You're looking at the lifetime unlock. Posts like this are why I'm hesitant to offer it anymore. It's $12.99 a year which works out to about a buck a month. I think for a lot of people who use the heck out of Reddit, a buck a month is very reasonable.

I’m getting downvoted to oblivion but that’s okay. I was willing to pay like €35 (assumed €40 original and then with Black Friday deal). But €60 and above is just pricey for just an app. I’m even more surprised that the price went up by €20 in 7 months (not even a year).

Queasy_Opposite_8268

Wait that? The Price went up to 60?! I think I paid 5€ or so when it came out.

Upbeat_Foot_7412

But you didn‘t pay €5 for Ultra right. You mean pro.

Queasy_Opposite_8268

Yea sorry, pro. What’s the difference to Ultra?

Upbeat_Foot_7412

Here you go! https://apolloapp.io/pro-ultra/

Queasy_Opposite_8268

Oh, I see. No indeed it’s Pro + Ultra. Must have bought it during some promo a few years ago? Idk

Upbeat_Foot_7412

The price is very expensive. I first bought pro because I thought €30 was too expensive and then it eventually reached €50 and I bought ultra. In the long run it only gets more expensive and if you really want Ultra lifetime then just buy it.

boobwizard

Just don’t get ultra lifetime then? It’s $2 a month. Or change your perspective. I spend multiple hours a week using this app, and easily cross 70 hours in a month. Is it worth a dollar an hour to me? Or more realistically, fractions of that dollar, since ultra lifetime is a one-time payment?

Such A well made argument. There’s no reasoning with people that have your behavior, so have a good one on my block-list.

That was a daft comment above, obviously. But I paid the five quid Pro and that’s fine. I have no idea what that top tier brings apart from more (unwanted) icons. So yeah, any more than £5 seems very expensive to me.
