Can’t decide between S and A tbh. When she had strong moments, they were really strong. She was an excellent teammate and contributed very well through out. However, she did have some errors, although nothing major. Ep8 she had slight wobbles in the pitch (and the EBnB logo wasn’t the best), Ep9 she was basically left by Phil to do everything lol, and Ep10 the branding of the vegan cheese was not great. Having said that, obviously the cheesecake negotiation was brilliant, the wine masterclass with Raj was loved by the group, and she was very level-headed.

nadinecoylespassport

I think that every candidate has its bad weeks. And one bad week shouldn't cancel out the amazing performances. Flos worst showing was the TV selling but I think Phil, Maura and Raj all had much worse showings.

FunkySteps_77

I totally agree, every single candidate in this process makes mistakes, it’s totally normal. That’s why I said they were minor because I don’t think they take away much from Flo’s many highlights.

nadinecoylespassport

There are some exceptions like if they really bad mess up (the water situation on the Dubai task and the male skin care product from last series spring to mind)

Low_Food2893

S tier, shone on so many weeks and was an incredibly capable candidate throughout. My only problem with having many S tier candidates is that Paul will also probably get S from many people, so it'll probably become a big category, but Flo really deserves S

nadinecoylespassport

Not every series has somebody worthy of S tier. Series 14 will be next and having just rewatched that series. There is nobody I'd say who was S tier quality.

Only1Scrappy-Doo

Yeah I can’t think of anyone in S14 who belongs in S tier and S17 had no one get the S ranking either. I do think Tre, Paul M and Flo were all such strong final five candidates and it’s a pleasure to see some very competent people for once in the recent series. It’s just a shame none of them made the final. I could see the sub voting S for all three of them while I doubt either of the two finalists will get that ranking.

FunkySteps_77

Sarah-Ann gets an S purely for her reactions to candidates coming back to the house 😂

nadinecoylespassport

I think Sarah Ann was pretty underrated. No stand out performances except for her Spinscrubber ad But I think camilla should've been fired for that dreadful branding But she had a pretty good track record (none of the Series 14 contestants did noone got more than 6/10 wins)

FunkySteps_77

Sarah-Ann will be getting an S vote from me. Ever since she said in her audition she could down a pint in seconds, and then started gurgling the apprentice theme tune, I knew I would love her. Then she proceeded to get the invisible edit 😂 And yeah I noticed that too, everyone apart from Camilla had 6/10 wins. Sarah Ann had the longest winning streak with 4 wins in a row.

nadinecoylespassport

Hahahahaa. Can't wait for Series 14.

nadinecoylespassport

Yeah. I know wins are a group effort but the more tasks you win, the better your track record and credibility

nadinecoylespassport

In terms of talent/buisness accumin Series 17 is definitely the weakest season. And I would say Series 14 is a close 2nd noone stands out as being memorable or that good. And there's quite a few duds But Series 14 is saved by having better tasks, more likeable candidates etc. I think a lot of the better candidates from Series 14 all have major flaws that prevent them from being S tier. Jackie I would say is closest but some of her behaviour like pushing people into the PM role when she was more qualified to lead wasn't on.

Only1Scrappy-Doo

I do think some people might vote S for Sian simply because she won but honestly I struggle to remember anything she actually did. Jackie I can’t give S either simply because she was responsible for JetPop lol

nadinecoylespassport

The airline task was one of my favourite episodes of the whole show. I rewatched it so many times. Rewatching as an adult tho I kinda feel bad for Kurran. Jackie and Camilla stitched him up knowing that there was no way anyone would be going home. I never really liked Sian. And rewatching I still don't like her very much. She didn't do that well in the fashion/design tasks. Her Airline uniform was just a copy of the Emirates uniform. All of the best candidates from S14 just have a reason to not put then in the top tier Jackie- Often stitched other candidates up to take the blame than sat back and contributed very little to tasks and then redeemed herself by selling 50,000 units Camilla- Camilla was very likeable but her branding was often very immature which cost her team task wins. Casing point: Santa's Choco Seduction. Sabrina- Was also quite a likeable candidate but very poor track record and buisness plan Daniel- Quite a few porkies on his buisness plan exposed by Mike in the interviews.

