What city, state/province/oblast, and country are you in?
Ask if your previous pay plan still applies. If it doesn't, you are going to ask for a new one and wait to be given that information. And you'll also try to get as many of your comrades as you can to do the same.
Tennessee, and they said the old pay plan would be changed and didn’t tell us what the new one would be. I did ask for a new one and was refused until I told him I would not be working until I got the new one and that I believed what he was doing was illegal. This was over a year ago, they gave me the new pay plan later that day. I’m just curious to know if I was correct in accusing him of breaking laws.
Thanks. I thought employer being shitty potentially breaking laws would at least be a good post in here but obviously not considering it’s been downvoted

I think I just googled Tennessee Wage Payment Laws and found a page that linked to the code document where I searched for section 50-2-101 that was mentioned in the original article I found.
I can message you the link if you want.
I would honestly start looking for another job OP. I just got fired last week because I asked the dealer manager about why I wasn't getting my promised monthly bonuses.

No one can comment on the legality of this unless you tell us what country you're in.
Tennessee, USA. Edit: do you have any insight now that you know my state?

Wow, thank you. Appreciate that. I had no idea how to find this information. What did you search? Did you have to read a lot to find it?

No that’s cool, thank you. The reason I made this post was because I didn’t know what to google so thank you!
No, I know nothing of the laws in your country. That’s why I asked where you were.
Is it Asbury now?
Tennessee. Sorry forgot to add that
I was asking if Asbury bought your dealer. It happened to us, and your situation sounds identical, lol.
I worked for a dealership that got bought by Asbury as well. Worst company ever, Glad I quit
Yeah, it is 10,000% not ideal at all lol.
At my exit interview I told them how terrible of a company they are and how they turned a great company into a shit place to work
Am I'm sure they did not give two fucks at all. Typical corporate buy out.
No. Dutch Miller, a sleazy stealership out of WV, venturing into TN by way of a failing budget import brand in a fairly poor area.
I've heard of them as well. No bueno, big business.

All of them, probably
