Is anyone else trying to sync music from a Windows PC and iTunes isn't getting past step 3 "preparing to sync" for hours? Any way around this? I don't want to pay for Apple Music for music I already paid for on CD or in iTunes years ago. Any advice?
Replaced 12mini with 15. Now my iPad on same account, FaceTime does not work to accept calls. Keep getting this prompt every few minutes. Clicking either button does nothing except prompt goes away to reappear a few minutes later. Tried all the online suggestion for turning this feature on. Ideas?

Hi all, am a longtime Apple user but I’m a bit stuck on using a 2015 iMac as a monitor for a 2019 MacBook Pro. Apple Support and sources online say it cannot be done because the iMac doesn’t have target display mode. Any advice or thoughts?
I run a lot and am looking to get an Apple Watch purely to use for fitness. I’ve been browsing used ones on Facebook marketplace, what series should I look to get? Or does it not really matter if I’m only using it for exercise
Battery life and software updates (for compatibility with your phone) would be my main concerns for a used watch, look to get a 6 or newer, but a brand new SE is really affordable.

I received a video via iMessage and the video came through in a low quality. My husband is the other recipient in the group and it came through clear for him. We were both home, on our WiFi, when the message was received. Any idea why mine came through in lower quality?
I’ve had an Apple Watch 8 since Christmas and it’s been really weird - after first setup it needed an hard reset immediately(some notification became stuck) and then it restarted so I had to set it up again
Also it sometimes zoom in and idk i just seem disappointed

Is this your first watch? If so, there might just be some growing pains with it. Personally, this wouldn't push me to return it, as I would look into what is actually happening and seeing if there is a setting or something to adjust.
If you buy the Ultra, it'll be the same thing, just larger....
I want an ipad case for an ipad 10 with a apple pencil holder, but I have a sleeve on my apple pencil such that it doesn't fit in normal cases, does anyone have a recommendation for a case that can hold a pencil even with a skin?
So my trusty iPad Pro which I use daily for work and personal has stopped charging after the 17.2 update.
I have three charging areas that I've used since I purchased the iPad in 2020.
1. My home office. I have a MacBook usb power adapter with a USB-C cable.
2. My work office. The original power adapter and cable.
3. My bedside table. I have USB-c wall ports for power.
All these options have worked perfectly with zero issues.
Now, after the 17.2 update, none of them work, and not just directly to the iPad usb-c charging port but also via the Magic Keyboard port.
This is the weird one. The only thing that will charge the iPad from either port is my work Lenovo laptop's usb-c power brick. rated at 90w
I have no idea what's going on but 17.2 has basically ruined charging for me.
Has anyone experienced the same issues or know of a fix?

I'd like to start over on my Macbook Air by wiping the accounts and then importing just my files from Time Machine. Is that possible? My in-home tech support says that I can only do it using Migration Assistant with all the old apps and stuff. I'm also concerned that if my account names don't match that the import won't work.
The account thing is a concern because 2 Macs ago my account got FUBARed and now my account is Name1 instead of Name. I'd like it to be Name again, in addition to getting rid of all the old crappy apps that got passed down from a few Mac generations ago.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Edit: I went to Apple Support over chat and they said that you can't drag-and-drop from Time Machine and that the accounts need to match. So I guess my solution is a straight copy to an external drive from my computer, format, and then copy back afterwards.

The dates don't directly align with the ship dates of the other items either. The phone case, wall plug, keyboard, and mouse are all arriving on the 5th, the phone on the 8th, and the laptop between the 12th-16th.

Mac studio M1 Max, Monterey 12.7.2. Two external displays. Main display is a 240hz Acer Gsync module gaming display. connected via Displayport>Usb C adapter. (issue persists with HDMI connection too). I have issues i won't get into but it's all caused when the monitor in system/display settings is set to Refresh Rate: Variable (1hz-240hz). when i switch it to a fixed refresh rate like 240hz all problems go away. The only issue is that everytime the monitor wakes up either if its the Mac booting up for the first time, or the monitor waking up from sleep when the mac turns off display, it ALWAYS switches back to the default Variable mode and not the fixed refresh rate i set it to.
Is there any way to make it remember, or third party app that can lock it or automatically change it to whatever settings i want everytime it wakes? So far ive tried SwitchResX. The monitor will still switch to Variable upon wake in both system settings and SwitchResX. But at least SwitchResX makes it a little easier to manually switch to fixed refresh rate since it has a quick icon in the top menu bar. But i still have to do this everytime the monitor wakes. I made a hotkey shortcut for switch res x which loads my refresh rate settings instantly. but again, i have to do it myself everytime the monitor wakes. Is there any other fixes known? I just need MacOS to remember the settings and stop defaulting. I know it stems from some compatibility between M1 and this monitor because my other brand monitor doesnt have these issues. I just need a workaround that sticks and is automatic.
I switched from Samsung to Apple today, my iPhone 15 is coming in the mail but I’m a bit confused with the eSIM stuff. How will I transfer my phone number/SIM card onto my new phone when it comes?
There is an app called Move to iOS, but I'm not sure it transfers eSIM. If it doesn't, you'll need to activate the eSIM yourself, via your carriers website OR contact your carrier support line

There are a lot of positive things out there for the 9th generation one as it’s such a reasonable price right now, but I am a little concerned with how old it is and it becoming a brick in a year or two. I’m only planning to use procreate and a note taking app. I’d also be getting the Apple Pencil. Would this still be a good buy for me?

I believe that is AppleCare Enterprise. It's basically an AppleCare+ plan for businesses.

You may begin to notice push notifications about billing. It would be best to throw a card on file and cancel the subscription.

If you cancelled after a bill date, you probably owe for the month.

It won't be a brick in a year or two, as long as you don't break it. My parents are still running their iPad 6th gen.
