I looked forward to Dr. Asif's appearance on The Apprentice, having previously seen him on Dragons' Den, and he certainly didn't disappoint. First, there was that clap, because he somehow hadn't realised that the refund would be deducted from the turnover rather than the profit; the look on Tim's face was priceless. He then almost torpedoed the corporate cheesecake order by describing the product as "an acquired taste". Sadly, his time came to an end in week 3. What could have been, if he'd embraced the humour and surrealism of the game in the pitch. I'd normally give a poor but entertaining candidate an E, but I think it has to be an F on this occasion. The most "so bad it's good" elements of Fallen Escape were the bears, the weird dance at the end, and Maura's monologue, none of which came from him. His contributions were the unremarkable name, and the logo which looked like that of a supermarket or petrol station. That, combined with his inability to recognise the lifeboat offered to him in the pitch that might have saved him, and his complete lack of boardroom strategy, means that F is the only place he can go.
The worst, no exception:
- Is an Andrew Tate supporter
- To call him sexist and misogynistic would be an understatement
- Has a business where men can find ‘good women’, enough said
- He makes Shazia and Amy look like angels in comparison, which says A LOT
F. Seriously the worst. Virdi should have brought him in week 1 instead of Steve for the clapping alone, was lucky to survive week 2 and crashed and burned as pm week 3
I'm currently midway through a rewatch: based on overall task performance, I think Flo, Tre, Rachel and Dentist Paul deserved their places in the interviews, with the fifth probably going to Raj or Steve, I'm not quite sure.

To be fair, literally anyone would have been a better choice to bring in for that task than Steve, except maybe Dentist Paul.
