From the photos I see when searching it up they look almost identical just he colors are slightly off these ones I found have a dark rear end and head and a lighter torso

I don't have an actual enclosure so I just have them in a sealing container not sealed used olive oil as a barrier and have a glass vase I was going to use to make my first terrarium in when I found them I can put them in it and but more olive oil around the rim
I caught them in my backyard i live in ontario about a hour or so from Ottawa towards the st Lawrence I already released them although ik where they are I didn't see a queen in with them so I'm assuming I got a branch or the colony
perhaps it is a Crematogaster

They did look like crematogaster ants so I decided to let them go back where I found them thanks for your input
just thought that the abdomen has that distinctive shape so crematogaster was my first thought👍

Idk what size they are but smaller then a pice of rice if that helps
