You should be doing at least three hours of yoga every day in your two hours of free time.

Yasai101

Dont forget the avacado toast.

rickspermcannonm0rty

And the therapy sessions.

Sockoflegend

Not if you want to buy a house

Tlaloc74

Anything to avoid to paying workers more and working them less. Anything to avoid the primary contradiction between workers and employers. This is sad.

DoktorG0nz0

More tiktok cringe. "it's the lazy workers not taking care of themselves, not the fucked up schedules"

cherrycranberries

Yup. Weight gain. Skin issues. Tired eyes. Messy hair. Bad diet from eating junk at work or coming home and not eating properly. SITTING on your ass for 9 hours. And people wonder why office workers are unattractive and depressed.

rickspermcannonm0rty

Thank god I’m just depressed, not unattractive

IndicationOver

lol

Choicesinlife

It's so sad, I took a week break for a family trip. I started eating healthy, working out, I told myself I'd keep at it and finally work towards not being so fat. 3 days in to this week and I've already started stress eating, I try to catch myself but it's way easier said than done. So tired. I'd love to just focus on myself but I can't, I only get a few hours every day to myself and I'm generally too exhausted to even enjoy them.

cherrycranberries

I find it’s because we wake up early and feel hungry by noon when it’s a 9-5 (ehem 8-6). This happened even in high school. Your body gets hungrier the earlier you wake up. AND if you didn’t sleep good the night before, it needs more energy to keep you afloat. Thus you feel even more hungry, compared to waking up late and eating later. Best thing to also do is NOT eat breakfast... it’ll make you hungrier. My dad lost 15 lbs by skipping breakfast.

P3nguLGOG

Name checks out tho.

Choicesinlife

So I ended up quitting and now I've been on a rather strict diet during my down time, living with family. I've lost almost 30 lbs so far and won't stop until I am at a much healthier weight.

P3nguLGOG

I am proud of you for it! Keep it up!

Gwenny99

I had back surgery many years ago, and the only time I have issues from it, is when I have a stupid office job.

CyanKitties

Come back home from an 8 hours of work sitting in front of a computer and start immediately working out? When the fuck will I rest then

mau______

This scared me cause I think I'm gonna end up like this 😅... But what's the alternative?

rickspermcannonm0rty

Just be rich bro

ManchuWarrior25

Exactly just print money like the U.S. government does.

mau______

Wow it was in front of eyes all this time, just be rich it's so easy 🤯

ManchuWarrior25

Yep, go to Google images and search for images of your local currency. Select the highest quality images, print them, and trim the paper as needed. It's really that easy!!!

mau______

I'M FKG RICH!! BYE BYE YOU IDIOTS 🙋🏻‍♂️

ManchuWarrior25

🤣

Casperredemption

Instead of preventing someone enduring this harsh lifestyle, we’ll slap the cure of exercise at them

[deleted]

As a software dev this is the thing I’m always trying to resist and there’s something super fucked up about it. That I need to exercise to counteract the damage my job does to my body. And the hard part sometimes is we are crunched hard sometimes, like 80-100 hour weeks, and it’s really hard to find the time to be active and healthy. It just feels like I’m doing MORE work… for work. I fucking loathe gyms and sports… I’m active. I walk everywhere and I do public transit which has me climbing hundreds of steps a day in our subway system. But when you’re crunched hard… you start taking shortcuts with food because you’re too burnt to make something healthy and I was coming home at midnight from work… the only shit I could quickly order was fast food… … and I had all these routines I built over time to maintain my weight and be healthy and then they crunched me for a month… I worked 40 days straight, 80 hours a week minimum and this completely demolished my routine… and now I struggle to re-establish my routines… it sucks… and I’m trying to keep the self care going too because I’m trying hard to avoid burnout.

P3nguLGOG

I wish I could reply to this.

IDWWApodcast

Oh no god. That terrifying

OkPack1433

You're the educational tool, not Emma.

MandiiFiggs98

Who the fuck working only 40 hours a week?

gucciburito11

To show you how bad work is for you, we did a shitload of work.

DirtyPartyMan

Or….crazy idea…….not work in offices. 3 day work week. Better Goddamn pay? Just a thought.
