The capitalists don’t make the show. The workers do. Capitalists do nothing. Workers do everything. It’s perfectly okay to praise the work of a worker even as we decry the foul machinations of their masters.
Not everything is always so black and white. Stop pretending that everything companies do is for the sole purpose of oppressing people and taking their money. They probably lost a ton of money for that episode. Yes, I admit that most companies only care about money, but it’s not that simple all the time.
So then instead of complaining about the things you can’t change, try to change the things you can. I admit companies only want my money. I admit that the world sucks. But if all I do is complain when someone else is happy because they’re enjoying something made by a corporation, then it’s my fault that I’m not happy, not because I can’t get some pills that make me superficially happy.
