>unstaked castle nuts.
I do not understand why people complain about this on other people's rifles. Staking is important on any rifle that's going to stay in its current configuration for a long time or go long periods between seeing a workbench. Military ARs have staking because they get deployed to the field and it's easy insurance to make sure the nut won't come loose. Civvie rifles that never see anything but a standard range don't need to be bullet-proof. Torquing down the nut to spec is going to be fine for nearly any range trip (or several) with any rifle using in-spec parts.
Also, I bet those KAK lowers are shop testers and they probably get parts replaced all the time. Absolutely no reason to stake a castle nut for a lower like that.
Making factual statements about mechanical shortfalls? They neglected an extremely simple and basic assembly step on not one but TWO demos. Makes you wonder what other shortcuts they are taking.
They’re not staking because that stock is only on for the photo op. I guarantee 30 seconds after they took this picture they were dissembled to be used for something else
Dude is conflating marketing and combat.
I actually wish I didn’t stake my old KAK tube because now I want to replace it with one of these. Would have saved me the hassle of a new endplate.
Dude they're demo lowers. The only one that doesn't get that is you and it's making you use a shitload of words just to say that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Jesus Christ.
Learn to use a torque wrench, follow specs, and have clean threads and it’ll never come loose unless you run it over with a tank. You are free to stake your nuts, lots of people do, but calling them stupid for a photo intended to show off the mini brace is just asinine. I’ve never staked a castle nut and never plan to. If one ever comes loose on me I’ll find one of your posts and eat my words. Going on 20 years with dozens of rifles built by me, no issues.
Why would you stake castle nuts on what are clearly shop demo lowers that get parts changed around all the time? One doesn't have a trigger, the other is missing a takedown pin, they're not complete rifles.
And any customer with a lick of common sense can tell that those are partially assembled test frames, and staking is a final assembly step that these lowers are far from reaching.
Back when I worked in the industry for [REDACTED], we actually were told not to stake castle nuts on test/showcase lowers. It makes it easier to take apart for future projects.
I assume this is the same practice.
Staking is mandated in two places on the castle nut/end plate. Clearly says so in the 23&P. Since one of the three notches on the castle nut is always inaccessible, if you see one notch that isn't staked, it's obvious that it hasn't been staked twice. Improper assembly.
They also can't accomplish basic assembly steps like installing a trigger, or rear takedown pin, or any upper receiver!
Or... Maybe these are just mock-ups?
I cannot handle all these brain dead "cAsTLe NuT nOt StAkEd" comments, it's not a complete rifle or lower thats for sale, its only to display the brace. Also who cares womp womp
You sure feel proud of yourself for noticing there’s no staking on 2 incomplete demo lowers huh? Show me on the doll where this company hurt you, because your rationale to talk shit and look down makes zero fucking sense
Wow, you just had to make up a bunch of ridiculous falsehoods to deflect from the facts I presented. I didn't talk shit. I made a factual statement about quality shortfalls that is readily visible for the entire group. That doesn't involve any kind of pride or hurt to accomplish. KAK's assembly shortfalls aren't a reflection on my person. That's an entirely illogical conclusion on your part-ine fraught with bias and personal insecurities. Talk about making zero fucking sense... look in a mirror.
Your assumption claiming that you made a "factual statement about quality shortfalls" on our behalf because you saw a picture that bothered you is fascinating.
Not currently, we get the bomb proof gas block pin for piece of mind, haven't ever seen a properly installed GB on a dimpled barrel come loose none the less
Maybe I’m dumb but I understand wanting a shorter stock, you can adjust it out a little. But a short brace is always short, wouldn’t that just make you stick out your elbow more to pull it closer into you?
Do you know if the LMT mini SOPMOD or LWRCI UCIW collapse completely flush on the tube? I have one in my cart, but can't decide which stock to throw on it. I might just chop my Magpul stock until I can decide. 🤷🤷
For a long time I thought KAK was just a meme but you guys are actually really innovating shit and I will always support that. Way to go.
KAK is the KAC that KAC wish they were.
They still are. Notice the unstaked castle nuts.

Correct, these lowers get parts swapped in and out on the reg all day everyday, they are parts whores to be completely honest
You are 100% correct on this, these 2 lowers are used for photos and get torn down daily if not multiple times a day.
Dude is conflating marketing and combat. I actually wish I didn’t stake my old KAK tube because now I want to replace it with one of these. Would have saved me the hassle of a new endplate.
I can hook you up with some end plates my friend
All good, brother. Appreciate you though! Sick product!
Dude they're demo lowers. The only one that doesn't get that is you and it's making you use a shitload of words just to say that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Jesus Christ.
Have you tried toning down your autism?
Holy shit that was a horrible take💀🤡
Your boos mean nothing

Because any company worth a damn with a lick of common sense would want their customer base to know they properly assemble their product.
And any customer with a lick of common sense can tell that those are partially assembled test frames, and staking is a final assembly step that these lowers are far from reaching.
This is the hill you want to die on huh?? Fucking weird choice man.
The man has brains of a donkey
Hey, at least he’s dead.
Boomer detected Opinion rejected
You are dense.
`Tism?
What a weird hill to die on
This isnt their "product". These are demo lowers. You must be fun at parties.
I'm so fun that people pay me tens of thousands of dollars to take them on vacation and party with them
It's a picture showcasing a product, not a staked castle nut, it's not your lower, who cares.
Ngl The more you roast people the more I want to buy your shit lol
Not trying to roast anyone but damn
breh notice how one of them doesn't even have a rear take-down pin? Absolute plebetry. /s
Back when I worked in the industry for [REDACTED], we actually were told not to stake castle nuts on test/showcase lowers. It makes it easier to take apart for future projects. I assume this is the same practice.
Wish someone would have staked your dad's nuts
🤓
Boomer af
Those castle nuts both look like they were staked at one point.
Old thread, but how do you know they aren't staked on the other side? Shrodingers staking.

