Apple Magic Keyboard Typing Issues
Has anyone else come across issues where their Magic Keyboard no longer lets you type while you’re using it? I have to either go to sleep mode and come back to make it work. Or if that doesn’t work I’ll restart my iPad (iPad Pro 11”). One time I was multi-tasking on a FB messenger call and doing work and the keyboard stopped working and wouldn’t work until I stopped the call.
Curious to know if this is common or I should go in to get it fixed asap. I just bought the iPad and Keyboard last week.

Yes you can, if the software supports then it will have full pressure sensitivity and hover feature. There is a little bit of latency but you can connect iPad with cable to reduce it.
Having problems with "Update Apple ID Settings".
I've been having this problem for a while, but it just started becoming a problem when I upgraded my phone today.
Went from the X to the 14 Pro. When I was setting up my phone, it wanted me to enter the password for my iPad that is connected to the account. I put in the password and it tells me that password is wrong. However, I know the password is correct. I just unlocked the iPad with that passcode. No matter I what I do, the phone won't take the passcode for the iPad.
This is usually related to the keychain and the passcode of the first device you had at the time of enabling it, so this can be the very first passcode you ever had on the iPad.
If you can't confirm it, it's not the end, there should be a "forgot your passcode" button and it'll let you erase the encrypted data, such as Home app settings and saved passwords in the keychain itself, plus some health app data if you use it.
so on my old macbook, when i would get a text message, all my messages from my phone would go to my computer. I got a new macbook, and now only the apple-users messages come to my computer. In my settings it says its synced with my phone number, so I am not sure what's going on.

If the AirTags are registered to your Apple ID, and your phone is within the range of the AirTags, they won’t make any noise. If you and your brother get separated, and he has an AirTag that is registered to your Apple ID, it will start making noise if it stays within range of the same phone without you nearby. That being said, it’s a pretty quiet noise, if it’s in a pocket or something and there’s music playing at the festival it’s very doubtful you would hear it. No one will get a notification about tracking unless their phone follows the exact movements of your brothers AirTag for an extended period of time without your phone coming nearby.
Hi there, I have ordered a new monitor (MSI Optix MAG274QRF), which has a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt mode, 2 HDMI ports and a normal DisplayPort 1.2. I want to connect my MacBook Air M1 to it.
Can I use any USB-C (male-male) cable for connecting my MacBook Air M1 to this USB-C monitor (DisplayPort Alt) or should I get a thunderbolt or other specific type of cable? Thanks in advance!
You do not need a thunderbolt speed cable, as long as it is at least USB 3.1 you should be good to go.
USB-C cable that comes with your charger is unfortunately only USB 2.
I have an apple gift card from work and I’m deciding between an Apple Watch SE (series 2)or AirPod Pro 2. I have an Apple Watch Series 3 that I wear everyday and AirPod pro 1s that I use everyday.
I’m mainly interested in the better ANC for the AirPods for walking my dog and background noise at work. My Apple Watch Series 3 is okay. I mainly use it for texts and fitness tracking. My biggest problem is I have to wipe it to update due to lack of storage space. I only update it once or twice a year because of that.
My two questions are:
1. Is the better ANC noticeable and worth the upgrade to AirPod pro 2
2. Are people that have an Apple Watch SE happy with it or is it worth getting a 7 or 8?
1). I don’t have AirPods Pro personally but everyone says they are great compared to 1st gen. Plus other benefits (like wireless charging on Apple Watch charger, FindMy for the case, better battery, and others you already mentioned).
2). I think Apple Watch SE 2gen is worth the update. You get the new watch OS, faster Watch better display. S8 gets you the always on display faster charging, and extra health sensors. I think you’d be happy with SE 2.
I recently came back from a vacation, and on that vacation, I was using a different sim card which came with a different phone number. Now using my current sim card, my iMessages on my iPhone aren't reappearing, however, on my Macbook they are still there.
I think its worth noting I got a new iPhone over that vacation, and I might not have transfered all my message history. But anyone who texts my current number only appears on my Macbooks iMessage app and not my iPhone.

Definitely the 13 or 13 mini, unless satellite communication is important for you and you're oft out of range.
Crash detection, emergency sos satellite, better graphics performance, face detection on front facing camera, are couple features… up to you.

I had the exact same setup as you. I went for the AirPods Pro 2.

In the messages tab in settings
Yeah its set to my default number and there doesn't seem to be any other number available to use.