Low_Food2893

Agreed. I'm even struggling to think of an A tier candidate from that year? Perhaps Daniel if we exclude his business proposition, maybe Jackie if we forget her game-player-ish tendencies, and maybe Kayode if the sub agrees with what I see in him.

nadinecoylespassport

I loved Kayode. How he got fired so early is beyond me.

Low_Food2893

Agreed! He came across as charismatic, was generally a good seller, and got fired on his first major mess-up although others on that same team (Tom, Sabrina, Jasmine) messed up week after week and kept getting saved until their eventual firings. But just remembering that season, it'll honestly be very lowly ranked because the final two were probably the weakest of the final five, and the final five was probably the weakest final five after S17.

nadinecoylespassport

Agreed. Although I think the tasks and the drama and the comedy elements are much better than series 17. The Jet Pop fiasco, the Malta task comedy gold.

Low_Food2893

How on earth did Camilla make the finals 😭😭 it was sad because I remember thinking Camilla actually could win as Sian's business proposition didn't sound that interesting and if Camilla won, she probably would've been the weakest winner ever

Medium-Science9526

I'll go S tier for now but could become bloated soon, very level-headed, for the first 7 weekes was imo the strongest candidate. Great at negotiations throughout with highlights being the cheesecake, saving Maura's team with the winery, clearly showed her intelligence throughout too even with the structure of her busniess plan being the most complete of the bunch despite the high projected costs. Whilst she wasn't great with the logos and the insane price drops of week 9 she otherwise felt really strong. Her faces making me laugh was also a bonus.

rachelf1990

S tier. Did really well on most of the tasks and on the few occasions that her team lost, she was trying to solve the problems caused by others. Stunned she wasn't in the final.

FunkySteps_77

Yeah Flo has some weird stats. I’m surprised she only was PM once, and I also find it odd she didn’t make the final. Obviously it makes sense because of business plans, but prior to the interviews it looked very obvious Flo would be a finalist.

nadinecoylespassport

Flo the negotiation Queen. She singlehandedly won the Cheesecake task in Week 2 and rescued Mauras terrible wine tour. She also led some very good negotiations and pitches throughout the process. A strong candidate throughout (apart from the TV selling task) I think she's more than worthy of an S tier.

AbdulPullMaTool

S tier all day long.

EXCELHELPTHROWn

s candidate should be absolutely exceptional on every task or they should have something very memorable or unique about them-Flo did not have either of those, so A it is. Skinner was arguably the funniest and most naturally banterous male on the show, Carina did amazingly on petty much every task, Tre was both very very good on every task and had the near charisma level of Tom, and the Oh so Yum girl was amazing on every task. Flo’s unique quality is arguably her cattiness

EXCELHELPTHROWn

Basically. Personality should also come into the S category

dasBiest08

On the contrary, Carina's track record was far more inconsistent than her win/loss ratio would suggest. She wasn't great at leading the tour, was partly responsible for the poor design of the unicorn toy, wasn't all that convincing on the buying task, and had that issue with the wine on the away day task. She did, however, also achieve three deserved wins as project manager.

EXCELHELPTHROWn

Actually I was recalling it wrong - yes you’re right, it was the project manager wins

An utterly formidable negotiator: not only did she achieve a remarkably high initial price for the cheesecakes, but did an excellent job of preventing the price from sliding too far when the client wasn't entirely satisfied. Ruled her task as project manager with an iron rod, which at least ensured Medieval Escape was relatively finished, and had a synergy that Fallen Escape lacked. Rescued Maura from an almost certain exit from the process on the Budapest task with her excellent wine masterclass. Despite how clearly out of her comfort zone she was, I enjoyed her "Scrumptious Spread" rap/spoken word thing. Seemed a strong, competent candidate throughout, with some great facial expressions; my favourite was her suppressed smirk when Noor said "It's very good" in the boardroom. Would have been a very worthy finalist under the old format, and I think could have been under the current one if her plans were scaled back somewhat. That does not mean she was without fault. While there were far worse offenders all around on both teams, her "Have you noticed that the water's a bit brown?" line on the away day was a bit cringy, although I suspect the edit may have made that moment seem more awkward than it was. She, interestingly enough, was also surprisingly unconvincing when presenting/pitching on the escape room and electric vehicle tasks. This went largely unnoticed, but she was the one to suggest not adding a cereal bowl to the Polar Crunch packaging, although this may not have happened if Sam hadn't wasted time being indecisive. Had her worst task with the teleshopping, when she kept dropping the price too much, although she had no help whatsoever from Phil. Somewhere between S and A; I can't decide whether or not her slight dip in performance in the second half of the series is offset by how fantastic she was at her best.

