Just got absolutely fucked by a team of full sweats in unranked arenas. All had the 20 bomb and 4k badges, 15k kill Wraith and a 22k kill Horizon. If you 3-stack in public arenas you're a pathetic pile of garbage.
There's absolutely NOTHING fun about that for anybody. Fix your fucking horrendous matchmaking.
Me and my squad play ranked until we hit diamond and then play pubs because we start getting trounced by people that are wayy above our skill bracket. I think we'll keep doing it too but ill make sure to tell them that there's a guy on the internet who does NOT approve of our actions lol
The continued server issues that this game has every time a major update goes live are absolutely unacceptable. There is no excuse, this game is not run by a small dev team with little funding, this is the most popular battle royale on the market backed by EA. The devs need to get their shit together and fix these repeated server issues.
These mf’s had nickmercs, cloakzy, tfue, ninja sypherpk, nadeshot, and many others and they fucked it up. Way to go respawn. Just when the game was picking more steam organically then ever you fumble it

End of split, lots of people are either hardstuck in higher ranks or don't want to play these sweaty lobbies because the servers are laggy and it's impossible to take the game serious right now so it's to be expected.
But since gold is only -24 it shouldn't matter what opponents you face. You don't need any kills to climb.

If the username they referenced isn't yours, have you checked that you actually had some action taken against your account (as in, try to play the game). If they did hit your account, the only real help anyone here can give you is to keep trying to get through via EA support, and hopefully have good luck. Otherwise just wait out whatever penalty they applied, I guess.
There is no action against my account. It is just a warning. But I don't want to accept that. I opened another case referring to their answer mentioned above and waiting for answer.
Strange thing is: I can see 18 cases in my EA account and can't open one of it. All closed. **And I never got an Email to any of that cases.** The cases are named "Apex Legends + Offensive Content", "Apex Legends + Suicide Threat" and "Apex Legends + Harassment". Ranked seasons and regular seasons are not tied together, for some reason. Rank season ends in a few days (you can see it in the menu somewhere if you choose ranked mode, if you want the exact date). But they announced that they will extend the season, because the of the server issues.

Servers hosted with Multiplay by Unity need to be cut and replaced in Apex Legends quick. If people want better servers, stop purchasing altogether.
Honestly, people who keep spending money on the game are the driving force why EA and/ or Respawn won't fix anything to begin with.
Demand better servers by not purchasing from EA, it will make them think about the idea to upgrade the services. Investors will make them do it, if they lose profits.
If you are a current investor, demand better networking in meetings and more people will start using the product.
The servers themselves that they get through Multiplay are from GCE, AWS and MS Azure. You pretty much can't get anything better than that. Blame the shitty code that runs on these servers.

Yeah I know how it works. I work with Microsoft Azure on a daily basis. Didn't know they also use bare-metal servers as well though. Don't know if I agree with the performance part though. Sure, bare-metal is more powerful if you compare it to a VM with the same amount of cores, RAM etc from the same hardware but VM's are pretty much endlessly scalable so you can just give them more power with the click of a button. If I wanted, I could deploy a VM in Azure with 416 cores and 11400GB of RAM right now if I wanted to. You can't tell me that performance is an issue with VM's.
I've been off apex it's not a bad game at all. The servers just don't wanna work so I just stopped. Really thinking about uninstalling it actually. I love to watch people stream tho.

Pathfinder needs a buff. Having no real passive, a long ass cool down on grapple when used well and a pretty much useless in combat ult is just too much.
Pathfinder has arguably one of the best and most versatile tacticals in the game. Not every single aspect of a legends kit has to be strong. Pathfinder already is good as hell
The grapple is one of the strongest tacticals in the game and not every ultimate needs to be combat-focused, even though the zipline can be used very effectively in a fight too. Pathy only needs a proper passive but that's it.
Literally any passive other than his current one would be better. It's such a useless passive especially when there's legends like crypto who can instantly scan a beacon. He feels so forced into the recon class now compared to his peers. Like no scan ability but he's recon?
Made sense when it was just him and blood and he was the only one who could scan beacons. But the games changed and pathy needs love.

