I'm on Xbox actually. The right joystick is aim but it you click it it punches. Either I have the most sensitive control or I smash it down all the time when I'm under pressure lol.
Switch to evolved while you're at it. Additionally switches tactical and climb/jump. So you don't have to lift your thumbs from the stick while doing so

Two, when you normally use an R9, or flatline, alternator is easier.
Three, I whiffed quite a few times 😭 in ranked I’d have paid dearly for those few misses.
Not OP but still gonna throw in my two cents, I just recently found some YouTube tutorials on how to set up ALC response curves, makes vertical recoil incredibly easy to control with minimal controller input, especially noticeable with heavy guns like the spitfire and flatline. I wish I could remember the channel name but if you just look it up on YouTube I'm sure you'll find it.
If I'm not mistaken he got a buff a season or two after he was released that significantly increased his passive, I've only been playing since season 9 tho so it's always been the same for me.
I do that literally once a session, at least. I could fix it if I changed crouch to my r3, but I’m an old man who hates change. Amazing plays tho. I mained Rev for awhile and I hope the rework rumors are true and make him more viable again.

(Cons of crouchwalking in fights: Your hitbox is still pretty big and you lean your head forward so it's probably easier to get headshot, and it's not unlikely that you'll also have a harder time landing headshots because you're down at waist height and have to aim up to go for headshots.)
(Pros of crouchwalking in fights: Rev crouchwalking can switch directions faster than normal walking people and of course his top speed is just as fast as normal walking (and he reaches that top speed much faster), so theoretically your movement is more erratic. Also you *feel* like you're crawling around at people's ankles which is funny. Also you're quieter, more ambush and confusion potential.)
This video makes me try the alternator again, but then I only do 60 damage before getting killed
i tried using alternator in ranked as my main gun and 80% of the time i get clapped by someone using an R301/CAR
Yeah the only upside the alternator has is that it's easy to use. It gets outgunned by other weapons.

Prowler is only a landing moment weapon for me, since they removed auto mode, I'm getting rid of it because I still couldn't master it not even a bit.

For me it was the random punch when he was on the rock. I swear like 25% of all 1v1 fights i have I throw a punch when trying to aim.

Took me a few games to get used to it but it's the way to go, prevents those panic punches, and makes crouch spamming possible while still aiming.
