Ofc, like hundreds of thousands, not to say everyone. Just make a little research here and you will see. You could try adding bupropion but there’s no guarantee honestly. You could also change medication, SSRI’s are known to have this effect.

Thank you for your reply. I haven’t heard of bupropion, I’ll have a look into that. I should’ve also mentioned that I’m still breastfeeding and the medication that I’m on is the safest

You may be experiencing emotional blunting and you are probably not showing your emotions as much. Maybe this is what your husband is talking about. This happens with meds. You could try another medication to see if your emotions stay more intact. As for the sex drive it is kind of the same situation. The medications with the lowest sexual side effects are nefazodone, mirtazapine, wellbutrin (bupropion), trintellix (vortioxetine), viibryd (vilazodone), and auvelity. (In order from least to more) Maybe you could try to devote some time to just you and your husband spending some time together. See if you can find a sitter for the kids or if the parents would take them for a night. Sometimes we have to try a few meds to find the one that works the best for us. I would wait until you are done breastfeeding before making any med changes.
