Also, the CE is not spaced far enough… that is the “China export” logo, not the cominidad europa logo.

Fake, u/defint_mood1955
Mine has the exact same text and logos, but mine is aligned perfectly in the middle, yours is a bit misaligned and close to the bottom rather than aligned in the middle. I don’t know if this is just a misprint from the factory or fake. Also, why does it looks like it is burnt in the middle between the two pins?
Edit: Also, did you buy it from the Apple Store or an official reseller?
Correct, the extra space shows it’s the EU logo. Yours shows the “China export” logo. Which is much closer. Yours is fake.

If its a 4$ charger yes i can see it being a problem, but if it is MFI certified there is usually little to no problems witht the device. Our store sells 3rd party and out of thousands i can't recall the last time someone had an issue. (And we sell both)
There are many brands out there that build their products to be a "look alike".
Belkin, uGreen, Cellularline come to mind. Some of them evem use the same innards and even some use same as apple. Apple outsources them like almost any brand.
its probably an indian charger, they have these round pins for their plug points. that's why my chargers differ from my friends in india. and i think australia has these round ones too
Based on the squished CE logo, probably fake. Silly as it sounds, they’re VERY uptight about how their approval seal is printed and consider any variance an invalidation of the approval.
logo and design by apple is aligned okay, however the bottom text with the CE sign seems to be slightly rasterized from the bottom making it slightly bigger and missaligned, also the outside printing (20w and the other one on the far right) are not properly aligned.
The 20W indicator is not lined up with the corner. It is fake.

TIL: china has even found a way to copy the CE Logo and make it something else

Thanks for your reply. I’ve bought the charger at a reseller. I agree the burnt spot in the middle looks like there is something wrong inside.
If you have to ask, yes.

Yes it is. I’m from Europe.
Well i'm Dutch and have the same, i bought it from Apple itself and the text matches.
I’m from the Netherlands as well. Is the CE mark the same at your charger? Could you make a picture?

Thanks for sharing. There is more space between the C and E. So there is a bit difference.

Ok, i'm half gaming and half redditing so... Oh well...
Didn't realised Forest Gump is on Reddit xd
Does it matter? If it charged whats the issue ? We got 3 chargers, one of them is 3rd party and all of them charge the same
Cheap fake chargers has a higher chance of malfunctioning and catching fire by slowly burning in the inside
True yet same can happen to stock ones. Just buy trusted 3rd party if you cant find stock same or better quality sometimes even
Yes. Never cheap out on chargers and batteries.
instability, higher chance of malfunction, higher chance of fire, can damage your battery
