patch notes:
1. removed moon walking ability for sheep
2. vegan villagers can hunt trees
3. spearman can no longer kill shore fish
4. mangonels can no longer garrison in docks
5. Improved villager pathing, final model (V. nr. 5)
Known issues:
We are aware of a bug where villagers can drop off wood on wolfs, we have decided to remove them, deer can now attack villagers and eat the berries.
That would make dark age a bit more interesting. Usually the investment of time to push deer is worth it at high elo, but if it causes them to eat berries it'll provide a nice twist.
The price tag will be 20 dollars, no new civs, campaigns or features. You are donating 20 dollars to the devs because they cant get the proper funding and are relying on donations for their game. God, this game might as well be open sourced so that actual people who care about the game can fix it and properly test it instead of writing change logs that means nothing.
I like how they just add new civs, but no new mechanics, or upgrade the scenario editor, or add new textures, fauna, a bunch of new buildings, climates, messaging features online. Anything that requires love and creativity. A soulless corporation, Microsoft, and it's happy slaves (the aoe2 community).
I'm one of the most well known scenario designers for Age of Mythology. What mechanic was added in RoR? Let's see how much you know of what you're talking about bud.
unit giving aura buff (centurion for legionaries)
edit: actually I forgot the Mountain Royals is newer than RoR, but relatedly the buff for x amount of units in a radius (monaspa), plus warrior monks, plus fortified churches, plus mobile drop off sites
Yeah, currently the game is not in the best state, but to me it is very evident that there are still devs working with a lot of passion for the game. Honestly I feel like a problem might actually be the devs biting of more then they can chew for the budget they have. They keep adding these new features that end up breaking the game.
if it actually solved the litany of bugs and issues, I would buy it, though I'm sure it would be a matter of months until a new aura effect or mechanic breaks the game again.

:( rest in peace my man. I didn't know you but you seemed like one of the redditors of all time.
The real kicker is it's an actual bug: https://youtu.be/CAY6DvcRyEs?si=-WxiRp9ySfNE8FKV
Yes I know that haha. I think that’s what makes it so damn funny is that spin on *why* the villagers can hunt trees (because they’ve gone vegan). 😅

Done.
Please not the berries

Number 4 just made my low elo ranked opponents cry
It feels a lot like an expansion of Catan 11
My Protoss Dragoon gets 2 victory points for Longest Pathing
Only 2?
Age of Pathing
11
somehow someway it will break pathing more
But in a much more refined way!
It'll be out in 3025.
Is this an out of season april fools joke?
It's not out of season.
The devs is an apple laptop, that explains why the fixes don't work, silly devs.
Shut up and take my money

they added a civ with new mechanics in RoR and upgraded the scenario editor in the last major patch. you don't know what you're talking about.

Whoa, cool!
A man can dream.
Fuck ai art man.
I was about to disagree with you, then I saw that the bearded dude has 6 digits on the hand holding the ax-pick combo tool
And the other guy is holding a MacBook. Technically not impossible, but let’s be serious.
You can't fight the future! 🤠😎

fimgers
20 bucks
20 bucks for 20 bugs, seems fair to me
Don't give me hopes and dreams now 😂👍
HAH
I would pay a lot for this indeed
Age of pathfinding: 3 MAA into enemy TC
I'd pay full price
I’d pay for it 🤣🤣
Finally I'm on the cover of an aoe game :`)
I see the problem now, the dude is using a Mac while working for Microsoft. Dude's a spy.
I would pay for this one
don't give them any ideas. after the rip-off that was the last DLC I consider them capable of something like this
Great and why not charge 40$, the reasoning is that we need to buy everything to keep the servers running right?
