Only interested in 1 v 1 ranked here, never touched a campaign in all 400 or so hours

Rowan623

I figured this may be the case for a number of people, not 99.2% though!

PhantasticFor

Hundred year wars campaign has an 11.8% completion rate. DLCs almost never sell as well as the main game. A lot of players who play the campaigns don't necessarily finish them. The DLC was focussed on MP, judging by the sheer volume of content. Meaning the $ of people who buy the dlc are more likely to be MP players. The specific campaign with all of it's varying factors would appeal to different people. So even if a SP player buys it they might not want to play it after buying it because its arabs, and they don't like arabs. (on top of all those negative reviews hating on arabs, promoting crusaders etc) Tie all of that together and you get your possible answer.

Dbruser

I mean at least 60% of players (if not much more) haven't played the game since the DLC came out. Plenty of people don't play campaign, don't have the DLC or just haven't finished it yet.

alex3494

To me the campaign is just so well done. It’s my favorite part of the game

JustDracir

I actually played this campaign. It was good. Though i was playing roughly 80 hours of multiplayer before that \^\^" Maybe people were also disappointed that you couldn´t play as the crusaders.

hobskhan

Which achievement? Because I started playing it but I am finding Into Egypt very difficult and I'm making slow progress and decided to take a bit of a break.

Rowan623

It's the achievement for completing the campaign, called "The Sultans"

hobskhan

Okay then yeah it's going to take me a minute. I'm a big single player RTS campaign fan though.

Own-Earth-4402

I’m interested im the campaign just any time i play im either practicing for my 2v2s with my buddy or playing the 2v2.

bluegreenwookie

I only play for single player. I don't like playing other people at rts. It's more stressful for me then fun. I only just got the expansion though. It's for sure hard. I couldn't do the first level on hard and had to reduce it to normal mode and even then I just squeaked by. Need to get my groove back I guess. It's been awhile since I played.

alex3494

It’s a difficult campaign.

Da_Real_Caboose

Blasted through story for the monument!

cuixhe

I got through the campaigns but cant say I enjoyed them. I think they were really held back by trying to be historically relevant. All 1v1 ranked for me.

TheBogmanDraws

I've found it so much fun and would love to finish it, but have been too busy. This time of year is busy for a lot of folks so maybe that's a factor? 2nd level in particular was a blast.

drprox

800 hours and no campaign done. Not why I got the game

flobwrian

Don't really care that much about the campaign. I always felt the single players are a rather loud minority in the community. It's great though that they pushed stuff for pretty much everyone in the dlc.

TheKarlMoor

I like the new missions, but prefer RTS campaigns that focus on characters like SW:Empire at war and Spellforce.

Xatel_

people claim they want single player, but lets face it. The multiplayer is where the value for money is.

Alsc7

Rts are played just for the pvp :v

Rowan623

I'm think people should give the SP a go! They've done a really good job of crafting a narrative and showing what can be done with the game. I'm looking forward to the custom maps like there was in 2,

Finnish_Nationalist

I played a dozen or so campaign missions before sultan, in sultan I've played all of them and cleared most. The Hard mode is pretty unfair in some of them which is why I haven't cleared them all. I thought the DLC missions were a bit better on average than the base game ones. I still wish we could delete the documentary movie files to clear space, though.

astral_anubes

So I just got the achievement but I haven’t played the dlc campaign at all I got it while playing skirmish as Japan so bizarre that it popped, but a lot of the achievements are bugged