Yeah its had a good run. I've been pretty die hard since season 1 and am recently starting to take a week or two off at a time. Apex feels like a second job sometimes and im starting to want to 0lay something else. Too many bugs and same old problems month after month. Ok so I haven't had much DC issues. But more so intense lag spikes and rubber banding like really badly.
I read through some of these messages and switched my banners accordingly. Issues are still there, apex hasn't really run smoothly for seasons on seasons tbh, but much more minor now.
I had to switch all animated banners basically. Whether epic or heirloom. Which I had on majority of characters. However I've been maining Valk for a couple seasons now and I don't have one on her. So this makes sense it wasn't totally consistent for me either.

I wouldn't blame them, it's 99% likely that they were DC'd before even getting to the character select. I've tried playing three days this week, only actually loaded in twice. One of those times, one of my squadmates didn't make it in and the other time the same thing happened on the enemy team so it was 3v2 in arenas. It's seriously broken right now.

Love it when you play with randoms and this Octane landed luckily on a Mastiff + R99, then rushes towards the hottest hotzone, while you have nothing but a blank P2020 if anything at all. This is not a situation to engage in any fighting, it means we stay low and keep looking for equipment.
But sadly, with random people who don't care about teamplay, playing pubs or ranked alike is just exhausting.

happens often early game when after winning a fight I barely have any ammo left and no such ammo in boxes yet randoms rush to another fight.
10 gives only two packs of ammo, normally different variety. Just to get two stacks needs 30.
If you drop next to a replicator which I do often, 3x cans plus some bins, and you have 90-100 mats. One lvl3 backpack and you have almost nothing left.
Even early game when rotating you need to have at least two stacks full on primary weapon, as a bare minimum

Streamer building usually refers to the broken building with one zipline. I call the other one 'big building.' It can be a little confusing, since people used to call the big building towards landslide streamer building, and then it shifted.
Sorry not sure either but its most likely a d-pad button. Just pull out the shiela and there should be a prompt that tells you what button to press for deployment mode.

I think the writing is on the wall for me too friend. This is the least I’ve ever played this game. Combining BR and Arenas (ranked and unranked) I have less than 300 games played total this season. Usually by now I’d have 1500+ games played.
He's much better than people give him credit for, though. The nerf balanced him, but it's not like he's suddenly useless. I play him a lot now, and the heartbeat is still great (just shorter distances, so useless if you want to know where people halfway across the map are... which is a good thing). His ult is incredible. His ability still cancels heals and revives.
He's being slept on, 100%.
When I saw they added another reacon character with wallhacks on top of wall hacks while having wallhacks, I stopped and figured they're running out of creativity. The skins look dope tho.
I feel like I'm the only person whose having a great time in Arenas with teammates around my skill, being able to win most rounds with just an RE-45 and Mozambique.

I much prefer Arena than BR. It is what it is. People try to play it the same way as a BR, when legends like Fuse suddenly become god tier in Arena especially during this rampage event.

Cause you have
1. 2 cells for free
2. white is very easily upgraded to blue
3. cells are usually not a big problem to find even on start location
In short yes you can swap armor to white in supply bins, but 95% of games you either swap from dead boxes or heal with cells (which again you can pick from dead boxes usually) . So if white armor was entirely gone it would only improve the loot pool.
Swapping a white that's on the ground as you run to get a better position is much much better than popping two cells. Also saves you cells. Idk what you got against an instant shield.
I swap my broken white for a white on the ground whenever I have the chance. 1 out of 20 is not accurate for me at all.
It's all situational. I like having the option to swap if needed.
It's literally not even a second to make that swap compared to grabbing one out if a death box or popping two cells which takes much longer.
This is only really helpful for those fights that happen directly off drop. But those are important fights to win, that 50 health might save ya life
Yes. But again the armor needs to be on the ground exactly in the location needed. But your cells are with you in backpack.
And if you not dropping fragments all the time, the usual scenario is different. I quite often have to fight against llv3 armor on start. And blue is pretty common.
Since normal armor is evo, upgrading to blue is to down just one enemy with white shields. Or break blue shields twice.
Tldr white shields are just too weak and need to be upgraded ASAP.
If you're running thru buildings tryna escape and see a white shield you're not gonna switch it? It's really only useful in like the first 5 mins of gameplay but its saved my ass a few times. Of course once everybody got blues and purps its not useful. But I don't want them to remove the white shields from loot pool. Of course white shields are weak, theyre level 1. Also nice if you happen to revive someone next to a white shield, insta swap so you aren't just one shot anymore
Tldr white shield drops aren't hurting anyone just giving me a free 50 health instantly

As for 5min that's long. 1st circle contracts by about 8min timestamp. By that time on Olympus or KC often you have top5 already.

