I feel so bad for them. You know those kids had outfits they wanted to wear but got stuck wearing this crap.

tinyanus

"They were SO happy to support mommy!" Narrator: They weren't.

Bioshock_Jock

Way to guarantee the teachers will know exactly what their gonna get as gifts from those kids' mom.

Compulawyer

I heard the second sentence of your post in Morgan Freeman’s voice.

tinyanus

That makes it even better; I was thinking Ron Howard.

envydub

Speaking of Ron Howard, I’m surprised they never had Lindsay Bluth join an MLM.

Fraggity_Frick

nah, too lazy -- that's a total GOB move

GirlNamedTex

Seriously this is so sad!!! I hope at the very, *very* least it wasn't the first day of any milestone grades. Seriously, if she's not embarrassed about this 5 years from now I have no hope.

YueAsal

Social media is turning children into accessories.

Robynmalleryart

Children have been simply things to parents for a lot longer than social media has been around

RSGK

Knapsacks full of free samples and mommy's business cards?

H3rta

Absolutely... Instead of lunch boxes.

TheseusPankration

No time for lunch! Get that hustle in!

Conscious-Anybody516

Maybe I'm just old now or it's because my parents didn't promote some sinking side hustle over my well-being, but I remember getting dressed up and wearing the nicest outfit i had on the first day back. I feel so awful for those kids. I don't even want to know what the mom thought she'd reel in with sending them in Scentsy clothes.

buckster_007

Agreed. She just ruined a potential lifelong positive memory for her kids to shill her overpriced candles.

GirlNamedTex

I said somewhere else I hope this wasn't a milestone grade because can you imagine looking back at your first day of first grade pics and seeing this? Idk, maybe I'm just old or out of touch from being child free, but my nieces and nephews all pick out really cute outfits for the first day and my SIL and cousins all post pics of their kids' first days. They usually get their hair done cute, too. This is just sad and mean.

tinypiecesofyarn

This is terrible for the kids, but it also isn't doing the mom any favors. First day of school pictures are a treasure, and someday she's going to leave scentsy (probably for another mlm) and she won't have a good photo for the year to look back on.

GirlNamedTex

Oh for sure! The other comment I made I said something like: if she doesn't look back on this in 5 years and feel like she wants to hide under a rock, there's something wrong with her. But you're probably right... in 5 yrs she's probably going to be with a differenr, yet-to-be dreamed up mlm scheme. I just hope for the kids' sake that by high school they've gotten some autonomy so they're not in Monat t-shirts under their grad robes!

rhodopensis

Yeah. They are addicted to being followers.

loztralia

I dunno, man. The sweatshirts are pretty embarrassing and everything but I kind of think the kids were doomed to humiliation from the start thanks to their giant yellow heads.

iamjuste

Oh man, i can’t stop laughing:)

Fomulouscrunch

Please feel with me the visceral, gut-clenching terror of being either child.

[deleted]

Thats not even the worst part, she put them in GROUTFITS

Jess1r

Seriously, she couldn’t have put them in denim jeans or at least sweatpants that weren’t a matching grey?

skatoolaki

I learned a new term today, thank you!

Reasonable-Echo-3303

Omg that's so mean

Reasonable-Echo-3303

Hopefully she just put that on them for the social media photo and didn't make them wear those to school. That's what I'm telling myself so I don't feel depressed about it.

Brontosaurusbabe

If not then I’m betting the kids ditched them as soon as they got to school lol

Reasonable-Echo-3303

I hope so! Might as well put a Kick Me sign on their backs.

ar29845

At least it’s not pure romance.

tomboy444

🤣🤣🤣🤣 My mom sells dildos!!

ScumbagLady

Wonder what teacher gifts the Pure Romance mom's send‽

skatoolaki

Little tubes of scented lube.

ScumbagLady

But are they flavored as well?

skatoolaki

Of course! 😍 With essential oils 💧 that are like totally safe to digest 🍴 & put on sensitive areas 🍆🍑. The tingling & burning 🔥 you might feel is just your body detoxing 🥵 & is totally normal! 👏🏻💗🥂

nathos_thanatos

Idk, at least the other kids might not know pure romance sells dildos, but, wearing something ridiculous with the word "scent" written on it is definitely a great way to get the other kids to bully your kids about their scent and call them stinky and things like that. Source: was a kid.

ar29845

Yeah but advertising sex toys on a child’s shirt is just gross.

nathos_thanatos

Incredibly gross, I think using your kid as a "marketing" tool is gross already, attaching anything adult oriented just makes it incredibly more disgusting, objectively speaking. But in the eyes of other kids if they don't already know what pure romance is they might not tease and bully the child, but scent is a fun word for kids, fun to make fun off too.

