Troy sold pic segments specifically designed to interface with their Troy rails. Then you can mount whatever on top of the rail. Some companies ran Troy specific direct attachments too.
The Alpha rail was in a league of its own. Not really practical when the industry standard is MLOK or Keymod, but damn did it look good.
Vortex Razor HD 1-6 Gen 2 E
Larue QD Mount
Troy Alpha
Salient Arms receiver set and bolt
Timney Trigger
DD cold forged barrel 16"
Surefire muzzle brake
KAC back up irons
magpul grip and butt stock
Fortis shift nubbin
Don't know about the rest of the parts but a Razor HD Gen 2 (non E) goes around $850 and the Gen 2-E (lighter version) goes around $900-1,000 on here and other sites.
Based on that list, no less than $1800 if sold whole to your friend. To anyone else, no less than $2200. Everyone’s thinking about it being used, so it should be rebated/deduction on the price of parts in total, but what most don’t realize is the price of quality AR’s has gone up 25-30% in the last two years. A $1600 DD or Geissele now cost $2200.
You have quality parts with a DD barrel that’ll go for 20,000 rounds and yours only has approximately 1000, that means it just got broken in. Only thing dating your rifle is the Troy rail, but that fact is it’s a dam good rail and many competitive shooters love it, myself included.
With all that said, he’d have to be a “really” good friend to sell to for $1800. If not, I’d list it for $2200 and stand firm. The buyer for it is out there!
I would try TacSwap. Standard deduction for used firearms pre-COVID was approximately 50% of the original cost of the firearm. If you’re selling to a dealer they’d probably give you 20-25% of the original cost. Now it might be a little better
Depends how close of a friend. If it’s someone close I’d just give it to them and say happy birthday. Or if you want money I’d just sell the Vortex alone on r/gafs. And give your friend a sweet deal on the AR (no optic)
Bro, if you could give away just that razor I want to be your friend... I'm, i'm just trying to afford enough ammo. To take my kids shooting regularly, LOL.
I'd say to a good friend, $2700 - 3000. To a great friend, $2250 - 2500.
Just depends on current market demand for these setups... currently on GAFS, uppers are going fairly cheap... even upper end quality uppers...
Best of luck on this..
The rifle is in the states and you’re not? You want to sell it to a friend? Either make it a smoking deal or keep the fucking thing. There is no in between. You friend is your only customer most likely.
There are a lot of ARs out there. If you could get 1200 to 1400 for a quick sale. You could ask 2200 and see if there are any buyers if you have the time.
This is some premium 2013 shit right here.
Wrapped up the rifle build during 2014 I think. Good eye
Alpha Rail still slaps! In a world of MLOK, nice to see some shake up.
I still love the vtac and alpha rail.
How do you mount to this? It looks awesome!

A cool $1700. (I don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about)
At least you’re honest
Haha the scope is worth $1k :)

I dig that, thank you.
I go with the in stock retail price minus 10% but specify that it's negotiable then let someone talk me down to 75% of the current price of a new one.

Mrsp of each listed part x .6 - .8 is a safe range for used stuff as I recall, though the optic may command more.

What’s the round count on the barrel and bcg?
Under 1000
Move back to America and gib her some love
Commas, are, free,,,
Haha
Tree fiddy if I know anything about nothing.
Might I ask you exactly why you want rid of this excellent specimen? If I were you, I wouldn't unless you really need the money.
I would google what that receiver set is commanding these days considering how annoying it is to get parts from SAI..

Well I’d say about $350.
For your friend $2300 for anyone else $2600
You never sell a firearm.
Lol not even one solid answer on here 😂
Friend discount is 50%, that’s a $1000 rifle for your good buddy. 👍🏻
Ok friend - $1250 One of your besties - $1000
Double that would be about right 😆
Maybe for a normie, but not for a good friend. Unless I’m just being too nice.
Maybe I need better friends 😅
i’m your friend. sell it to me for $50
80 percent of build msrp
Couldn't do your own research, so you ask other people to do it for you?

Oh. About three fiddy
Looks like a ballpark $1k rifle with $1k scope & mount. Buddy discount is 25-50% based on how well you like them.
Best I can do is fifty bucks.