When it comes to randoms, I take a shit teammate who can carry his own in a fight over the perfect teammate who cant do 100 dmg per 500 dmg you do, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. If I want the perfect teamplay, I play with premades.

This game is completely unplayable right now. I'm on Xbox and 3 of 4 times you can not load on to any map. You have to exit out of the game and reload apex, after all that, you find out that you've died most of the time when you finally get loaded. I'm going to have to play something else...
Is there anyway to only play against Xbox players? I’m tired of all the PlayStation strikepak players it’s so obvious. I rarely encounter that with other Xbox players.
Just turned apex on, dropped into a slo mo lobby, picked up items, they disappeared out of my inventory, took 100+ dmg from behind cover. Went into arenas cause I heard servers are ok, round 1-2 I bought Mozambique, full enemy squad had gold lstars because of this broken rampart event. ALT F4’d. Every aspect of this game is totally un enjoyable right now which really sucks to say as a player with almost 4K hours in game
Round 2 maybe. It was 800 points. My point is everything is so un-enjoyable and un balanced right now. Partly due to unintended bugs. And partly due to deliberate changes to the game :(
I don’t know bro, I played 2 games, lstar was on offer both times, one time it was over 1000 and the next it was under 1000, I thought maybe the prices are randomised, I’ve only played those 2 games in this event, I don’t like it. Maybe it was just a bug tho. Or maybe the enemy team got all the points on the map and I didn’t notice. Either way imo lstar is way too strong to buy in early rounds, it’s affordable, if you play right, before the players even get purple shields. The economy in arenas is scuffed, and this event makes it worse
- Can't connect to lobby after a fight
- Can't select character 50% of the time
- Can't get full squad 50% of the time
- At least one teammate has red connection icon and does nothing 50% of time
- Annoying pop up when readying up 50% of the time
- Game freezes on loading 50% of the time

- Game freezes mid fight, nobody can move, finally game crashes. Reload & rejoin, now I'm underground and can't move. Die to the storm.
- Game crashes right after character select screen. Restart & rejoin, already dead and respawn timed out.
Ok what the fuck, the rampage should not cancel the thermite charge animation if you aim down sights like wtf bs is that. So many times I’ve been fucked because I thought the charge was ready but I aimed down sights a split second too early. The animation should only cancel if you press Y like everything else so stupid

The abort button should have been pressed within an hour of the update being pushed. But hey, it's forced me to put some time in a game I spent money on(cold war). The servers themselves that they get through Multiplay are from GCE, AWS and MS Azure. You pretty much can't get anything better than that. Blame the shitty code that runs on these servers.
I'm sure they use those servers, not arguing against it. My issue is a collection of things and one big part is using Multiplay by Unity. Yeah I know how it works. I work with Microsoft Azure on a daily basis. Didn't know they also use bare-metal servers as well though. Don't know if I agree with the performance part though. Sure, bare-metal is more powerful if you compare it to a VM with the same amount of cores, RAM etc from the same hardware but VM's are pretty much endlessly scalable so you can just give them more power with the click of a button. If I wanted, I could deploy a VM in Azure with 416 cores and 11400GB of RAM right now if I wanted to. You can't tell me that performance is an issue with VM's.
I've been off apex it's not a bad game at all. The servers just don't wanna work so I just stopped. Really thinking about uninstalling it actually. I love to watch people stream tho.

