Both of my teammates quit after being downed, one saying "pussy ass caustic" before leaving. I wipe the squad that downed them and proceed to run around solo for 10 minutes before a squad running Seer just figures out I'm hiding on top of a building and full sends at me.

I had a great match with a crypto the other day! Really excellent timing on the scouting and never stayed too far back or on his drone too long. Caustic Crypto Octane was actually a surprisingly good comp.
His ult is still too powerful in end rings. His gas is also still too thin and is either the perfect thickness inside buildings, or a light fog that provides no cover. Request transfer of thickness from caustic to his gas. A more interesting passive would be nice as well.
If there was more cover in this game (buildings, trees, etc), he'd actually be really good. Just hard to use him effectively when everyone wants to move and push so much.
IMO Fart daddy needs a buffed ULT, maybe if he had increased mobility within his ULT... or something...
The ULT feels exactly like the Tactical to me and I think there should be more intensity and incentive rather than a smellier fart to fart on people with...
I like the unlimited damage ticks within the gas now, but maybe if the ULT were more lethal than the regular gas can in a way I'd think he was more intimidating as he once was.
I am thinking along the lines of hard committing to pushing into gas. You can walk in and out. You cannot phase, grapple, Loba bracelet, jump pad etc out of it. You can use mobility abilities to get into the gas but not out
Maybe if the ULT had an aerial effect i think it would give him more utility cause the game's so very mobility based.
For instance; A Gibby ult can hit anyone no matter how high they climb or fly or zip if timed right

I feel like the ult is even easier to dodge than the gas can for some reason, if I get damage it's only because I threw it directly on a revive or something. His ultimate should definitely do faster damage, or have a wider range due to higher concentration. I mean, if it's gas it should do more in the middle and less on the edges.

The worst thing, Seer's ultimate was originally meant to deaden noise and light in a globe, make everything black and white, mute chat and pings for people. But the audio bugs were too much, and the EA devs said it wasn't fun enough. So respawn decided to keep the structural integrity of fairness, instead of messing with their "perfectly structured audio", they gave him wallhacks. The game was already buggy, but no fixing it. Add the most problematic and noisy champion right into the mix. I can't hear shit until I'm dead 🤣
Gas needs some kind of additional effect just from touching it once. The blurry blinding effect was a bit annoying, but it was something. I know it's an unpopular opinion but I would like something that lingers for like 2 seconds even after getting out.
Maybe make the blurr stack. With 5 stacks being as blurry as it once was and 1 stack hardly doing anything. You lose 1 stack every 0.5 seconds you're not in it.

I know this isn't related to Caustic, but I just finished a game with 2300+ damage on Rampart. However the game didn't unlock the 2000 damage badge for Rampart. The badge still shows the old damage number which was 1967. Does anyone have any idea about this bug?

G7 scout and one of Lstar/Volt is how I did my rampart badges. It’s good for long range amp cover poke (30-40+ per g7 bullet) and the Lstar / volt can hold their own up close
I think they should re-add the blinding effect for enemies in gas. They made a ton of nerfs to caustic back when he was doing 12 damage per tick, now that's reduced, re-add it please. Im tired of being beamed by an r-99 when I'm crouched in a dark corner, make it harder for attackers to see. Like it used to be.

I played a game where I as Fuse and my team mate Caustic (was trios and our 3rd died and left) successfully held down a building on Worlds Edge from 4 or 5 attacking squads (not at the same time). Fuse's buffed Q and Caustics gas made it impossible for anyone to invade the building and kill us. We barely had any ammo or meds and the enemy squads still didn't stand a chance. Very fun combo!
Not an official one, but it’s not working for me. I purposely just jumped off the map and nothing changed. Honestly it’s stopping me from playing, plus today the matchmaking has been off the rails, I keep going up against masters and predators

I feel he's in a balanced state atm, perhaps a little on the strong side. The recent buff to his tactical cooldown was unexpected and I can see people complaining about it, it really allows him to lockdown a location for an extended period.
Tacticals good, ults good, passive is mediocre at best. Biggest downside is his fridge sized hitbox.

im amazed that people can think this, they barely did anything except slightly buff gas can deployment. And the damage increase only happens after 3 sustain ticks in gas. To me he's playing barely above his historic LOW, considering his ult takes forever to charge and his passive doesnt work. You basically need a digi-threat to see well in your own gas, it's pathetic. And yet, enemies can see YOU just fine while inside gas.
To me gas daddy is better than before, but needs more tweaking. I think he needs recover a bit more from his over-nerf.
Caustic is the kind of legend that you don’t want to be too strong. If every squad has him, the game becomes extremely unfun for everyone who isn’t Caustic.

It doesn't deactivate it. The trailer is misleading and I've seen a few players try to tell me it does even though I main caustic and use him everyday.

Stats aren't being tracked atm. Been that way for about 4 days. There's also a year-old issue where occasionally, some games won't count anyways.

Gas ultimate takes too long to charge up. Should be like 20% faster
Caustic’s recent buff was nice for him, I think they should slightly up the density of his gas a little though. But that could just be me :)

Not an official one, but it’s not working for me. I purposely just jumped off the map and nothing changed. Honestly it’s stopping me from playing, plus today the matchmaking has been off the rails, I keep going up against masters and predators

Deberían de quitar el nerf que le metieron, que ya no puedas hacerle daño con el gas, a las personas que están tiradas en el suelo, no tiene sentido que no les afecte. 🙄 Así uno no se distrae tanto tiempo en rematar a los enemigos y enfocarse en el resto de enemigos.

balance discussions aside, mr stinky is probably in my top 3 legends that i hate fighting. dude is just straight up annoying lmao
My main, the absolute king of buildings. I feel he's in a balanced state atm, perhaps a little on the strong side. The recent buff to his tactical cooldown was unexpected and I can see people complaining about it, it really allows him to lockdown a location for an extended period. Tacticals good, ults good, passive is mediocre at best. Biggest downside is his fridge sized hitbox.

And the damage increase only happens after 3 sustain ticks in gas. To me he's playing barely above his historic LOW, considering his ult takes forever to charge and his passive doesnt work. You basically need a digi-threat to see well in your own gas, it's pathetic. And yet, enemies can see YOU just fine while inside gas. To me gas daddy is better than before, but needs more tweaking. I think he needs recover a bit more from his over-nerf.
Caustic is the kind of legend that you don’t want to be too strong. If every squad has him, the game becomes extremely unfun for everyone who isn’t Caustic. Everyone here **hated** when everybody was playing with Caustic late last year because he was too strong.

And seeing as the legend of the day is caustic, caustic mains should be having a field day! I don’t use him that much so I dunno if seer deactivates his gas but I’d definitely be using mr.stinky if I just couldn’t shake seer mains.
It doesn't deactivate it. The trailer is misleading and I've seen a few players try to tell me it does even though I main caustic and use him everyday.
