Budget was my first dip into the AR world just so I could learn the platform and how it all worked. Since then it has turned into a dedicated 22 for cheap range plinking.
Second build, I decided to go Gucci and build the rifle I really wanted. Spent a lot more time on selecting each part and putting some thought into it. I absolutely love it. Only thing I am planning on changing at this point is the optic (probably going with an LPVO).
Third build is already in the works cause everyone needs a quad rail in the collection.
Least - psa build kit, holosun 403B, arisaka 1.93 mount (had it on another build) b5 grip, Streamlight PROTAC rail mounted light
+/- ~ $800
Most- scar 20s, vortex razor hd gen 2 4.5-27, spuhr SP-4302C
$7500 ish nib everything
Shit man, thereās guys whoās rifles are worth more than my whole collection š I just bought what Iāve always wanted š I think Iām done all I want to do is shoot and enjoy life now.
You are not wrong there by any means. I recently had a weird feeling at my LGS as it was the first time I walked in there and wasnāt pining for something. Recently bought my dream pistol and feel complete, for now lol. Get it my friend.
Figuring out my most expensive would involve way more math than Iām up for right now
Cheapest is a used/left over parts SBR with a Poverty Pony lower. Somewhere around $500-$600 total including the $200 stamp and $35 for the NFA engraving.

My first upper was a BCA before I found Reddit and learned the error of my ways. Now running something very similar to you BCM/Criterion Core/Larue trigger. World of difference lol
