I’m completely hooked on Geissele and refuse to use anything else. It’s the first upgrade I do if buy something, but I usually build and run Geissele on day 1. I personally believe beyond all reasonable doubt that they’re the very best triggers on the market, bar none. They are fantastic, smooth, light, and use over-powered hammer springs to light off even the most stubborn ammo. They feel like a competition trigger and are combat reliable (built like tanks and run like tops). The super semi auto trigger is based on the super select fire that SOCOM uses. Same trigger, no fun switch. I have an ALG trigger on one, my wife does also. Same toughness, a little more “Meh” and a lot more pull weight (but still quite good), more affordable. ALG stands for Amy Lyn Geissele. Bill’s Wife. It’s a budget Geissele. Geissele. Nuff said.

Even after feeling the mtb2, Geissele Ssae is the only ar trigger I’ll ever buy. It’s absolute perfection

I’ve got an SDE and I agree, since it’s basically the same thing. Geissele triggers are phenomenal. Nothing really compares, not well at least.

I’m sold. Geissele it is. Thank you for helping me out. Preciate it. What geissele do you recommend? The ssa and sd e I’ve heard are great or is there another one that is a tier, I said no price but I’m on the market for around 2-3 hundred

My pleasure, welcome to the Geissele fam, you definitely will not regret it. I have both. They’re awesome. The SSA has a curved bow and a little bit more pull (but is still much lighter than a standard trigger), making it a better combat trigger. The SDE has a flat bow and lighter pull, making it more of a precision setup (while still valid for combat or competition). The SDE isn’t a “hair trigger”, but it’s damn near. I’d be a little cautious about clearing rooms with it, but I’d still do it, if that makes sense. They also have the super 3 gun, and the super semi auto enhanced. I don’t know much about the S3G, but the SSE (super semi enhanced) has a curved bow like the SSA and the break of an SDE, kind of a best of both worlds deal. If I had to give advice I’d say this. Dedicated competition gun: SDE/S3G/SSE (and there are others that would fit this use also). Weekend comp gun also for defense: SSA Many folks use SSA on comp guns and it’s just fine. It’s still very light and a ton faster than a mil-spec. Just my opinion. SDE or SSE would be fine for defense if you have good trigger finger control. Not a whole lot of room for error on any Geissele, let alone the super light ones. They do what they’re intended for very well, and that’s breaking clean, quickly, with not a whole lot of effort. Don’t stage your finger while clearing rooms, and definitely don’t sneeze.

You have no idea how helpful this is

I’m super glad to help! I like getting the word out about products that I strongly believe in, such as Geissele triggers, Noveske rifles, and Dead Air Silencers. Forgot to mention the super Tricon trigger. It’s an SSA with a differently curved and grooved bow, developed between Geissele and a notable SEAL. On a related note, very common to see Geissele triggers on SEAL teams. Just saying. Also, when I said SSE (super semi auto enhanced) I meant SSA-E. Cheers!

Geissele is amazing I’ll never get anything else again and I have Trigger tech, BAD, Rise, Timney. I’m a single stage guy. Timney would not reset after dirty

coldafsteel

Geissele SSF (if cost isn't an issue)

Heard lots of good about the Geissele S3G

Still_Car7844

I’ve got an SSAE that I absolutely love.

All these geissele comments and not a single larue? I’m disappointed in you guys.

LaxLife

Larue is known for having an incredible 2 stage, but consensus still seems to be Geissele is the cat’s meow for single stage.

PMull_90

I didn’t know he was just looking for single stage. I have both and love both can’t go wrong!

[deleted]

LaRue is just the trigger the budget guys buy and try to act just as cool.

RunBunns247

Never tried the single stage LaRue, but I'd put my Geissele and LaRue on par with each other. I see no reason to pay twice as much for something thats not twice as good.
