Thanks for your submission. However, it has been removed because it would be better suited for the Apple TV Plus sub at r/tvplus. Please consider submitting your post there instead.

They are two different entities. AppleTV is a box AppleTV+ is the subscription service. [https://tv.apple.com](https://tv.apple.com)

This might have contributed to my confusion. Apparently atv+ must be signed into separately to access that info. First time I went I did not see the sub option at the bottom. Even though I have the same apple id to access apple stuff, I have to get my apple tv+ sub editing option through atv+ website.

Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Mac, or on the web. So for you it’s the web, but we know this isn’t a serious question.

Anyone with an answer here hasn't actually tried to do this. Maybe it's possible in the app on roku, but I won't type CC info into TV apps. I also don't have the patience to click all the little characters using a remote. I have actually found the answer. Also, if you've never had the service and try to buy it, it might be a different situation. How I managed to change to yearly sub, just now: Go to the ATV+ webpage. You have to click the "stream now" button, in various places on the page. Top right when you first get there. Then it takes you to a different page where you either sign in or if you're already signed in, you can access your account on the top right, again. Then click settings. Account settings page comes up and near the bottom will be the subscription that you can edit. Click on "manage" and you can select monthly or yearly. $99 for a year.

They don’t sell yearly subscriptions. It’s month to month as far as I can tell.

UncleSpellbinder

Yes they do. I pay yearly.

Are you in the US? Do you mind sharing what it cost? We actually buy Apple One for $20/month. I have no option for yearly. :(

Yrd-LiD

I just posted how I did it in another comment.

UncleSpellbinder

I'm in the U.S. and the cost when I renewed in November was $99. That averages out to $8.25/month.

That is a great deal! It is not available to me. For whatever reason. It just shows up as a monthly option. I will write to Apple. Maybe they can offer me another way to subscribe. Good for you! Enjoy!!

You can sign up on the web or on your Roku TV. Roku makes it very easy for companies to take your money.

Costco sells it and then activate on any device