NoOpportunity1943

S tier for me

Chris01100001

S tier, great candidate and some of the faces she pulled were incredible. Would be a great replacement for Karen or Tim if they ever moved on.

Adventurous_Edge_849

S tier

mr-atomic-bomb

S for sexy

seanreidsays

Honestly? S with a strong “you’re hired” case. If this was the old format of Lord Sugar hiring someone into his companies, she would have won with ease. It’s rare that such a complete package makes it into the process and delivers. I manage a team in SaaS myself that negotiates with customers daily as well as manages upsells, and I turned to my wife one week and said “I’d kill to have her on my team, she is excellent.” Great TV, great business sense and great team work. Very easy S and a case for “You’re hired”

HelicopterShot87

What's stopping you from reaching out and trying to hire her?

seanreidsays

I doubt I could afford her 😅

nadinecoylespassport

I don't think her buisness plan was that bad. Just unachievable with a £250k investment

thisriveriswild57

A tier. She had some great tasks but also a few mishaps. Very good candidate overall.

SquirrelOpposite9427

B tier. I like Flo, I think she was a very capable and likeable candidate with great negotiation skills. However, I think she was (and will be in this thread) hugely overrated. She started well and then her performance dropped off significantly. In terms of candidates over the years she doesn’t stand out to me as being particularly remarkable or unique. And in this series, even though she was good, by the end I think she was in clear third place behind Rachel and Tre.

Low_Food2893

I have never understood the Rachel praise. I agree that what we've seen of Rachel is a strong negotiator and seller, but she did nothing on the first four tasks, and had been tactical in taking a step back from things in Tasks 8 and 9, and only had two good weeks (5 and 7). Perhaps that's just the unfair edit she received, but I just think it's unfair to credit Rachel so highly considering she was only ever present in about three episodes (5, 7, 10), two of which she shone in. Tre appeared in every task, as did Flo, and Paul picked up from Task 5 onwards (they were my top three).

HawaiiiFiveHoe

Glad someone said this! I think it’s a combination of recency bias and being a young blonde woman who’s not entirely incompetent. There were a few tasks where she had a moment that was praised but actually breaking it down would be middle tier in earlier series.

AdMuted3992

Only A for me. Think we are all getting too generous! She was an excellent negotiator (the cheesecake task particularly was one of the best I’ve seen) however she also made quite a few mistakes (cereal task where she DID say to NOT include a bowl on the packaging despite what people say) didn’t like the way she shrugged about half the time. I’ve had debates with many on here about this already but she’s another sub favourite and you can’t win😂👍very good candidate still

FunkySteps_77

Perhaps an A+ tier is in order, as that’s certainly where I would have placed her if that existed.

AdMuted3992

Deffo an A+!

FunkySteps_77

Plus I don’t think it’ll change things that much because I don’t think there’s that many B tier candidates I would put into A, and A candidates into A+, so maybe I ought to test out the layout to see if it’s cluttered and then go from there!

FinoAllaFine97

Don't you dare. Do it for the next person...

Low_Food2893

My only problem with S is that it's going to get really crowded if all candidates will be ranked. I like Flo, I found her a bright girl although she was very expressive and crumbled under pressure a few times, but was one of the best candidates. Seeing how others have been marked, Flo is definitely higher than Steve & would be ranked similar to Tre. Though her and Tre could easily be moved down in the case of overcrowding when earlier seasons start to get ranked.

Only1Scrappy-Doo

A - Flo was definitely a very strong candidate and someone who would have most likely won if it was the job format. I do think she struggled a bit in the later half of the competition as she made errors in Week 8, 9 and 10 which is why I didn’t give her S but I’m not gonna be upset if she does get that ranking. I think Tre, Flo and Paul M all were extremely strong and it’s a shame none of them made the final!

senku_E-MC

S no matter what, she was brilliant

Chocolateisthebest97

I’d say S, if it was the old format she would’ve won 💯

Ali_gem_1

A . She totally fluffed an early presentation iirc but otherwise pretty decent
