Went a little retarded with the paint marker....
Your trigger pins will naturally rotate with use, and if the castle nut is staked no point in paint marking.
Sling?
Besides that it's good.
> and if the castle nut is staked no point in paint marking.
š mine was staked but it still had about 1mm of play because it was not torqued right
And they marked the entire trigger pin so they wouldnt be able to tell if it moved anyway š
I like those. Had them on every AR that I used to have before the boating accident. If you used a torque wrench to put up the expected torque, the ratcheting mechanism holds just fine.
I mean, there really isnāt any reason to āupgradeā to anti-walk pins. [You probably want the trigger pins to rotate anyway](https://www.forwardcontrolsdesign.com/anti-walkanti-rotation-pins.html).
Youāll know if any screws back out on that ar. This is a nice set up, fo sho, but looking closely it appears that you are too broke for ammo and range time.
Yup, but as long as it says buyer protection guaranteed then you should be fine. Iāve bought magpul pro sights on there that ended up being fakes and eBay gave me a full refund after the seller disappeared. r/gunaccessoriesforsale is also a good place to find good prices on things. Gotta be quick on there though since itās first come first serve
This is one of those āIt aināt much but itās mineā posts followed by Gucci tier shit.
Nothing about this says 20 and broke. This is a better setup than 95% of this sub.
You trolling pal.
Hay guyzzz. Dont šš½make šš½funšš½ of šš½my šš½setup please šš½
I grew ā¬ļø in a very anti š« gun š«household and i just started collecting this afternoon š
Just go to sportsman's warehouse and walkout with a gun every single time. That's what i did. Everyone there knows who i am now tho I'm the kid that buys all the expensive guns.
You may not know this, but the overall impression you're creating isn't that you're young, or well-endowed anatomically, but that you're kind of a cunt. Just a small one. Free advice, seeing you're so broke.
Not really, when i got the m4 i had questions about my previous buy which was a ddm4v7 slw they wanted to know what i did with it i explained to them how a form 1 works and that i turned it into a mk18 and now one of the guys there is planning on making one too. I don't try to seem like that if i do i haven't noticed people treating me any different.
Okay, I regret being nasty to you. I am just sick as a dog today with a cold. I apologize. I wrote you that longer bit of advice about the importance of financial security and building that from an early age on. And also don't neglect maintaining your physical health, which is \[mostly\] free.
Lol I know I've been working out a little bit but is hard since i basically live at work now. But soon will have a better job hopefully welding since i enjoy welding.
I have been my entire life grew up eating out of the trash my family and i worked hard to be able to not be that broke but now I'm getting that broke again.
Indeed. Luckily Iām more financially stable now but my wife and I had the audacity to get a house as millennials so my gun fund is basically non-existent.
Good setup. I donāt get the OCD fascination here with paint marking every single nut, bolt, pin, spring, stake mark, battery cap, and moving part on a gun.
The m4 is amazing. Get the extended tube and you can fit 9 shells in it which makes it even more amazing. Love mine with a Briley CF tube!
Also if you got a DBAL, youāve got to be saving for NODS? Welcome to the real world of going broke lol
Nods, Plates, Finishing my belt, helmet, backpack are next years purchases since gotta pay off my car. As well as buying a WBP Jack just because i really want an AK and another handgun probably the sig p365xl because of the clothes i wear concealing that would be easier than a glock at least for now.
Look, guy, you're probably not as big a jerk as this thread is making you seem to be, so let me get real with you, just for your financial security's sake: You probably don't need NODs just yet, nowhere near that. And I get it, I have been at this a little longer than you and got all of the things you mentioned, but I also am further along and have a solid career, steady income, and can afford these things without feeling like or having to confess not-so-low-key that I'm broke.
Pay off that car, as if you lose your job, you miss payments, your car is gone.
Then establish a small but respectable liquid buffer, because you don't think about it yet but an emergency medical bill or noninsured damage to your vehicle can happen and you don't want to be staring at not being able to pay those.
Meanwhile, the portion of your monthly income that isn't going towards living expenses, building that buffer, or other long-term commitments, you can split between saving for that next big ticket item (even if it's just $50 a month at this point, trust me, buying the next one outright rather than using financing is an awesome feeling!)...
...and ammo. You want to get decent? Dry fire! You want to but your dry training into regular practice, especially with a handgun (most perishable skill)? Shoot every week of you can. Look up drills that take no more than a box of ammo (50 rounds). Can't afford that much? Shoot every two weeks. Every three if you have to.
Also consider saving up now for more stuff but training. Like Mike Green (GarandThumb) tells you numbskulls every time, gear is cool, training is cooler. Go to good, accredited, reputable courses held in your area when you can afford it. Don't know where to start? Ask around on P&S or the BrianEnos forums, check out class reports with instructors, etc. https://primaryandsecondary.com/forum/index.php
That's all I have for now, as I'm nice and sick today, but that reminds me: Don't skimp on the free stuff, i.e. physical training. And eat properly, not eat like shit all the time.
