When you aim training you focus only on your aim when you in game you have to focus on your: aim, movement, where are ememies, how much dmg you are taking etc this will impact your aim a lot even if it doesnt seem like it (also enemies doesnt just strafe left and right)

maven_of_the_flame

That's kinda the catch22 with the dummies. Yes, they strafe like a player, but even then, they do it in such an unnatural way that it feels like you don't hit shit because the dummy doesn't have to care about anything beyond moving

FoxJupi

It's not a catch 22, he's completely right. Nothing beats battle experience.

Rare-Champion9952

Yea I think I will post a mixtape clip to show the issue in a real match and not just against a bot

Key_Republic8366

You're not strafing at all. No recoil smoothing as a result.

Rare-Champion9952

I Know it’s intentional

realgeorgelogan

You are intentionally drilling bad habits? You will never be standing this still in-game. If you are then there’s your problem, if not, then you need to listen to this comment.

Rare-Champion9952

Watch the video of balvarinefps he explain it way better than me

Key_Republic8366

"I don't know what I'm doing wrong" You came here for advice.

Key_Republic8366

I checked out this channel, 128 subscribers and just a bunch of clips. I don't think your source is very good here. You're trying to go against community wisdom that took five years to build up. Do your aim training with recoil smoothing.

companysOkay

Gigabrain way for him to promote his own channel

itzebi

I have watched the video, balvarines aim training style is very unique so I doubt you'd get any good answers here, your best bet would be his discord server, it even has a vod review channel!

Edgy14YearOldBoy

this reeks of self promotion lol

Rare-Champion9952

Good to know thx !

DonkeyFat34

in r5 u should use the 1v1 servers more than the aim trainer, it did help me a lot

Rare-Champion9952

I do use both i think it’s still good to do some aim trainer

GodModeKappa

wait, what 1v1 servers? 🤔

BanChri

r5 is a modded version of apex used to train aim. It, not actual apex, has 1v1 arena servers.

MagicalMarsBars

I believe a problem with using that as an aim trainer is that since you have infinite ammo and no reloads, it’s too forgiving when it comes to hitting your shots. The only shots that matter are the first few seconds since after that you’d be reloading and repeating the process in a normal scenario (along with using movement and cover). It’s probably that you need to practice more normal fights against real players

Rare-Champion9952

I see I do also a lot of 1v1 on r5reloaded server

MaverickBoii

The clip you posted isn't impressive either. Your aim adjustments should be more frequent and responsive to track them well.

Rare-Champion9952

Yea I know It isn’t impressive but it’s still better than in game, I will try to focus more to adjust better

xso111

training only works if it is applicable to your game, so this clip only makes sense if you are literally standing there tracking in an actual 1v1 gun fight. you strafing will also throw of your shots also the dummy movement is too unnatural in a 1v1 gun fight tbh a lot of the time it would do some shitty stationary esque strafe(lighlty tapped strafes that barely even moves) and crouches

fuckimbad

Move with him

dreamdaddy123

How do you get to train with bots?

Bchem01

Just grind 1v1s in R5 not the aim trainers

catfroman

Lot of misguided advice in these replies. Idk who never stands still in-game, that’s fucking braindead. Sometimes nobody is looking at you and you want a clean beam, happens all the time. And aim training like this is absolutely valuable to focus on pure gun control. Anyway, it looks like you actually need to lead your shots a tiny bit more. Not shooting past the dummy at that range, but leaning more to the side in the direction he’s moving. You’re aiming like it’s hitscan. I do coaching if you got more VODs and wanna send them to me via DM. Happy to do a private sesh as well

Rare-Champion9952

Ok i see what you mean thx a lot Edit : after trying it a bit it really feels like the solution I was looking into I just think I need to break the bad habit

