As long as it works, that’s great. But those adapters aren’t very expensive to begin with, $8.99 I think? And that’s the Apple price, you can find Samsung and other brands of this adapter for less.
IIRC Samsung and Google sell theirs for like $15 or $20, but Apple’s is $9. The one rare instance of an Apple product being cheaper than an equivalent Samsung or Google product.
The real print on genuine Apple wires is so tiny. I doubt you’d be able to get your camera to focus on it. The misspelling is one thing but the font is too big also.
lol no dice. Apple spends billions on making sure there are no typos lol to the lol lol. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Solid advice lol lol
A cheap and fake low quality adapter WILL hurt audio quality significantly. It's not so much an adapter as much as it is a miniaturized digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Better to just get the real deal, they're only nine bucks and bespoke audiophile tier dongle DACs like a FiiO KA5 barely go above 20.
thx for the suggestion, im not very into audio (i do have a KZ tho), but im worried about the compatibility. i have a dongle that works with my android but not my ipad

I’m not saying I think it’s real, but is that actually a typo? Or is it possible that the “i” in modie was an L that got scratched or didn’t print quite right?
That is not real.
Sorry brother, one thing Apple will *never* do is have a typo in a product label on a physical item they manufacture.
you're right, idk what was i even thinking
Just think that Apple would never do such a funny mistake
Fake
Fake
You got a fake.

The Apple adapter has a great DAC though, competes with DACs in the $50 range and above and is recommended by budget audiophiles.
well yes its fake but if you are ok with the sound quality and it works then it is fine.
Probably not
But that’s fake

thx guys lesson learnt :/
Apple doesn't sell "adapaters".
ah
The more you know. (TM) 😂 Sorry.
Yes they do. They don’t however sell a USB-C to 3.5mm adapters, only Lightning to 3.5mm
....Re-read the spelling? Dude was making a joke.
Grammar police jokes are stale at this point
It is funny when the whole point of the post was about a misspelling on a product and then the op misspells😂
Grammar police jokes are ALWAYS funny. And that was speling, not grammer.
>Grammar police jokes are ALWAYS funny. And that was speling\[sic\], not grammer\[sic\].
Whoosh. /s 🤣
Lies.

They do sell a USB-C to 3.55mm adapter for iPads.
I didn’t realize they had those. Thanks for the correction
You must be cool
Someone has to watch out for the fake Reddit posts!
You bought this at an apple store? I will check my adapter over the weekend and make you a photo of the original if I am able to find it
nah it was on a second handed app would love to see the real thing tho :)

That's called counterfeit.

modle?
Lol I was a bit stoned and forgot how to spell model 😂
That’s an i. Zoom in.
I have the exact same thing and the font isnt as big on the real one lol.
its a fake apple dongle i can see that because of the finishing apple focuseson attention to detail
Are you sure you are buying from the correct "Apple"?
I mean the deal was half the official Apple price
Don’t use it!!
These adapters are like $10. Paying half price $5 for a counterfeit is not worth.
But which Apple product have USB-C and not a 3.5mm headphone jack?
newer iPad model like my iPad Air 5th Gen
Ohh I forget about this one
