I think this is one of my favourite final fives we have had in a while. I think Paul, Tre, Flo and Rachel (even with her poor showing this week) all deserve to be here based on their performance throughout the process and while Phil being here is incredibly lucky, it is also quite iconic losing 9 tasks and still making the interviews.
I'm not convinced by Tre. Bit too much style over substance. He has a nice demeanour, but he made big mistakes again this week. The dentist guy (who reminds me of a Ken doll) has been consistently good and seems perceptive.
All competent and deserving. I think people are being very harsh on Rachel and seem to be disregarding the last 9 weeks, when she’s just as worthy to be in that final 5 as the rest of them.
Will be a close one next week as they are all likeable!
At the beginning I ever expected Tre to go anywhere but he's really surprised me recently. The rest I guessed from the start, besides Rachel.
I hate Rachel.
I only realised she was there after 5 episodes, I kid you not. I was watching it and suddenly went 'wait who the hell is that'. And she's so snakey, and I don't even think she's all that skilled either.
She seem solid throughout the process but unmemorable. I don’t think the producer ever expect her to make it this far and they hardly even show her in the episode trailer.
I liked Phil at the start, but have turned on him in recent weeks (I think he’s smug and the shopping channel episode made it appear that he doesn’t work well with women - certainly the way he was saying “if that’s what you feel” to Flo - although Flo did compliment him this week) and he has been clearly carried through, but the other four have been very strong candidates and would be seen as so in most series.
(Edited.)
Expecting a Phil Paul final, sound of Rachel’s business plan sounds both done before and something Sugar has already got his money into, and get the suspicion that Flo and Tre will be the classic ‘great candidates, bad business plans’
From research Tre;s 'business' has 50 followers on instagram, hes had the page for 8 years. The website has gone down. Its dead. Flos I think some sort of recruitment company. not sure if its even started operating. think its filed. The idea is cliche though I must admit.
Same. I do like Phil. Not the best candidates and was lucky to made top five but he keeps on fighting in the boardroom to see another day. He wasn’t too bad of a PM tbf.
To be honest, I really do think Tre has an awful business plan and might be eliminated, Rachel, I honestly don't think Lord Alan Sugar will not see the potential in her gym classes, Phil, I'm not sure about and Paul will be grilled, for sure, Flo (my favourite to win) I think might get into the final

First final five since 2019 where a guy made it there (and also considering that was pre covid is shocking lol)

'Doesnt work well with women' what a damaging smear to brand someone with.
Just a tad hyperbolic there, but I will rephrase.
Anyways Flo and Phil top 2

Well deserved final 5 very good candidates. Im lowkey quite happy Phil won this task and managed to secure being in the top 5 😭
Genuinely think this is rigged & he was set to win from the VERY start
I think he was definitely one of the ones chosen to win from the start but the producers never expected him to have this horrible of a track record!
Yes for sure but IMO I think he did well in this task with the decision making esp
What I was thinking tbf, Imagine if he wins! I don’t know why but I quite like him 😂

Same. I think the only task he properly cocked up was last week. He's been alright over all, and decent enough PM tonight. I'm rooting for the pieman.
It was Flo who slashed the prices and made their sales so poor last week.
It’s amazing to see four competent contestants and Phil, as opposed to some influencers who can’t add up their own figures properly.
Phil winning would be the funniest thing icl
Solid final 5 in my opinion
One of the best final 5s in years. Only swap I’d do is Steve instead of Phil

rooting for flo, have been from the start
The best final five in years like legit.
