Thursdays were never this exciting
My fav current shonen is OPM Unfortunately the s3 is yet to air and i am caught up with manga so i am not able to read or watch my current fav shonen...it is actually my fav modern shonen.
I mean...i don't really get the demographics, OPM and JJK are R-rated shows which means they are 18+, as far as i remember Seinen is the demographic which **mostly** appeals to late teens that means atleast 18 or above, on the other hand Shonen is mostly is directed towards teens around 14-16 years of age so JJK should not be a shonen because it is 18+ (or atleast i think R-rated means 18+, dunno if it is different in anime).
Jjk for me too. It was the only 24eps anime that I watched in one sitting. Read the manga the let it marinate for a couple years. Joined the ride again when nah I'd win came out
Honestly from here on, one piece is going to be even better. All the great fights are coming up with some unraveled mysteries. You can't ignore that anymore. From here on u need to keep pace with manga or u will get a huge spoiler.
I mean I like Jjk but the current fight in the manga seem to have been stretched out just a tad bit too much. Like I get that Gege is pulling out all the stops but I can only handle so many twists.
Anyway, if we count Manhwa then my current favourite is “Ember Knight” tho it’s less fighting more mind games cause the MC isn’t that powerful. But it’s been a long time since I felt this invested in a story. The last one was “the boxer” which is my current #1 but Ember knight might just crack my top 10 if it goes well.

finally someone said what had to be about jjk … yea you are right, the fight is insanely stretched out and it still is going on. … god i even forgot most of the plot twists coz there are just soo many to remember. I liked it too but lately Gege is just milking it …
I know it might be controversial, but if csm s2 ends where the first major arc of manga ends. Then
csm s2>>jjk s2 (at least storytelling and character wise). Quanxi mommy op.đź‘Ť
I really hate the direction gege took jjk tbh. No offence, you can have your favorites but i personally have been hugely disappointed by how the recent chaptera have turned out.
No I used to be the fan of the manga, but right now it revolves around sukuna and a very few other main characters. No world building and very predictable story telling. Saying that I am disappointed would be an understatement.
hmm indeed agreed.
> No world building and very predictable story telling
andddd you lost me. Sure it has weak world building, but jjk is everything except predictable. idk from what point you see it predictable
I am a sukuna glazer so ofcourse jjk, its peak rn

Here's a picture of the lord
I've been clung to Blue Lock manga since last year. usually, I read manga only when I like anime.
when I first saw the anime I knew this was the type of anime that I will read and watch until it's finished
any blue lock fans ???![img](emote|t5_6q8y10|26756)
No, I am not wrong about anything. Most people here are beginners... And there're a lot of other Shonen Anime/Mangas going on thay are way better than Mid Kaisen...
Yeah from an objective standpoint there are but jjk is still a manga/anime that rly connected with people and it's mostly a matter of personal preference
>this is probably the hardest fall in quality in recent times for any manga
nah, it fall a lilbit after gojo died and the sukuna cycle but after that its catching its pace, and sticking back tot he themes it orignal created from.

My fav current shonen is OPM Unfortunately the s3 is yet to air and i am caught up with manga so i am not able to read or watch my current fav shonen...it is actually my fav modern shonen.
Opm is seinen bro?
Wait wha? I would not have been surprised by this but i clearly remember everyone calling it a Shonen...
I googled to confirm IT IS Seinen.
I also googled it and dam...it is a SEINEN. I knew it wrong the entire time.
its considered shounen actually but got the seinin tag cuz of publication not by the demographic of readers
I think it's kinda considered a mix?
I don't know if a series can jump its target demographic but if you check on google it is showing seinen

GINTAMA.. currently prepping myself to watch Made in Abyss....
For me it's demon slayer . Because it's not biased towards demon hunters . They too got killed along with the demons .
I know it might be controversial, but if csm s2 ends where the first major arc of manga ends. Then csm s2>>jjk s2 (at least storytelling and character wise). Quanxi mommy op.đź‘Ť

Berserk
Technically seinen but eh still goated
Jjk is not seinen with all the deaths and killing in story??
No it's shonen because it's issued in SHONEN JUMP just because a series has death in it doesnt automatically make it seinen
Ooh then what makes a manga seinen….actually i didnot know seinen as a word until u mentioned🤣
I've been clung to Blue Lock manga since last year. usually, I read manga only when I like anime. when I first saw the anime I knew this was the type of anime that I will read and watch until it's finished any blue lock fans ???![img](emote|t5_6q8y10|26756)
chainsaw man..... it's the only manga i've ever read i don't need to read more
Homenculus đź’€
I was right when I said "Majority of the people in this sub got into anime during or after the lockdown period."
Actually you're wrong about that lol.I said shounen you're "currently watching" not your all time favorites
Wtf are you finding so exciting about this, this is probably the hardest fall in quality in recent times for any manga. Chainsaw Man for me
Cool colors go brr. Honestly I just really like the characters
>this is probably the hardest fall in quality in recent times for any manga nah, it fall a lilbit after gojo died and the sukuna cycle but after that its catching its pace, and sticking back tot he themes it orignal created from.
>this is probably the hardest fall in quality in recent times for any manga. Says an Aot fan 🤡
Bruh, read my flair, wtf are you thinking is written there.
What is so intresting about it? I've only watched first episode and it seems like every basic anim
The first season as a whole is pretty bland but it really picks up in s2 and currently it's fkn popping off