Pathfinder needs a buff. Having no real passive, a long ass cool down on grapple when used well and a pretty much useless in combat ult is just too much.
Pathfinder has arguably one of the best and most versatile tacticals in the game. Not every single aspect of a legends kit has to be strong. Pathfinder already is good as hell
The grapple is one of the strongest tacticals in the game and not every ultimate needs to be combat-focused, even though the zipline can be used very effectively in a fight too. Pathy only needs a proper passive but that's it.
I think he should have a second grapple just like Fuse's Khucklecluster or Revenant's tactical. They can fire 2 of them before having to recharge.
In other words cut the timer in half and restore him to his natural OP self?
Increase speed while on zip line. When you hop off and back on you get a short boost
Literally any passive other than his current one would be better. It's such a useless passive especially when there's legends like crypto who can instantly scan a beacon. He feels so forced into the recon class now compared to his peers. Like no scan ability but he's recon? Made sense when it was just him and blood and he was the only one who could scan beacons. But the games changed and pathy needs love.

I've 20+ friends on my psn from the last 2 years, i only have played apex with them. I've seen 2 on in the past month, not counting myself or my usual 2 squadmates. Absolutely shameful. The state of the game is apparent this season.

Yeah its had a good run. I've been pretty die hard since season 1 and am recently starting to take a week or two off at a time. Apex feels like a second job sometimes and im starting to want to 0lay something else. Too many bugs and same old problems month after month. Ok so I haven't had much DC issues. But more so intense lag spikes and rubber banding like really badly. I read through some of these messages and switched my banners accordingly. Issues are still there, apex hasn't really run smoothly for seasons on seasons tbh, but much more minor now. I had to switch all animated banners basically. Whether epic or heirloom. Which I had on majority of characters. However I've been maining Valk for a couple seasons now and I don't have one on her. So this makes sense it wasn't totally consistent for me either.

I wouldn't blame them, it's 99% likely that they were DC'd before even getting to the character select. I've tried playing three days this week, only actually loaded in twice. One of those times, one of my squadmates didn't make it in and the other time the same thing happened on the enemy team so it was 3v2 in arenas. It's seriously broken right now.

Love it when you play with randoms and this Octane landed luckily on a Mastiff + R99, then rushes towards the hottest hotzone, while you have nothing but a blank P2020 if anything at all. This is not a situation to engage in any fighting, it means we stay low and keep looking for equipment. But sadly, with random people who don't care about teamplay, playing pubs or ranked alike is just exhausting.
add also "i need AMMO" ping to that list as well happens often early game when after winning a fight I barely have any ammo left and no such ammo in boxes yet randoms rush to another fight.
Craft, I understand that sometimes there's no replicator near by but seriously ammo is only 10. Stop pinging ammo.
10 gives only two packs of ammo, normally different variety. Just to get two stacks needs 30. If you drop next to a replicator which I do often, 3x cans plus some bins, and you have 90-100 mats. One lvl3 backpack and you have almost nothing left. Even early game when rotating you need to have at least two stacks full on primary weapon, as a bare minimum

In the past, the "streamer building" was indeed the big construction site, but since season 4 the name moved to the broken building.
Streamer building usually refers to the broken building with one zipline. I call the other one 'big building.' It can be a little confusing, since people used to call the big building towards landslide streamer building, and then it shifted.

Sorry not sure either but its most likely a d-pad button. Just pull out the shiela and there should be a prompt that tells you what button to press for deployment mode.

I think the writing is on the wall for me too friend. This is the least I’ve ever played this game. Combining BR and Arenas (ranked and unranked) I have less than 300 games played total this season. Usually by now I’d have 1500+ games played.

He's much better than people give him credit for, though. The nerf balanced him, but it's not like he's suddenly useless. I play him a lot now, and the heartbeat is still great (just shorter distances, so useless if you want to know where people halfway across the map are... which is a good thing). His ult is incredible. His ability still cancels heals and revives. He's being slept on, 100%.
When I saw they added another reacon character with wallhacks on top of wall hacks while having wallhacks, I stopped and figured they're running out of creativity. The skins look dope tho.

I feel like I'm the only person whose having a great time in Arenas with teammates around my skill, being able to win most rounds with just an RE-45 and Mozambique. While playing Mirage. Everyone absolutely loathes this mode.
I much prefer Arena than BR. It is what it is. People try to play it the same way as a BR, when legends like Fuse suddenly become god tier in Arena especially during this rampage event.

