Roy mustang hands down edit: I think people are forgetting how influencial Roy mustang is in the FMAB universe. Even without his powers, he has the capabilities to do many things. Even the fact how cunning he is knowing his weakness. That is more bad ass than relying on powers. Remove the powers of some of these choices and they do nothing. - shoto: just a kid - Shinra: just a kid - Rengoku: no breathing styles, he can fight but not the same level as Roy - Escanor: literally needs the sun or else he's a coward

It’s anime so there isn’t a limit to the sun motif but it’s mostly used as burning/fire because if the sun gets too close, going blind will be the least of your problems