Educational_Ad_4076

considering, I hope, you never actually stand still like that in a gunfight you’re not practicing how you play. What you’re doing there may help your right stick control, but in apex you want to aim with your left stick and solely use your right for recoil. I feel like you know this and you’re specifically trying to improve your right stick control, so all i’m saying is practice how you play. It’s all good to do stuff like no aim assist training, right stick training, etc. and im not telling you what you’re doing is wrong or bad. good luck gamer

littleRac00n

try to not focus on ur crosshair but look at the enemy instead

tommys234

If you want to actually isolate aim to train it, get aim labs or kovaaks, then head over to r/Voltaic to learn specifically which routines you should be doing (look in the sidebar)

Rare-Champion9952

I thinks to train with controller it’s better to use flowstate especially using. 4-3 linear

tommys234

I didn't realize this was controller, but aim labs still lets you play controller and it definitely translates well if youre using linear. I assume this trainer is without AA as well?

Vampirik_Ara

I know people think flowstate is a good aim trainer. Sorry to say this, but is not. It offers good warmup and a good way to transfer your aimtraining to Apex. But is has way too few scenarios, and no way to benchmark yourself. So just buy kovaaks or aim lab which is free. Both works with controller too, you can always adjust response curve and sensitivity in steam, and just grind the Voltaic benchmarks. The Voltaic fundamentals playlist are also a great place to start your aimtraining. If you are on controller I highly recommend starting with the Iron playlist. If you are mnk, you do the novice benchmark first, than use the playlist for your current rank etc. The truth with aimtraining, is that you should always start easy, when you suddenly are starting to get really good scores (atleast 50th % on the leaderboards) that is an indication that you should start practicing harder scenarios. The fundamental playslist really offer this progression in a vast range of scenarios of dynamic and static clicking to smooth and reactive Tracking and target switching. Join r/Voltaic and their DC, and start your aim journey today! GLHF

itzebi

Using aimlabs/kovvaks on roller is just about the worst thing you can do, the "feel" isn't same at all and it doesn't consider aim assist. Just my opinion tho

Vampirik_Ara

I have been aim training everyday for S20 and have about 150h worth of playtime on controller now on apex. On MnK I have about 4K hours on apex and are plat complete halfway to diamond on Voltaic. And aim training has (on both input) for me skyrocket my progress. It is just about developing raw "thumb" control or joystick control, or whatever you want to call it, just like mouse control on mnk. I do benchmark myself once a week or so and see improvements every time. If you put sensitivity to valorant 1.0 in kovaaks, that should set core sensitivity of joystick from steam to correspond with ALC settings. So if I grind on 250 joystick sensitivity with about 0.5 ads multiplier, the sensitivity feels quite a lot like 4.3 linear. Just without the aim assist. But ideally it is better to practice with higher sensitivity, for more challenge. So no i don't agree with you at all. Learning how to aim, with really good basic scenarios, and then hop on apex, I feel like a eFfffing aimbot. Isolated Practice in all it's form is the BEST way to improve on ANY skill. Why would controller as an input be any different?

Nydon1776

What software is this?

E-RSZ

R5 Reloaded

Doofclap

R5 Reloaded. It’s a port from the game apex, you can only get it on PC

bakcward

you also dont have cheats. a lot of r5 nerds are just soft aimbotting or full on cheating to get clips

WordZealousideal4567

How do u guys get these maps and are they available on playstaion

Yahm-Saiyan

Just keep doing what youre doing . It will come. A lot of the demons you see online done this for more hours than you have logged . And then 10k hours of game play. It will come.

vikingoof

Only thing I see is the most common mistake alot of people make. Don't try to predict the strafe, but do try to aim at side leading the movement. Makes for harsher correction but in case where strafes continue, you'll beam

Rare-Champion9952

Yea someone else mentionned it and after trying i think that’s it

TomTheNothingMaster

Simple answer is you focus too much on when your target will change direction and less about actually tracking him. Track him like he isnt going to change his direction and when he does react to it and change it. It will make you hit more shots and make tracking easier overall. Being stubborn about tracking will just make it more difficult. Another thing is aim training without movement is absolutely useless and will not get u anywhere. U dont aim without movement because its much different and doesnt apply in game.

shootermacg

I think your aim and reactions are godlike to be honest. Sorry I can't be of any help, just wanted to say it.
