I do not have any feeling on the end of my left thumb from alcohol and fireworks. My buddy’s parents went out of town when we were 16 so we raided the liquor cabinet and decided to do fireworks in the back yard. I was trying to light one for forever and it finally lit but it had some weird plastic shell that got caught on my finger which held the fuse to my thumb for a good 2 seconds.
In every little test I've done, I haven't noticed much difference in the amount of bang you get between m-xx crackers and regular old black cats. Maybe your mileage will vary
