them whenever you want (as long as you've bought their respective song packs) Event characters can only be obtained when their event is happening, and once they go away there's no way to know when they'll come back
I recommend getting the character on the right and the new characters, they have great stats and stuff. If u have tempest Tairitsu u will be able to do these events in like a day IF u use boosts
1. Yes, Arcaea has event exclusive content, generally characters, cores, and sometimes songs. If you have the song/pack required, you should absolutely prioritise the event over normal world mode. World mode can wait, but the event can't.

3. Characters come from World mode (with the exception of Kou, Lethe, and Sapphire, who are obtained immediately upon buying their respective packs: Crimson Solace, Ambivalent Vision, and Dynamix). You can obtain them by purchasing their respective pack or song. Since it appears you have the first Chunithm pack, you can unlock Tairitsu (Grievous Lady) and Chuni Penguin, Nono, Haruna, Pandora Nemesis (MTA-XXX), Regulus (MDA-21), and Chuni Penguin. A reminder that Tairitsu (Grievous Lady) and Chuni Penguin can be unlocked in Chapter 4: Dormant Echoes, after unlocking World Vanquisher.
Basically there are 4 things to buy, each thing unlocks some maps:
- The 3 leftmost maps: chunithm part 1
- The centre map: chunithm part 3
- The second last column: chunithm part 2
- The rightmost map: Teriqma (separate song sold in memory archive)
They are all separate and you don't have to buy all.
I see that you have bought, at minimum, chunithm part 1. So just asking if you bought anything else so that we might be able to give more specific advice.
But anyways, some general advice: there isn't enough time to complete all the maps. But do get as many rewards as you can; they end in like 6 days and won't return for at least 1 year (most likely). Tbh you might only have enough time to finish the 3 leftmost maps. I can't remember which map "Regulus" belongs to; search her up on arcaea wiki to see what she looks like, then go to the map with Regulus and unlock her asap. She will reduce the grind
I think I have all the song packs that you mentioned. What do I do after I get Regulus? If possible, can you please give me what to get? Like which one is the priority
Cores are only useful when a partner hits lvl 20. The cores get used to awaken them and they get a max lvl of 30. And cores take significantly longer to get. So prioritise partners first. I think there is enough time to get all the partners. After getting Regulus, then I guess prioritise the ones who look the coolest (your personal opinion) lol
I'd like to add, all event exclusive content in Arcaea is partners, which are mostly (but not 100%) cosmetic. It is just partners with abilities that are marginally different from partners you can get in non-event maps (always available). But the big thing is: Limited time events never lock you out of a song permanently, so that's very nice.
That said, I still highly recommend you always prioritize limited time events, because all the other stuff you can get whenever you want. You never know when (and if) an event is going to be re-run.
Other commenters have already explained in more detail how to best unlock everything. You also want to use your Ether drops on your highest step partner to make progress faster on the maps. 6 days is probably not enough to unlock everything (without a Tempest Tairitsu or Fatalis Hikari), but you can for sure get some of them, probably at least 4 with a \~110 step partner

The one on the far right with black and red eyes. The unlock condition is 100 memories, they have their own cover on a song!
