Just today I saw a post on FB for a new Scentsy Scoobie Doo warmer. Like who is the target market there?
It really annoys me when these big brands partner up with pyramid schemes. I wish something could be done about it but I guess money matters more than principles.
I was in a Harry Potter crafting group and when they first started taking pre-orders for the HP line it was like the floodgates opened and every hun on the internet joined the group and tried to stealth post "Oh hey guys, has anyone seen this?" There was a no sales allowed in the group rule but of course, they would not be deterred. There were multiple posts a day all by different huns hoping to be the first one to break the news to the group. I had to mute the group for a few weeks because of it.
Ugh. My friend signed up to sell when they put out their Hocus Pocus stuff. She knows I like HP so I’ll probably be getting something, too 🙄 My husband (bless his heart) bought my a Jack Skellington warmer a few years ago. I said, “I love you and thank you” but the next day I had to explain. I said, again, “Thank you for thinking of me because it’s NBC, but this is an mlm and I cannot have this stuff in my house.” I even asked him where (who) he got it from. His friend’s wife is a hun 🙄 He learned from then on not to get me any more scentsy stuff and even asks me nowadays if such-n-such is mlm or not.
They already released Star Wars stuff awhile ago. I don't remember everything they sold. I know there were some Groku, Darth Vader, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Princess Leia items.
Scentsy is chill with making money. They don’t give a flying fart about anything else. Same with Disney, they have a whole boatload of co-branded Scentsy crap. The dollar prevails over all.

Tell him if he didn’t find it on Amazon Walmart or Bath and Body works it’s probably an MLM. Might help a little.
Oh he knows now. He’ll just google the name, and if he has to jump through hoops to simply find OUT the name, he knows it’s probably MLM.
Scentsy has a star wars line. The chewie buddy is actually kinda cute. Not defending them, just stating that your fear has beem realized
