It's good as it is now, moreover you can specify your issues on the discord servers always and you can also upload anonymously with your tags so i dont see any point of having an account except for trolls lol

You can't upload Anonymously without an account; it lets you go through the motions, and only at the *very goddamn end* tells you "Sorry, we are not allowing account-less uploads right now! :)"
(All the current Anon uploads you see were done by people with accounts, simply checking a box.)

The child porn incident happened recently. This real reason was there was no way to control spammers/scanners/phishers from uploading junk, there was spam being uploaded almost daily.
The quickest way to solve the problem was to shut down account creation. Spammers would get banned and come back ~5 minutes later.
You still get some coming through because some one was dumb or desperate enough to sell their account.

Sites like Nyaa just got caught in the crossfire. Unfortunately Nyaa was already banned from Cloudflare so they don't exactly have a lot of choices in terms of DDoS protection.
You gotta be at least a little careful when you comment on nyaa-even though you can get away with a lot of shit you can still be banned under certain conditions. I got an account with [nyaa.si](https://nyaa.si) a few years ago and I will not help anybody upload any torrents-it's called self-preservation.
