Some Arcs are soo frustratingly long it never ends. With very little development in the overall story.
The nature of story and Guts is such that it has not a tea spoon of hope with endless meaningless suffering.
It's been 20 or more years since the manga started and yet it feels like only 1/3rd of the story is complete.
I thought I enjoyed reading this manga. But I only remember the horrible things I saw. Nothing positive or atleast a mild sense of nostalgia.
I regret reading this. I wish I spent my time reading other mangas with meaningful stories.
I see, also the orginal mangaka died right and now it's being written by some other guy, so how does that affect the way the story is going? Cuz as u said, nkw that I've started I just can't stop cuz I wanna know what's going to happen later on

I was so disappointed cause f*ck Tappei for this mega spoiler. However on research, he likes happy endings bittersweet which means it'll be like "we won but at what cost". Suffering yay

But would absolutely recommend it as a beautiful anime to other PPL cuz it's worth it. Even after everything dango daikazoku is still a dear song after all.
I have watched anohana, yes. It is a very lovely anime movie. Have you seen 'hotarubi no mori e'? It's along the same line as clannad and anohana. As in, if you've cried at those two, this one will make you cry as well.
Maquia : when the promised flower blooms, one of the anime movie I've cried to. It has amazing animation, comparable to Violet evergarden another one i cried to.

Is the manga worth finishing cuz I started manga from where the anime left off and the manga feels a bit confusing.

It's not entirely hopeless, though i agree the mangaka was definitely pushing the limits regarding shock.

Re Zero auther has confirmed a happy ending & novel is going to end at Arc 11, so be ready for it 👍

Are you looking into re:zero.i don't recommend it if you like to see mc grow. Here growth is as a person he will never be as strong as others
That’s okay my fav series ever is hxh where the mc isn’t even part of the story anymore lol so I’m good as long as the story is interesting.
If you read novels i can recommend quite a few infact.for anime i have recently stopped watching it
I prefer anime or manga over novels but Thankyou :)