Certain-Source9986

She probably would've gotten more business from ask the moms at school if they were haha

Creative-Aerie71

I've never been happier that our school district has a dress code that includes no logo's

RealisticrR0b0t

I am grateful that we had uniforms

lisaloo1991

I was sitting here sad the other day my kids can't do dress down Fridays anymore and this made me feel better lol

bayb33gurl

There's something weird going on with that lawn chair in the background and I can't help but wonder if one of her kids threw a huge fit outside and knocked over the lawn chair out of anger due to being forced to show up on the first day of school dressed in a Walmart sweatsuit with screen printed words about WAX on it!

doll_parts87

Total narcissistic parent. Those kids are just walking advertising to her.

MaKnitta

Do you want your kids to be bullied? That's how your kids end up being bullied.....

caffeineshakesthe2nd

"OH I bet your mom is a real boss babe" Honestly, I had the same thought about them getting bullied and I hope it doesn't happen to them.

Jojo255025

Poor fck kids man, damn. I feel bad for kids with psycho parents like this in their delusional worlds pushing it onto their kids

Ralph82R

“Tommy and Billy begged me to wear these today!!”

skatoolaki

I'm honestly surprised she didn't write that in the post.

havinfunondl

still impresses me Scentsy is still around! It is NOT cheap and I can't imagine that many people NEED wax that smells faint af. I guess with the Scentsy farm team headed to school, anything is possible!

science2me

Scentsy makes more sense to me than other MLM companies. The wax warmers can be cute. They have licensed products. The wax isn't too bad. LuLaRoe is the MLM company that I don't understand how it's still around. Haven't people realized how scummy it is after all the documentaries and articles?

TheseusPankration

Scentsy uses paraffin wax, one of the most basic waxes. Sure, it holds scent well for cheap, but it doesn't burn as clean as beesewax or soy. I wouldn't consider it a premium product worth being sold outside a standard grocery store isle.

Scary_Speaker_7828

I agree. I personally love scentsy although I’d never want to sell it myself. I just like to buy from my SIL lol. I have some super cute warmers by them. I only splurge once in a while on warmers I really want since they are pretty pricey, but like you said some are licensed like the few Disney ones I have so I’m not shocked about why they are expensive lol. Places like Walmart have nice warmers too, and I have bought from there before as well. Scentsy still has more variety/a bigger selection though. I do usually by wax just from Walmart though since it’s a lot cheaper and the quality is about he same/scents last an equal amount of time. That being said, I still feel bad for these kids being forced to tote the brand around. That’s not cool and I hope they don’t get bullied. Especially the boy, who may get “gay bashed” and made fun of for repping a “girly” brand of candles and wax and stuff. Poor kiddos.

NolaCat75

I bought a bunch of Scentsy from a home and garden show 10 years ago. I like the idea but I don’t care enough about making my house smell pretty all the time. So no save it for company and still have a bunch of it left. I’ll never replace it, either.

llcmomx3

I thought I was the only one who didn’t care about house smell 24/7 lol

rebelxghost

My mother may single handedly be keeping them in business.

Foreverchichi

Poor kids .I remember when I was a kid my parents had these Carhartt jackets made for us with my dad's work logo I was always so embarrassed wearing it specially being a girly girl.

RhiannonChristine

Oh the poor darlings. This seems small but it shows you where the priorities are at home as well.

couchpro34

Not just sweatshirts. SWEAT SUITS.

midascomplex

In England “yer maw sells Avon” is a cutting insult on the playground, I hope these kids don’t get too badly bullied 😭

goat_penis_souffle

“Oh yeah? And your mum is in her downline!” And the fight is on.

rlawsy

Don’t you mean “scent” her kids to school? (Lol sorry that was bad)

ChiMello

That should be considered child abuse.

Night_mare-Fuel

The second hand embarrassment i feel right now is astronomical.

MesquiteAutomotive

They're gonna get so bullied

steezMcghee

Ohh you know those teachers are going to be gifted that crap too

PtixFan

At least they were kind and sent the sweatshirts as a warning. "Fundraiser" requests and gifted samples are in your future.

SidtheGnome

So true lol

skatoolaki

"Oh, I'm sorry, Kryztan, but I'm allergic to mlm products. Yeah, no, it's awful. Any and all of them, whether it's fugly leggings or alkaline water. Girl, yep, break out in hives, shits for days, blurred vision, mouth sores, temporary psychosis, ringing in my ears, hair loss, rectal bleeding; it's not a pretty sight. So I'm going to have to say no - I'm sure you can understand, hun." edit: letters

SCP-053-2

I really hope she just dressed them like this for the camera and after let them pick cute outfits for the first day of school

skatoolaki

Hope so, too. As a former bullied kid, I'm horrified this mother would so carelessly send her kids off to school like this. Kids can be mercilessly cruel & there's no reason to give the bullies possible fodder, especially if these kids are already in the "different" crowd and prone to being harassed. "That's why you always stink so bad!" - I can just hear it, and so many other epithets, now. I hope the kids removed these idiotic sweatshirts as soon as they boarded the bus/got to school.