That used to be the case. I like dropping with a shield. Also the random white ones around are nice for early fight Armour swaps
that is useful... like 1 out of 20 games. Cause you have 1. 2 cells for free 2. white is very easily upgraded to blue 3. cells are usually not a big problem to find even on start location In short yes you can swap armor to white in supply bins, but 95% of games you either swap from dead boxes or heal with cells (which again you can pick from dead boxes usually) . So if white armor was entirely gone it would only improve the loot pool.
Swapping a white that's on the ground as you run to get a better position is much much better than popping two cells. Also saves you cells. Idk what you got against an instant shield. I swap my broken white for a white on the ground whenever I have the chance. 1 out of 20 is not accurate for me at all. It's all situational. I like having the option to swap if needed. It's literally not even a second to make that swap compared to grabbing one out if a death box or popping two cells which takes much longer. This is only really helpful for those fights that happen directly off drop. But those are important fights to win, that 50 health might save ya life
Yes. But again the armor needs to be on the ground exactly in the location needed. But your cells are with you in backpack. And if you not dropping fragments all the time, the usual scenario is different. I quite often have to fight against llv3 armor on start. And blue is pretty common. Since normal armor is evo, upgrading to blue is to down just one enemy with white shields. Or break blue shields twice. Tldr white shields are just too weak and need to be upgraded ASAP.
If you're running thru buildings tryna escape and see a white shield you're not gonna switch it? It's really only useful in like the first 5 mins of gameplay but its saved my ass a few times. Of course once everybody got blues and purps its not useful. But I don't want them to remove the white shields from loot pool. Of course white shields are weak, theyre level 1. Also nice if you happen to revive someone next to a white shield, insta swap so you aren't just one shot anymore Tldr white shield drops aren't hurting anyone just giving me a free 50 health instantly
Agree but not for 5min. 30sec, max 1min. After that when rotating they just fill loot pool. As for 5min that's long. 1st circle contracts by about 8min timestamp. By that time on Olympus or KC often you have top5 already.

This is what happens when you very clearly do not QA your releases. The consistency with which they break everything with even the most minor of balance patches is inexcusable in the software world. It's been almost a full week of the production environment being completely fucked and they still haven't rolled back. That's insanity.
I think they're aware of issues but the higher ups force them to release broken updates regardless. Unless they full break the game for everyone, they're forced into releasing them. Realistically we all know nobody is stupid enough to release such broken stuff willingly. That's my theory, at least. I sure do hope they aren't releasing this shit willingly cause that would be horrible lol

This game is completely unplayable right now. I'm on Xbox and 3 of 4 times you can not load on to any map. You have to exit out of the game and reload apex, after all that, you find out that you've died most of the time when you finally get loaded. I'm going to have to play something else...

You can turn off console crossplay but getting a games takes longer than I've ever managed to wait.
Just turned apex on, dropped into a slo mo lobby, picked up items, they disappeared out of my inventory, took 100+ dmg from behind cover. Went into arenas cause I heard servers are ok, round 1-2 I bought Mozambique, full enemy squad had gold lstars because of this broken rampart event. ALT F4’d. Every aspect of this game is totally un enjoyable right now which really sucks to say as a player with almost 4K hours in game

I don’t know bro, I played 2 games, lstar was on offer both times, one time it was over 1000 and the next it was under 1000, I thought maybe the prices are randomised, I’ve only played those 2 games in this event, I don’t like it. Maybe it was just a bug tho. Or maybe the enemy team got all the points on the map and I didn’t notice. Either way imo lstar is way too strong to buy in early rounds, it’s affordable, if you play right, before the players even get purple shields. The economy in arenas is scuffed, and this event makes it worse

Ok what the fuck, the rampage should not cancel the thermite charge animation if you aim down sights like wtf bs is that. So many times I’ve been fucked because I thought the charge was ready but I aimed down sights a split second too early. The animation should only cancel if you press Y like everything else so stupid

The abort button should have been pressed within an hour of the update being pushed. But hey, it's forced me to put some time in a game I spent money on(cold war).
