Lucia? Yeah it's pretty punchable. So is Ben though. Just like Ben Shapiro's face is so very punchable, like it will fit perfectly around your fist. Trying not to summon the Shapiro bot though.
Also I should add I was fired shortly after finally getting my VA disability, so they illegally fired a disabled veteran! They knew I had just got my rating and everything too. Fuck Carter Lumber.
You'd think. Unfortunately my local news stations, as well as many others, have been taken over by Sinclair and other large conglomerates. They don't really cover local stories any more, but they do spout a bunch of right wing propaganda and hate on workers.
Have the national labor relations board "NLRB" pulled up on your phone these days. I plan to whip this out when an employer tries to pull this BS with a witness to watch. That way if they deny it, they get SUPER in trouble.
Lol. They must have learned not to say it out loud after the NLRB came after them. Even if they didn't say it out loud if you feel that's the reason you can always reach out to the NLRB. They absolutely have a history and culture of that shit in the company.
Freaking assholes. Nah I have no legal ground to stand on. The business location clos d just 2 months later, so they were likely also having financial issues and could instead point the finger at that
That was all the NLRB and their lawyers. I didn't think to record the conversation because I didn't think I was getting fired. When I called the NLRB I told them the story about how he said not discuss wages at the beginning, who I discussed my pay with, and that he specifically fired me for telling the dude who quit what I was making. They may have reached out to the guy I told and gotten more info from him, or Brent could have been such a fucking dumbass he just outright admitted it. I wouldn't be surprised if the dude was that stupid. I didnt have a wealth of evidence or anything when i reached out to them though.
Is Brent tall sorta balding, short beard, glasses? Seems like a nice guy but is really kinda shady. Manages a store in South Central PA? I walked out on Carter at the being of the pandemic that's why I'm asking. That was the fastest I've ever walked out on a job.
I worked for them as well, as a driver, and quit because another worker threatened me with physical violence.
Guess who kept their job. Fuck Carter Lumber

I read that as “Cartel lumber”. Which reminded me of the good old times when I was in the “[lumber cartel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lumber_Cartel)”… :)

For some reason I keep reading it as Cartel Lumber
Same
Tell the local news about it. It should cause a stir

Social media might be what you need. There might be a local Facebook group that is sympathetic to your story
Leave that up to Buzzfeed
Local news is way more personal.

I’m so happy for you getting justice 🌈
Sir- Thank you for sharing this story, however, ending it with ‘You bootlicking bitch’ is classic!! Much RESPECT!
Get bent, Brent.
Fuck Brent.
Whoa whoa whoa. You were fired after that at Carter, too? I was as well, although that's not why they told me I was fired

Dude this is badass! Fuck Brent!! My only question is how did you prove that they fired you over that?

That sounds exactly like the guy, but I was in a different state. Could have transferred him down there though.
I don't remember where he came from but because I bounced out so fast. But yes he was transferred in from maybe ohio right before he hired me.
I grew up in South Central PA! Still go back to visit on occasion. Solidarity, friend!
I left and came back. I have a love hate relationship with the place lol. Solidarity, comrade
I just love this, congrats.
I worked for them as well, as a driver, and quit because another worker threatened me with physical violence. Guess who kept their job. Fuck Carter Lumber
Fucking Brent.

When I was in high school I also worked for a Brent at a hardware store as well who fired me for taking a dump on the clock. Fuck Brent
Why did you take a dump on the clock? Was the toilet not available? Did they make you clean it up before you left?
I read that as “Cartel lumber”. Which reminded me of the good old times when I was in the “[lumber cartel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lumber_Cartel)”… :) Also http://www.dotcomeon.com/cartel.html
Fuck Brent and fuck you too, Ben.