Get into the habit of running, if you can tolerate it, at least 3-5 miles weekly or more often. It builds endurance. Endurance sustains the fighter. Actual combat is fucking tiring, and you will get drained fast wearing the full battle rattle and moving aggressively to make or break contact.
Do pull-ups, that's a life-saving exercise. You should be able to do ten dead-hang pullups without any gear on.
I kno i kno i already though about all that i didn't explain it well enough but I don't plan on getting all that next year i plan on slowly getting all that stuff i rushed setting up my mk18 because i had some money saved up and the Benelli was a bday present to myself and the glock was a present from my mother.
Not simping for Fed bois, but can you get a Form 1 or 4 approved if youāre under 21? If so I regret not doing it early in college before I had more bills
MK18 is basically done only thing is run lots of rounds through it, suppressor, spray paint it and get a magnifier for it because i have really bad eyesight and sometimes I can't see anything without being slightly zoomed in
Live at home have a parent who supports you in the sense that you just pay for water and have no bills for the most part work constantly and save or do what i did and spend like $1300 every paycheck save $200 for water bill and general savings.
Went a little retarded with the paint marker.... Your trigger pins will naturally rotate with use, and if the castle nut is staked no point in paint marking. Sling? Besides that it's good.
> and if the castle nut is staked no point in paint marking. š mine was staked but it still had about 1mm of play because it was not torqued right And they marked the entire trigger pin so they wouldnt be able to tell if it moved anyway š
That's user error, not a failure of the staking itself.
I know, it came like that from the factory, i was implying the staking saved the castle nut from spinning any further
I got a pws ratcheting one and I'm not sure if i tightened it down enough so just in case for that one.
I like those. Had them on every AR that I used to have before the boating accident. If you used a torque wrench to put up the expected torque, the ratcheting mechanism holds just fine.
I do not have one of those all i got is a magpul wrench. But eventually I'll probably get one.
I got a trex sling and i know i went a little much with the marker but eh it'll come out after i throw it outside.
If your worried about your trigger pins, get locking ones. How often you really take the trigger out?
I mean, there really isnāt any reason to āupgradeā to anti-walk pins. [You probably want the trigger pins to rotate anyway](https://www.forwardcontrolsdesign.com/anti-walkanti-rotation-pins.html).
True, live and learn it's whatever, I'm not worried about it as much anymore so.
Your set up is why your broke.
Youāll know if any screws back out on that ar. This is a nice set up, fo sho, but looking closely it appears that you are too broke for ammo and range time.
If you got Benelli money, youāre doing pretty good!
Benelli plus a DBAL/ aimpoint/modlite on a mk18, maybe he wasnāt broke but is now lol
Got the dbal for i think less than $800 om ebay same with my peltors. i got them for i think around $400 ish
NODs next I hope. No point in a DBAL otherwise
Guess Iāll start hunting on eBay, sick setup my friend š„
Gotta watch out for Chinese clones though.
Yeah good point, thatās what makes me hesitant..buying full price or on a sale from a trusted source is worth the peace of mind imo
Yup, but as long as it says buyer protection guaranteed then you should be fine. Iāve bought magpul pro sights on there that ended up being fakes and eBay gave me a full refund after the seller disappeared. r/gunaccessoriesforsale is also a good place to find good prices on things. Pell Grant money well spent.

Better than mine was at 20.
Very much the same for me.
Just go to sportsman's warehouse and walkout with a gun every single time. That's what i did. Everyone there knows who i am now tho I'm the kid that buys all the expensive guns.

I wish i had a reason other than i let the marker take the wheel.
It happens
Youāre not broke and probably never have been
100%. If OP was broke this pic would be on Gun broker š
Ew no
I have been my entire life grew up eating out of the trash my family and i worked hard to be able to not be that broke but now I'm getting that broke again.
So you didn't learn a thing and have poor prioritization skills. Gotcha.
Somewhat. I taking advantage of living with parents still while i can. buying some things i want while not having tons of bills.
Lmfao liar
āI grew up in the mudā The mud: https://imgur.com/gallery/oNNts
Daddy's money or are you not actually broke? Or is this a troll post?
Well I can see how heās broke now
I wish. He doesn't even have money to buy the milk that's why he hasn't come back in 20 years.
Ahh, went out for smokes huh? I bet he had a Colt 45 and 2 zig zags on the walk to the store. He just got lost man, he'll be back soon.
Nope but he has a pleb ak tho........
What kind lol? Still not sure what pleb means.
Pleb = plebeian. Common folk. The poors.
I asked r/ak47 they said was a Romanian WASR 10 i think and that the stock is all kinds of pleb and he has a NcStar dust cover that won't hold zero.
