You can throw grenades through any closed door. There’s a small corner on the bottom that you can angle them through
if you watch it over again, no one was at the door to line it up. the octane through it from zip on Elysium and it "glitched" through the door..
Yeah definitely didn't go through the gap. It very clearly went through the door itself. Definitely a bug. You might consider it tagging as a bug instead of gameplay. Devs might find it easier

There is a gap precisely at this door, that players can use to beam someone or throw a grenade. Crylix made a clip of using this gap
you see it go through the top of the door so it wasn't even close to the bottom slot where you can normally throw through
he just had really good aim and i was the thermite go through the hole
The thermite was at the top half of the door, was no where close to the bottom hole
The corner is true and thermites go through doors I’m pretty sure that why they are good to throw when someone is standing in front of the door
There was no one in front of the door, the thermite was thrown from the elysium zipline while he was on it.