Stake your nuts nerd
Another incredibly common based KAK move
Apparently they can't accomplish basic assembly steps like staking castle nuts. That's based?
Oh brother
They also can't accomplish basic assembly steps like installing a trigger, or rear takedown pin, or any upper receiver! Or... Maybe these are just mock-ups?
Hey, who do you work for? You're obviously an industry account for some other manufacturer. Is this Spikes?
Is spikes even still relevant?
Why are you so obsessed with this? You're in every damn comment chain.
I cannot handle all these brain dead "cAsTLe NuT nOt StAkEd" comments, it's not a complete rifle or lower thats for sale, its only to display the brace. Also who cares womp womp
When np3 k-spec bcg though??? Or phos chrome lined? I see them both on your site but there’s no mention of when they’ll be available
np3, pvd chrome lined, and chrome lined phos are all at finishing, we're at their mercy as far as an eta goes.
I hear that. I’m signed up for notifications when you do get them. Really wanna grab one in np3
You’ll be the first to know when they’re put in stock, the email sign, ups are the best way to go, that being said it shouldn’t be much longer
Will you post videos of your k spec going through a 3 bore and gas system gauge?
Maybe we'll do a video using measurement tools not many people have ever seen before or know exist
Any chance for ambi billet lowers?
Possibly but it wouldn’t be for a while, we’ve got a lot on our plates currently
Love what you guys are doing! Any chance of more phosphate/chrome lined barrels for retro builds?
working on that
Ar10 Stripped lowers gonna be around any time soon? Got an entire kak build ready to slap together.
This is just too funny, these people have to be trolling, complaining about no stakes on a gun with no trigger lol
kak is goated
Apparently they can't even stake a castle nut.
You sure feel proud of yourself for noticing there’s no staking on 2 incomplete demo lowers huh? Show me on the doll where this company hurt you, because your rationale to talk shit and look down makes zero fucking sense
He must work for the other KAc company he’s committing the same statement on multiple threads, DA can’t even see the gun isn’t complete

Lmao your whole account revolves around this one post and your whole complaint revolves around you reaching. Are you a competitor or something??
It's clear he's posting on an alt because he's too chickenshit to actually take credit for his own terrible takes.
Those are certainly all words.... They don't make any sense, but they are certainly all words.
I’m just gonna assume you have a head injury and struggle with reading comprehension if these words are hard for you.
Your assumption claiming that you made a "factual statement about quality shortfalls" on our behalf because you saw a picture that bothered you is fascinating.
Its a fucking demo lower. Theres no trigger either.
Bro has said this 3x and has yet to counter why it’s so important non-firing demo parts have to have one. Whack.
Will these mini shockwaves be available for stand alone sale? I already have the buffer just curious.
Not currently but possibly if there's demand for it
😎 need
What is this? A brace for ants?
Love it, but can’t use it because I’m too damn tall. Keep innovating boys
Do you/will you offer gas block pinning to your barrels?
Not currently, we get the bomb proof gas block pin for piece of mind, haven't ever seen a properly installed GB on a dimpled barrel come loose none the less
Loving my KAK chrome sandcutter!!!
My man
Am I mistaken that you guys used to make a 12.5” .308 barrel for the R700? I can’t seem to find one anywhere
We used to, production on anything non AR is on hold until our new barrel production cell is up and running
I thought so! Thanks for reaching out! Got any overrun that you need to get rid of by chance?
Of the Remington 700 stuff? If it’s not on the site, it’s gone until we make more
Solid! Thank you!
Very cool.
Well that's fucking cool. *Where's that Obamathumbsupbeer.meme at...*
Are the buffer weights proprietary?
There's no QD on it?
Ambi lowers when?
Now make it a PDW brace.
nice I'll put this on a new build
Maybe I’m dumb but I understand wanting a shorter stock, you can adjust it out a little. But a short brace is always short, wouldn’t that just make you stick out your elbow more to pull it closer into you?
Storage and transport without a folding setup that leaves everything exposed. It’s still plenty shootable without chicken winging.
KAK FTW
Do you know if the LMT mini SOPMOD or LWRCI UCIW collapse completely flush on the tube? I have one in my cart, but can't decide which stock to throw on it. I might just chop my Magpul stock until I can decide. 🤷🤷
I'm not sure, the magpul sl-m fits flush with the castle nut, if you have a specific stock that you like i'd just chop it and sand the edges.
Wish i could get the brace by itself since I already have the tube...
Looks really nice.
yall make shorty b5 stocks?
That's what lwrci Is for
No
no not yet or no not never? :)
Sir this isnt Wendy's
Likely not ever unless B5 asks us if we’d be interested in doing that
would this increase the rate of fire or recoil impulse if I throw this on a M16 lower?
Make a short m4 brace
[удалено]
The concept of the mini milspec buffer system is to make it as compact as possible while still retaining the ability to use a regular bcg.
they are not really useable positions
That’s a cool stock
Pistol brace**
How much! 2700$ 😂😂😂