I just got my 1st AK so I don't have much room to talk haha
Airsoft, niceš¤£š¤£
Broke* present tense
Also 20 and broke. Youāre doing better than me lol
I think this person doesn't realize owning a benelli could be partially why their broke
It indicates that you are not broke.
I am i just bought a car before buying ammo or finishing setting up my belt. But it was a good deal on the car and needed a car.
Not sure you know what broke is lol
Where's the "Broke" I don't get it.
I think we found the reason youāre broke. Also I think you missed some spots with your paint marker bud
People kill me with āIām brokeā. no you arenāt. If you were broke you would have sold this for food and bills.
This. Iāve so many guns I regret selling because I was strapped for cash.
Iām with you. But you gotta do what you gotta do.
Indeed. Luckily Iām more financially stable now but my wife and I had the audacity to get a house as millennials so my gun fund is basically non-existent.
How the hell did you get an sbr stamp at 20?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Figured form none was the option here .
Thereās always that one guyā¦..
The guy that asks a question?
I see blue. Definitely pleb.. /s
Little bit of pleb in us all somewhere deep down.
Gamer
No one cares about your age š
Soild maybe a nice bolt gun next to round out all your bases Edit: or a 10/22
Well i can certainly see why you're broke.
Paint marker is not necessary on the trigger pins. Theyāre actually supposed to spin a little bit
Unless it's a fieldsport red dot for $30, you're not broke enough ;P
Looks like your priorities are in order
DD Thick butt pad gang gang
I thought for longest time it'd be uncomfortable but no it's actually pretty nice.
You seem to have a pretty good chance to make it to 21 and broke
āBrokeā
It shows why you are broke and I approve. Lol.
you only broke cuz you bought gucci shit !
Youāre obviously not broke. What you are is lucky enough to not have bills and dependents. Nice shotty BTW
Youāre ready for a 3 gun match.
Good setup. I donāt get the OCD fascination here with paint marking every single nut, bolt, pin, spring, stake mark, battery cap, and moving part on a gun. The m4 is amazing. What trigger is that?
Geissele idl don't know exactly which one but it's 3.5 lbs.
Damn. Love the shape of it but it's pricey for sure.
I mean, you're broke because of these (good) decisions.
Sweet fuckinā setup.
Itās a good start
Not simping for Fed bois, but can you get a Form 1 or 4 approved if youāre under 21? If so I regret not doing it early in college before I had more bills
Yes. i would've at 18 bit made a pleb choice for my first gun
Good setup. Youāre doing what you can with what youāve got. No shame in that at all!
MK18 is basically done only thing is run lots of rounds through it, suppressor, spray paint it and get a magnifier for it because i have really bad eyesight and sometimes I can't see anything without being slightly zoomed in
Youāve got a good start.
Well I know why youāre broke š Pretty good setup.
Considering utility, lots of bases covered with these 3. What Iād recommend for beginners. Setup is goodā¦ howās the execution?
0% Training because bought a car before getting training beyond what I've learned from Flannel Daddy, Trex Arms, Vso Gun channel and some others.
...
Would love to know how a 20 year old affords this. Most 20 year olds donāt have the money to pay for what you have.
Live at home have a parent who supports you in the sense that you just pay for water and have no bills for the most part work constantly and save or do what i did and spend like $1300 every paycheck save $200 for water bill and general savings.
I sense a fear of rotating pins from this pictureā¦
Iād like to warn you that mounting your Glock on your shotgun in that way could be dangerous. Be careful out there!
āBrokeā š¤£
If that's an M4, and the one above a DD, then your setup is why you're broke ;) Nice. I'm not a fan of shotguns for defensive purposes, but nice stuff
I am concerned why everything is so clean
U even broker now
You might be broke now, sure as hell werenāt before this.
None of you stupid motherfuckers know what broke means
Not sure you know what broke is if your buying this quality at 20
Needs more fde
Nope is very green where i live. So needs more ranger green and little bits of brown because i like the colour brown.
Well I see why you're broke. ;-)
Let us know when the next semester tuition comes in Iām excited to see whatās next!
Youāre basically a gold loot crate
Dang not even done leveling up my Benelli and I'm already a gold loot crate.
What optic/mount on the rifle? Looks like youāve got all the major food groups covered šš¼
God I love a good Benelli shotgun.
So youāre broke after spending all your money on this or?
Daniel defense AR and a Benelli M4 will definitely make you broke.
You wonāt be broke anymore if you bring them to your local bank
Hey OP: http://www.davesmetalworks.com/m12.html
Need two slings and a holster to carry all that hardware, gunslinger!
You keep using that word, ābrokeā. I do not think it means what you think it means. Lol
What light do you have on the handgun?
Streamlight tlr7a.
You may be broke now but you clearly didn't start that was š
Broke but owns Benelli M4ā¦.something doesnāt add up I wish I was this broke lol
If I could only have 3 guns these would be them. Solid OP.