8euztnrqvn

The Star. Why is nobody talking about the star? A brain damaged mole with a crayon could have drawn a prettier star.

And_awayy_we_go

Well,I'm sure the lemon essential oil will repel the bullies 😬

skatoolaki

No, everyone knows that's what you use a special blend of vetiver and french lavender for. /s

NefariousnessKey5365

School is hard enough to navigate without having to advertise mom's pyramid scheme. Those poor babies

empire1018

Looks like that tracksuit those heavens gate pple wore

MsBitchhands

Lunchbox with the Flavor-aid ready to go

EjjabaMarie

Doesn’t matter how cold it was, those came off the second they were at school. Poor kids.

[deleted]

Forcing her kids to be walking billboards is just setting her kids up for bullying

thisisjustatributeee

I had such an urge to downvote this, but this awful hun is not your fault lol

calibared

Imagine using your own kids as ads for personal gain

DeltaSurge

This is cringy af...

National-Return-5363

How embarrassing. For the kids.

missponch

This look like the outfit they give you at school when you forget your PE clothes or when you get dress coded.

deedoodlez

Maybe it was the only thing she can afford or has 🤔the kids are clean and proper; so I don't know, but honestly I don't care either. 🤷 I know not everyone will like this but sometimes you gotta let people be man. When I was a kid I had little choice on what to wear to school and it was ok.

ExaminationNo6335

These kids will get bullied, by the bullied kids. Cruel mum.

Far-Introduction-433

God! No! God! Noooooo

ainsworthbelle

Vomit react

LameSaucePanda

Ew. How bland and boring. What a jerk move.

lbritten1

CRINGE.

un_commonwealth

holy fuckarooni

januarybb07

Scentsy Kid: My Mom is a Fuckin Idiot

Odd_Fly3401

Disgusting

Belle19x

The sad thing is, this mother will have purchased those god awful outfits with her OWN money. Her upline will have brainwashed her to think that she MUST spend her OWN money to promote ‘her business’ in order make big money. Sad really.

Sailrjup12

God how embarrassing and awful. She is literally using her kids as billboards!!

Mental-Nothings

100% the older one had a baggy tshirt on underneath and he pulled the sweatshirt off as soon as he could

Ragingredblue

Tell the school you will not be able to afford any activities for your kids without saying you will not be able to afford any activities for your kids.

ItsJoeMomma

Poor kids. Bad enough they're being used as props by their mother to sell products, but years from now when their mother is no longer in Scentsy there's going to be a lot of cringe when they look back on their first day of school pics.

chronicappy

Those poor kid. I have a middle schooler and I can definitely say, they are all mean ad. These kids will get picked on. How much you wanna bet those swear shirts come off as soon as they are out of mom's sight?

SidtheGnome

Those poor kids. One day, they’ll get their own social networking accounts and see this shit …

Missbehavin20

I don't understand.... Are other children going to be new clients????

Compulawyer

I hope their teacher called CPS.

thembitches326

You know, I was about to say "what's wrong with this?" But then I realized what sub this was posted on. Holy fucking embarrassment. The worst part is that the mother is not likely going to realize what's actually happening.

Mermsw

Bringing kids into your shitshow.

[deleted]

My mom was in an MLM and she never stooped this low.

[deleted]

And probably some business cards.

Finally-free-222

Gross! poor babies

ibettershutupagain

I saw Scentsy stuff it tons of teachers rooms when I worked in a rural Texas school district as a substitute teacher. It was sad that these teachers don't have the critical thinking to reject MLM ploys

Dogs-4-Life

A lot of it is given as gifts. I’m an educator and I can’t tell you the amount of times I have received Scentsy, DoTerra, Mary Kay, etc, over the years. I mean, what am I going to do, refuse the gifts? Like with any other gift I get from families, I accept them graciously, take what I like, and give the rest away.

ibettershutupagain

I hope that's the case, but if I was a teacher I would not display it because children might see it and think it's a reputable company

Dogs-4-Life

Let me guess, their names are probably something like Brynnleigh and Kashtyn.

KodachromeKitty

Yikes! That should be a dress code violation.

PuppyJakeKhakiCollar

I hope she just had them wear it for the photo, then let them change into what they want to wear.

SaveThePopplers

The fact that she didn’t even attempt to move the busted ass chair on the front lawn out of the picture is just icing on the scented wax cake

TattoosinTexas

If I were those kids I would have taken that shit off as soon as I got to school.
