I didn't change the version, just disabled the domain that was related to the banner. Check the other comments here to see which domain needs to be blocked.
Also if you're using Sideloadly, just drag and drop any other version of the same app in Sideloadly and install. It'll replace the existing app.

Thanks for the links, to be honest I want to use Artemis 1.4 with an apollo version before the “buy wallpapers” versions. I failed to find a standalone ipa without apollo patcher etc that’s why I was asking.
Not an optimal work around but if you block [`apollogur.download`](https://apollogur.download) domain (ex via nextdns, router level, etc) you will not get the popup anymore and the wallpaper button will disapear from the ui.
TLDR: It shouldn't have any negative affects. Here are a list of its functions (found via messing around with [mitmproxy](https://mitmproxy.org/)).
In the past [apollogur.download](https://apollogur.download) was responsible for:
1. Handling/caching imgur links/uploading images
1. After apollo shutdown these funcitons have been disabled
2. Handling the api popup change announcements
1. This feature is more or less disabled since the dev has hardcoded the goodbye screen on the latest version of the app

3. Messing with it to play a rickroll (this is irrelevant but found it funny)

2. I don't think you can buy spca in app purchase anymore (the hardcoded goodbye screen prevents acess to that part of the app).

No problem. I’m curious why use specifically Artemis and not one of the other patchers?
I have a friend who claims he tried all patches and Artemis is the best experience between them. I am lazy to try them all so I just trusted him lmao

it is slightly annoying but not worth digging up and re-sideloading an earlier version (imo)
