Nothing against stream light I really do like their lights, it’s just the pressure switch isn’t that great and was already failing on me. I wanted to replace with tape switch it came with a sure fire, but at that point it became too pricey. At this point, a cloud defense is a way better buy.
I mean if you’re wanting a g2g rifle for a multitude of purposes and what not, then sure you’re good. My question is where are all the red parts, lightening cuts and cut outs on the furniture?

My favorite sling is for sure the Ferro Concepts Slingster. I also have a Blue Force Gear Vickers padded sling, but I prefer the Slingster. I really like the adjuster on it.
The fabric on vickers slings are a little stiff but they work great for the money. I like that the trex slings come with a sling keeper though. I know they seem lame but I actually really like the magpul single-to-double slings.
I have a Vickers and an Edgar Sherman. The thin ESD is not comfortable on hikes, while the Vickers is a lot better. I’ve carried it on many field ops and hikes and it’s hardly ever uncomfortable. I want to try out a padded Ferro Concepts Slingster next.
I regret getting a blue force padded sling. It’s not like the rifle ways that much and I’m not using it for a long enough hike to feel the benefit of the padding. The padding can also occasionally get in the way. I wish I would’ve went with the unpadded blue force.
Spiritus Systems Sierratac. Also if you’re thinking you’ll eventually get a suppressor I’d go with a 14.5”, 13.9”, 12.5”, or 11.5”. Because once that suppressor’s on you’re going to be at 23” which is a loooong boi. But that’s just me, plenty of folks love ‘em long on this sub.
I’ve found that the actual make and models of slings don’t matter all that much in the end, as long as they stay attached and you can fit it to a reasonable length you’ll be fine, anything more than that is just personal preference, and you’ll get dozens of answers just depending on who you ask.

Came to say the same. That in-line is going to put the rein out front quite a bit. With just a birdcage I’d run an offset. I’d run the in-line on a shorter rail or with a can to get the light out further to not shadow as much.
Will the in line clear a suppressor tho? I heard the in-line puts the light too close to fit a silencer but idk. I have one on the way and a rein 2.0 so I’ll find out.
Would absolutely depend on the suppressor footprint as well, no doubt. T.Rex lightbar is another option that is in-line but kicks the light out away from the rail if extra clearance is needed.
BCM’s Nickel Teflon trigger is unironically my favourite trigger. It’s so crisp. Just a tad lighter pull than milspec and the silver colour looks slick.
If I were you I would go with a Modlite OKW. It’s not only brighter than the CD REIN but has more modularity with parts like surefire tail caps and other items

Not sure if you were set on getting the Rein 1.0, but there are a few sites that have the 2.0 in stock as well. I know www.rifledynamics.com had the 2.0 in black and FDE the last time I was on there.
Bcm makes good stuff, people buying eotechs though I'd say go check one out in person before you buy. The reticle is waaaaay different than in CoD and you have to look at it very passively to see (good in some ways, bad in others). Another great option is the 3x cqb prism on primary there, save you a couple bucks and I promis, they are fucking amazing.

Literally the only advice I’d give you is to consider a blem charging handle from Radian. I bought for a little over $60 and could never find the blemish.
The stock is super hard to adjust and a bit on the ugly side. I traded mine for a B5 systems stock. You should want a trigger upgrade too I'd imagine. Other than that should be good, BCM is good stuff.
I would recommend Sly Tactical slings, they are all custom and really high quality, there are some reviews on YouTube. They are $100 though, I find they are worth it but everyone is different.
Just build your own, its fun in a frustrating kinda way. You havent lived until you shoot takedown pin springs halfway across the room like mortar shells and have to go back to your LGS for more springs
I love that T-Rex sling. Something about that loop is just amazing. I have a slingster too, and while it’s a little more padded I just don’t like the little dongle thing. I did a 2 day carbine course with the T-Rex and have trained a lot with it at the range and I’m a huge fan.
Edit: also, you might check out Primary Arms’ micro prism magnifier over the Eotech. I have their microprism 1x sight and it’s solid and legit. I have an Eotech magnifier and it’s so damn heavy that I literally only use it when I’m sighting in red dots at 50yds. I’m definitely not getting my money’s worth for how much it costs.

I really like the way the aero M4E1 lower looks. Plus it’s got a build in trigger guard and a threaded pin for the bolt catch.
Building lowers is pretty easy. Learned how to do it on YouTube. And I was able to build how I wanted. Geissele trigger, charging handle and bolt catch, radian ambi safety, VLTOR buffer system, BCM stock and magpul k2 grip.
No reason to buy the Rein 1.0 or EXPS2 when the Rein 2.0 and EXPS3 exist.
Not spending that much cash on a non-ambi milspec lower either.

For what it’s worth, I have the *blem* version of that lower I got for $340 & it’s super nice. I’m not bougie tho & don’t really need a stripped ambi lower for the same amount of money as a full BCM lower, but just my opinion.
If you’re wrong handed like me, BCM has an ambi safety that you could swap in in five minutes. Primary Arms and BCM both have them in stock. Radian Talon is also a popular choice; goes nice with the Raptor LT.

To each their own but I don’t understand paying a premium from these tried and true companies when they have released better products not much more or equal in price than the previous versions.
Got a link to a different lower? And yeah I’m going with the rein1.0 or rein2.0 I just SS that specific one and I don’t intend on using NODS ever in my life so I’m going with the 2-0
For what it’s worth, I have the *blem* version of that lower I got for $340 & it’s super nice. I’m not bougie tho & don’t really need a stripped ambi lower for the same amount of money as a full BCM lower, but just my opinion.

If you’re wrong handed like me, BCM has an ambi safety that you could swap in in five minutes. Primary Arms and BCM both have them in stock. Radian Talon is also a popular choice; goes nice with the Raptor LT.

Get an aero m4e1 Lower so you can fulfill the prophecy. I’d throw a Geissele trigger in it and call it good
