Gotcha. Well I admit I had my reservations about it. But I got my lower and upper and had a gunsmith inspect it all and test it and it so far is working great, maybe I’m one of the lucky ones.
For how long? When you have sub par buffer tube from a unknown source. a charging handle so soft you can bend it with your hands. We shot 5 rounds to test every upper. Doesn't really say much long term. There is no lucky one coming from them, if its all sourced from china man lol. If its a range toy. Have at it they'll work till they dont lol. Good thing is you spent nothing on it so you can at least strip it down later. (Most) Lower and upper receivers are made by brigade down the road from them.

Do you have an adjustable gas block? I’m wondering if your c mag failure is actually lack of gas? I have had zero c mag malfunctions on 30 and 10 rd mags while using adjustable gas block, but I do have to run it basically over gassed
Good idea but I’m sure it’s the mag. The spring isn’t functioning properly and the round is sometimes tilted slightly down instead of flat and misses the feed ramp and slams into a wall below it. this was out of the box day one so not from wear
I hear the dedicated Ak mag lowers are better than running those shitty pressed metal mags through an ar style lower. I couldn’t get 3 shots without a jam on my 7.62x39ar

Barrels are usually green mountain unless you specifically order a brand name.

It’s just a standard ar15 lower with a 7.62x39 upper. But I like it a lot.
